9mm

The red sun had just set.

The moon now in the sky.

Emma's face covered in sweat.

Tonight, someone will die.

Y/N was sitting on the table.

Waiting for his dinner.

As Y/N was sitting, Lucius and Alice was standing behind him, side by side.

Emma was in the kitchen,

just like the other maids,

preparing Y/N's dinner.

Emma looked around, paranoia racking her nerves. Sweat rapidly pouring out her skin.

With a heart throbbing loudly, she looked to the left, and then right.

As she saw that no one was looking, she slowly and secretly added the poison on Y/N's drink.

Y/N is gonna die the same way as his father - Poisoning.

Isn't that funny?

The maids lined up.

Emma was struggling to properly carry the glass of Y/N's favorite drink, avoiding to splatter it in the ground.

The maids started walking out,

entering the dining room.

They started laying down the various things needed for Y/N's dinner.

The main dish.

His favorite fruit.

Various sauces.

And other things that Y/N requires.

And ofcourse, his favorite drink.

As Emma was laying down the drink,

trying her best to remain calm, Alice was following her every movement.

Alice was noticing something...

Something about the drink feels... off..

She immediately grabbed Emma's wrist. Stopping her from moving further.

Emma : "H-Hey! What's the problem!?"

Alice let Emma's wrist go, Emma immediately retracted her arm

away as she stared at Alice.

Alice held the cup up, letting the light shine on it, she also mixed it to see the contents of the drink.

Y/N : "Anything wrong...?" Y/N asked, starting to sense that something is

very much wrong.

Alice smelled the drink after mixing it.

Alice :

"Something...

Is wrong

with this

drink."

Y/N : "Huh...? What do you mean?"

Alice : "I think it's poisoned."

Emma's face immediately turned pale, her body feeling cold, on the verge of being found out.

Emma : "W-What do you mean? Why in the world would I poison my master! You're just being paranoid... Alice..."

She lied, trying her best to maintain

her voice and not crack under pressure.

Alice : "I see. You wouldn't mind drinking it if it's not poisoned,

Y/N : "Uhh... There's no way you'd put something in my drink, right, Emma...?"

Emma gulped.

It was supposed to be easy...

Why are things always so hard...?

She would just put the poison on his drink and then she would have paid

off her debt and would receive an additional two million from Ressen.

And most importantly,

and the sole reason why

she's doing this,

is to save her father's life...

But now...

Things are turning out to the point

that she now needs to use the gun

that Ressen had given her. She

haven't even seen and used a gun before, yet, she's ready to kill just

to save her father's life.

The gun is a 9mm that she had

carefully concealed in her pockets.

She convinced herself earlier that

she wouldn't resort to using the

gun, but that's clearly wrong.

But that doesn't matter...

She had already made her mind

up to choose her father over Y/N.

After all, Y/N doesn't even

notice her feelings for him.

Alice : "Emma can prove her innocence if she just take even the tiniest sip from the drink."

The ambience was on edge.

Every butler and maid stopped on

their tracks. Just to see whether

Emma is innocent or not.

And everyone was hoping

she was innocent.

Lucius was watching too. But silently. And with a neutral face. Waiting to

see what will happen.

Emma : "Fine... I'll drink..." She agreed with a weak voice, secretly holding the pistol inside her pocket.

Alice slowly handed the cup to Emma, Emma received the cup with her free hand.

Alice was looking at Emma with

a blank face, but her eyes are

carefully analyzing the situation.

Emma pretended to slowly put the cup on her lips with one hand, but her other hand quickly drew the pistol out of her pocket and tried to aim at Alice with shaking fearful hands.

As soon as Emma drew her 9mm

out, Alice also drew a 9mm out.

With her refined skills and

indifference to guns and death,

Alice was the first one to shoot

while Emma was shaking with fear.

The bullet immediately went

to Emma's head. Killing her.

Emma dropped down to the floor, making a lifeless thud as her pistol

also dropped down.

The mansion immediately burst into chaos. The maids and butlers hurried away, screaming, with immense fear.

Alice continued firing at the lifeless body of Emma. Turning her face into an unrecognizable mess of flesh and blood.

Lucius didn't run, but he was

screaming, witnessing the

absolute horror before him.

The Emma he knew, the Emma he worked with, now he can't even recognize her face anymore.

Just a mere glimpse at Emma's destroyed face, which was once beautiful,

can make someone nauseous.

Alice continued shooting as she approached the body, emptying

the magazine at her face, she

did it all with a blank face.

Alice stopped firing, the

magazine now now empty.

She was breathing, very heavily.

Eyeing down at the pathetic dead

body which laid at a puddle of red blood.

Alice's face and suit was

dirtied by Emma's red blood.

Alice slowly wiped the blood away from her cheek as she took a heavy sigh.
