《His》Chapter 4

Waking up the next morning I realise I have nothing to change into and that I need a shower. I could nip into the town get some clothes and underwear to change into come back to the hotel and have a shower that way. I cant show up to my job in the same clothes I went in yesterday.

Deciding to do just that, I grab my phone and keys and walk out the hotel. I can grab something to eat in town before finding something to change into.

I grab a sausage roll and a water and quickly eat that and make my way to the closest store to me, I don't have much time to get back shower, change and then set off again to make it to the diner in time.

I grab a couple of white shirts, black trousers/skirts a change of underwear and also something to change into on a night as I have nothing. My bank wont like me for these but needs must. I also need to go to a shop and grab some necessities.

Quickly paying in both shops, I run back to the hotel and grab a quick shower, change, do my teeth and chuck my shoes on. I manage to make it to the diner in time for someone to show me the ropes of taking peoples orders and working the till.

By noon I have manage to get the grasp of it. Hearing the bell above the door go again I turn to look and see around five men walking through they exude confidence.

Allowing them to sit for a few minutes I walk over and I am about to take their orders when I hear a growl coming from one of them. I take a few steps back trying to see who it was. When my eyes land on the most forest green eyes I have ever seen I know I found who made the growl.

Keeping my distance I don't know whether to run or stay my flight or fight instincts have kicked in and aside from Lucas's pack I haven't been around any other wolves. Call it a gut instinct but I know these are wolves.

Guess which instinct won?

Flight, that's what I did. Not exactly flew but I ran out of that diner so fast I didn't know it had happened before I relaised I was on the main street with heavy footfalls behind me. That only encouraged me to run faster.

Seems pointless right? Trying to outrun a wolf. Well you would be correct in thinking that.

It was pointless, it wasn't long before I was pulled back into a warm hard chest. The smell so intoxicating making me feel weak.

"Why run mi amor" his voice is low and husky.
