《His》Chapter 2

Well now you know.
My boyfriend well ex-boyfriend cheated on me with his true mate. Through all of this I still didn't tell him the news I wanted to share although now I'm not sure if it would have been right to do so.
Would he have me get rid of the baby? Would he have me locked away till I birthed the baby and then got rid of me?
Who knows and the thought terrified me? Maybe when things have settled, I can contact Aiden and let him know.
All I know is right now I need to find somewhere to sleep and work on getting a place of my own as soon as I can. Possibly as far away from Aiden.
First things first find a hotel or b&b and then worry about the rest tomorrow.
I think I must have driven for 40 minutes by now and still no sign of somewhere to rest, no wonder Aiden's pack was unknown, we lived so deep into the countryside no one would have known.
You're probably wondering what was a human living with a pack of wolves?
Long story short my family got caught in the crossfire/war between two different packs. My parents died leaving me on my own when I was only five years old. The alpha took me in and cared for me like I was his own. I'm going to miss him.
Finally, I pull up outside of a hotel, first impressions aren't great but I'm in no mood to keep driving. I'm tired, hungry and still hurting.
Getting out the car I walk to the reception an elderly lady sits behind.
"Hello dear, what can I do for you?"
"I'm after a room for a few nights, please. Also, best place to get some food around here I've never been this far out before." She proceeded to nod and type on the computer.

"Looks like we have a few rooms available, anything in particular you need?" She asks
"A room for a week, other than that not really. I just need a bed to rest my head and some food in my stomach" just the thought of food made my stomach rumble loudly. I looked away.
"Ok I have booked you in one of our single rooms. The price—" I zoned out really. Just paid for the room have her a quick nod and a thank you and walked down to the room she gave me.
Well its not like home, but it will do. Better than sleeping in my car until I can get myself sorted with an apartment. The receptionist also gave me a few flyers which had places of food and entertainment.
Turning back around and out the door I went in search of food. Never felt so hungry before.
I decided to take a walk into town as it wasn't that far from the hotel and whether was alright too. I came up to a small diner and was immediately seated. I ordered a burger chips and coke which was quick and easy. While waiting for the food to come I had a little nosy and noticed it wasn't too busy in here and there was only about another four tables being served.
Food arrived quickly and as I was eating, I noticed a poster on the back window, 'HELP WANTED'. Finishing off my meal I grabbed the poster off the window and headed to the one wait staff that was on.
"Hi, is this job still going?" handing over the poster to him, he must have only been around 18 maybe saving up money for uni.
"Think so, ill ask the manager out back. Wait here." He informed me. I only waited for about five minutes before the manager came out to talk to me. He basically asked what my availability was and said I was hired and that I could start tomorrow learning the ropes and then it will be between me and a few other people who take turns in shifts as it wasn't that busy most of the time.

Lucky me I thought. I have myself a place to sleep for the week for now and a job which also pays weekly. I am going to have to look at somewhere else though maybe find someone who needs a house mate and doesn't expect too much to be paid in bills straight away.
I was on my way back to the hotel when my phone started ringing. Looking down I could see that it was Lucas, Aiden's dad. Swiping up to ignore the call and about to put my phone in my pocket again it started to ring again. Knowing I have no way to get myself out of this I answered the call and waited to hear what he had to say.
"Lily where are you? Are you alright?" he started to ramble off about his son and him being a horrible person. Well that's something we can agree on.
"Calm down I'm fine and I'm safe. You don't need to worry about me. Its—" I was cut off by him saying that he's always going to worry even though I may not be his biological child he still loves me the same. Also told me that if I was about to say 'it's better this way' he'd come and find me and bring me back.
Well that shut me up. I don't want to go back. I won't go back. Maybe he can come and visit sometimes.
"Are you listening to me Lily?" he asked.
"Hmmm, yeah. I am listening. Look I am fine. I just need to be on my own and I won't be coming back. I hope you understand." I keep walking back to the hotel its not much longer and we say goodbye once I get into the hotel and into my room.
After the events of today I don't have anything to get changed into or clean clothes for tomorrow. I curl up in a ball on the bed and allow the tears to fall and succumb to darkness.
