I felt Keira calming down a bit just then the elevator jerked and dropped down a floor.

Keira started hyperventilating again and her body was shivering badly in my hold. "Calm down baby girl, they are fixing the elevator. We will get out of here soon."

She snuggled further into me as if wanting to merge our bodies together. I tightly hold her while rocking but the second jerk of the elevator was her breaking point.

She hold her chest near her heart and painful whimpers were leaving her lips. "H-Hurts Abhi it hurts "

"Kiara!!, breath baby just breath for me" I don't know what to do I have never been with someone who has cardiac problem.

"Aaaaa....... Abhi...." Keira was in pain her hysterical crying was enough proof of that and I can't do anything in this situation.

"Keira have you bought your medicine" I asked while taking her handbag and searching for the medicine as I know she won't be able to speak anything.

"God damnit! Where are the pills" I need to take her to the hospital. I took out my phone and called Aarav, the network was so bad I wasn't able to hear his voice

"Listen Aarav get us out of here. Keira needs medical attention. Be quick" I said before the signal was gone

"Shh.... I'm with you, nothing will happen" I continued saying sweet nothing in her ear while keeping a tight hold of her close to my chest and rubbing her back softly. She was continuously crying clutching her chest.

I heard the voices of a few people outside the elevator and they banged on door trying to open it

"Bhai are you guys okay. We'll get you out don't worry" I recognised Aarav voice

"Work fast Aarav" I said as I could feel Keira's breath getting shallower. "Keira!, nonono keep your eyes open sweetheart. We are getting out of here. I need you to stay conscious"

But whatever I spoke it didn't work as her breath was getting lower, I don't want her to die because of lack of oxygen so I kissed her and transferred some air. But nothing worked because as I separated she fainted in my arms.

Just then the door opened and I quickly picked her up running towards the parking area. Aarav was also behind me, I could hear him calling for me but that was not my concern at the moment.

I drove to the hospital forgetting all the safety rules and crossing the speed limit. As I reached the hospital I took Keira in my arms and dashed inside shouting for a doctor. Soon she was taken to the emergency room.

I am waiting for the doctor to come out of the ER for the past half hour, Aarav is also here with me and soon all of my family joined us except Kamini aunty and Sanjay uncle.

"What happened to Keira?"

"Is she alright?"

"How can you both be so careless?"

"What did the doctor said?"

They all bombarded us with questions but my mind was only on the ER door. Aarav handled them and answered all their questions. By the time he finished the Singhania's were also present.

Krish bhai entered inside the ER since he's a doctor plus he knows Keira's medical history. We waited for another hour and half, before the doctor and Krish bhai came out.

We all stood up and basically hogged both of them, bombarding them with different questions.

"Calm down, calm down. You can go back Dr. Mehta I'll handle here" bhai said and the other doctor nodded before leaving. We all looked at bhai to answer our questions

"Keira is stable now, she had a minor attack but nothing too serious. Though her breathing has not stabilize so we had to attach her to the breathing machine. She is still unconscious and under sedatives effect so she'll wake up after four to five hours" I released a breath I didn't knew I was holding after listening to this.

"Abhiman can I talk to you" bhai said in a serious tone that surely means something is wrong. I nodded my head and we went inside my office since this hospital is under me, I have an office here. We both settled down and he started speaking.

"Do you know about Keira's medical condition" I nodded my head at him without saying anything

"Then you must be aware of her suffering from anemia" I again nodded my head

He sighed before speaking again "Abhi her heart valves have problems and because of that her heart is weak. You are aware that only two of her valves are working now the other two are blocked and working only due to operation"

I nodded again as I don't have anything to speak in this I know her condition is very bad but she still smile so bright as if everything's alright.

"The haemoglobin level right now in her body is six point two. You know how bad that is. Abhi you need to take care of her, kiu has this habit, she will look after everyone and take care of everything except herself."

"Even with us we needed to force her to eat more than she takes, watch that she took the medicines on time or not. Look after that she doesn't do anything that can cause her to be in distress. She's childish but she understands everyone's emotions."

"Please look after her Abhiman, if you can't we can take care of her until she gets well" he told me about Keira's medical condition before too but listening to it again is like cold water thrown over me.

"No I'll look after her don't worry and her blood level will also increase. Is there anything else I need to know." I will take care of her, I don't want to see those tears or hear her broken voice or watch the hysteric broken figure of her ever again. I just want my live and bubbly Keira.

After talking about her medication and check up schedule, we both left my office and went towards the ward she was kept in. I made everyone leave the hospital by saying I'll call them when she wakes up and sat down beside her.
