Max's POV
I have no idea where my dream guy Is taking me. He has this cute smirk plastered across his face. "Colton, will you PLEASE tell me where your taking me?" I beg He keeps smirking and shakes his head, replying as a 'no.'
I sigh and take out my phone. I quickly send a text to Tom.
Maxine Heart: Hey, so I'm going out for about thirty minutes. We will be back soon.
He replays back almost instantly.
Thomas Heart: Good gosh, don't do anything stupid with him, max. And you better be back here as soon as possible.
Maxine Heart: Got it, Tom. And trust me, I won't.
Thomas Heart: I swear, if next year, your the one in this hospital giving birth, I will kill both you and Your stupid boyfriend.
Maxine Heart: Tom that's not gonna happen! And you love me too much I kill me.
Thomas Heart: Your right. So I will kill Tyler twice.
I didn't get to reply back, before Tyler grabs my phone. I snap my head up to him and try to revive my phone back. He smirks and raises it above his head. "Colton, give it back!" I yell, reaching for my baby.
"Princess, we are here!"
I look Around and out of the windows of the truck and notice we are in the middle of now where. I look back at Tyler and ask him "You brought me into the middle of no where?" I asked. He smiled and hook his head.
He got out of the car and quickly came to my side and opened it for me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out. "Look." He points towards
The edge of the grass.
Wait.... EDGE?!
He slowly walks us towards it and I hesitate to follow. But once we get closer, i start to see it. I see the city and all it's lights. The beautiful purple, blue, green, and red lights up the darkness. The street lights from far below and the cars Alcoa give in some of that.

I see the sea far off to the right. The same one that we re-met Alex at. I smile at all of it. This beautiful place. I then turn my focus onto the man that brought me here. He is smiling and staring at the same thing I was.
"How did you find this?" I asked. He looked at me and didn't let his smile drop. "My dad showed it to me when I was little." he answered. I had honestly never heard him mention his dad. But once the word 'dad' escaped his lips, he immediately frowned.
I put my hand on his shoulder. "Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked. He nodded and looked at the ground. I sat down and he sat down right beside me. I took his hand as we both lay on our backs.
"Talk." I whisper. And he does. Every single word.
"When I was little, I used to have a perfect family. A bigger brother. My nice mom. Hard working dad..... But one day...... my dad smoked weed. And he immediately got hooked. He would come home late from party's, and then try to get my mom to drink. She always did the right thing and never did. My dad would even throw party's at our house when mom left us alone with him. They soon got divorced and he went to jail. My family's still never recovered from that. My mom stays locked up in her room all the time when I go and visit her. And my brother never stays in contact with us. He broke all ties. So now it's just me and my mom."
I've never heard him talk about any of this. Why am I just now hearing of this? You know what? it doesn't matter, because I'm hearing it now. And I really don't want anything else to stress me out or start something. I squeeze his hand tightly.
"I'm sorry, Tyler." I mumbled, pressing my cheek into his shoulder. he shakes his head and wraps an arm around me, while grabbing my hand with the other. "It's all over now. And i can start my own family...... with you." I immediately look up at him.

He smiles and stares into my eyes, digging deeper into my soul. I smile softly and lean forward to kiss him. "Why is it that you what's know what to say?" I ask him. He smiled again and kisses my nose. "Because all I need to do is be honest with you and say what I feel."
"Your an asshole sometimes, you know that?"
"Yea. But only to you, princess." I smile and lightly push him by the shoulder. "You always leave me speechless." I mumbled. He leaned closer and whispered; "Thats exactly how I like it." before placing another, beautiful kiss upon my lips.
>
"Your finally back! I was starting to get worried, little sis" Tom said. I shrugged and me and Tyler took our seats on a couch. "I'm fine, Tom. Stop worrying."
"I'm your brother! And you were out with a boy, so OF COURSE I'm going to be worrying!" I rolled my eyes. He seemed like such an overprotective father sometimes. But I'm grateful, Considering ours wasn't here. "well thanks for being so nice then, Tom." I said. He smiled and nodded.
"I need Mr. Heart In here..... Now!" I heard a doctor say. Tom jumped up and hurriedly followed the doctor into the room. I got u and tried following, but they wouldn't let me trough.
So now I was in so much suspense.
>
Half an hour later, and here I finally am, holding one of my nieces. Yes, you heard me, ONE of them. There were twins. I smiled. I looked over at their mom and she looked tired as could be, but still held one of her children in her hands.
Tyler stood beside me and stared down at the baby in my arms along with me. I smiled at her. She had bright blue eyes and dark hair. She gripped a hole of my finger with her whole hand. She was adorable.
"She looks exactly like you." Tyler whispers. I look over at him and smile, before looking back the Beaty in my arms. "She's way prettier." I mumbled. Tyler moved one hand to my shoulder. "Max, you are the prettiest girl in this whole world." He whispers in my ear. I blush and I look up at Cassandra and Tom.
"What are their names?" I asked. They smiled and looked at each other. Cassandra looked at the red headed baby in her hands. "This is Larissa." She then looked at the one in my hands. "And that's Isabella." She answers. I smiled and looked at the baby.
"Isabella." I mumbled. Her name got her perfectly. She smiled, and grasped a hold on my finger again. "Keep an eye on Tom for me." I whisper. I give her back to her parents and the doctors then ask us to leave.
We do as we are told and Tyler and me sit down on the couch. He turns to me and says; "I hope that's us one day." He says. I smile and nod, before hugging him. "It will be, Colton. It will be."
And at this moment, the world seems perfect. Like nothing could get any better. And I could easily believe it.
I'm glad I accepted to go to this collage. And I'm glad Tyler bulled me in high school. Because if that never happened, we would just be roommates.
We wouldn't have had history together. No background story to bring us together.
Now, Our story is ending, and this baby's, is just beginning.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. Amir: A Short Horror Story
"My throat became dry; my tongue felt like sandpaper scraping against the top of my mouth. My mind became fuzzy. I had no chance of survival against this, this thing, and It was toying with me. It seemed to see the fear in my eyes and laughed, the metal sounding voice screeching like nails on a chalkboard. " I wrote this when I was young, and I haven't touched it since 2019, so don't worry about it.
