Its been 3 hours since i’ve been sleeping in the guest room looking at the ceiling reminiscing about the things that happened since my birthday and all that brought nothing but a bile up my throat that i just vomited a while back.

I tried crying but all i felt was numb, leo left around 11 p.m. it was now 3 in the morning and all i wanted to do was go to him and cry. I noticed that the only time i hadn’t spaced out or felt upset was when i was with leo, antonio and caterina. I felt safe and protected around them.

Cat went out to the pharmacy for some meds for the vomiting. A small smile lit up when i heard the front door open and heard leo and antonio’s voice. Throwing the duvet off me i quietly tiptoed downstairs to see them discussing something.

“He will not last long i fucking swear on that” leo gritted out, confused i cleared my throat startling them both.

“Hey uh- cherry what are you doing awake so late?” antonio asked fumbling with his words.

"What are you guys talking about?" I raised an eyebrow, shaking my head at their silence I replied.

“I couldn’t sleep” i shrugged, leo opened his mouth to say something but caterina chose that exact moment to enter the house with the medications.

“Um hey guys why are you all standing in front of the middle room and why do these two look so pale?” caterina asked pointing at antonio and leonardo.

Not aware of the reason i shrugged, caterina sighed and spoke up “forget about it, here you go and you should be resting. Go upstairs ill ask my stupid brother to cook some soup for you” caterina muttered passing me the bag.

Shaking my head i denied “he just came back, he must be tired I'll just take the medications and sleep i have work anyways tomorrow”

“aspetta aspetta aspetta! a cosa servono le medicine? sei malato? Cucinerò la zuppa per te e perché cazzo non stai riposando e perché non sono stato informato prima?” leo exclaimed in panic. Since the time i’ve known leo i know he unknowingly begins speaking in italian when he’s angry.

(wait wait wait! what are the meds for? are you sick? ill cook the soup for you and why the fuck aren't you resting and why wasn't i informed earlier ?)

“Im fine leo, just feeling a tad bit nauseous i just need some rest ok? But i do have a favour to ask that is if you don’t mind?” i asked mumbling the last the sentence.

Leo seemed a bit calmer now nodding he asked “of course amore what is it?”

“Can i sleep with you” i straight up asked looking at him in the eyes, antonio coughed making me look at him to see him smirking.

“I meant literal sleep you asshole, go and take a bath with some holy water will you” i sneered at him, laughing he came forward kissing my forehead.

“Sorry cherry, im going to bed now but please take care of yourself and if this fucker denies to cuddle with you im always here ok?” antonio offered smiling, nodding i kissed his cheek wishing both antonio and caterina goodnight who already was halfway to her bedroom.

"Of course you can sleep with me" I heard Leo reply in distance.

Turning back to leo i found him nowhere in sight “che cazzo wasn't he just here I heard him” i murmured looking around when i heard some movement in the kitchen. Walking there i found him stirring some liquid in a pot. (what the fuck)

"cosa stai facendo? pensavo di aver detto che non era necessario" i queried sniffing the liquid in hopes of some soup but imagine when all my hopes were crushed because scrunching my nose up all i could smell was the bitter smell of cinnamon, bay leaf and jaggery’s water. ("what are you making? i thought i said it wasn't needed")

“No! fuck no! Uh-uh sorry mister but im not drinking that” i scoffed shaking my finger moving back.

“Yes you are and this is not up for discussion” leo retorted making me shut up and glare at his face who seemed unaffected.

“Please leo i don’t wanna drink that it is the most disgusting drink ever to exist” i pleaded with an innocent expression to receive a not going to listen one in return.

“You are nauseous and this will help, i remember my mom used to make this for us when ever we felt sick” his tone became soft at the end, smiling he shook his head draining the water into a cup.

“Drink up, it's warm” he smirked handing me the cup.

“Yes” i replied then realized “no wait that’s cheating” i protested

"tutto è lecito in amore e in guerra baby" he kissed my cheek leaning up against the counter, the smug looked etched onto his face. Oh how i wish i could shoot it off his face.("all is fair in love and war baby")

“Fine” i gave up and drank the disgusting liquid, the warmness of it going down my throat. Sticking my tongue out i passed the cup to leo and headed upstairs “im going to sleep” i announced walking towards leo’s room, i quickly slides into his beds covers and closed my eyes soon enough i felt a warm hand enclose on my waist pulling me closer his warm breath tickling my neck.

“buona notte Amore” he kissed my neck, settling his head in the crook. (good night love)

Smiling i replied “buone notte”

“Hey bella, when was the last time you visited cat?” Daniel asked barging into my office.

“What the fuck dude, you came to my office to ask that?” i asked glaring at daniel and mia who barged into my office in the middle of the day.

“Yup, i finished with training early so i decided to come at your office” daniel nodded.

Sighing i replied “about 2 weeks back” yes it had been 2 weeks since i last saw them , i had been way to busy with the tasks at hand which gave me no time to visit them. Being a ceo is not an easy job.

“Well ok i was just wondering” daniel replied biting his lip looking at mia who avoided eye contact with me completely. Clearly knowing he was lying i decided to snap him out of his misery but not before a bit of teasing“i know you have cat’s no but since you feel like lying to me about it ill probably just take mia with me to their place tomorrow.”

“Ughh fine look, i wanna meet cat and wait mia wants to meet antonio too” he suddenly shouted pointing at mia who blushed furiously. Laughing at them both i shook my head “fine we’ll visit them tomorrow but daniel and mia if any of you hurt them best friends or not you won’t like the results, and if they hurt you its the same for them. Hm?” I asked them, nodding both of them smiled together sighing “so overprotective” they both muttered in union.

‘How the fuck are they not twins ughh’ my subconscious argued and for the first time i agreed.

“I have work but yall can leave” i offered. Denying they both sat of the luscious leather sofa and scrolled through their phone. It went silent for a while and all i did was sign some documents.

“Ughh” mia groaned, snapping my head at her i raised an eyebrow “cramps hurt like a bitch” she muttered holding her stomach.

“Wait here ill get some snacks and ibuprofen” daniel replied walking out of the office but i stayed frozen on the spot when realization burst through me.

My periods were late. It had been 4 weeks since the incident occured and i was late. Without my knowledge a tear dropped on the paper below me a sob racking through my body.

“Issa?”

“Issa?”

“ISSABELLA?” mia exclaimed shaking my shoulders breaking me out of my trance.

“Im late” i whispered looking at her

“Wha-oh” she moved back wide eyed

“I-uh i don’t understand, how?” she asked still in a state of shock when daniel came through the door

“Im back with the snacks” he announced smiling but his smile dropped as soon as he saw the state i was in.

“What happened?” he asked panicking

“Its over daniel, my life is over” i kept repeating these words the tears flowing continuously.

“What do you men bella?” he asked concerned

“ i might be pregnant” i confessed looking at him, shocked he stood rigid his knuckled turning white from the grip on my shoulders his eyes closed and nostrils flaring.

“Wait both of you explain how is this possible you were with us all this time and what i remember is last you got laid was months back so what the fuck? Is it Leonardo's?” mia asked moving her hands in the air.

I cried a bit more when I realised I had to tell Leo about this.

Daniel soon relaxed a bit and he explained everything to mia from start to beginning after i pleaded he told her, mia was in tears by the time he finished and i was trembling with fear anxiety crawling inside of me.

“Ill go the the pharmacy and buy some tests alright just stay here” daniel muttered kissing my forehead and walked out the door.

It had been a while since anyone spoke but i needed space and mia understood that, daniel soon came and handed me the tests which now lay on the smooth tiles of the basin.

“Its time” mia mentioned, nodding i picked up the two tests closing my eyes i prayed to god and slowly opened my eyes.

“Its positive”
