"Hello Beautiful, what can I get you?" The blonde boy smiled at me just as I heard Mr Grumpy grunt out. I looked at Mr Grumpy who was sending daggers at the poor boy. I really don't think he's a peoples person.

"Um can I please get a double scoop of cookies and cream with 2 flakes and chocolate drizzles please?" I smiled sweetly and the boys who's name tag read Kevin smiled back at me.

"Can you get a move on!" Mr Grumpy yelled at the boy who's eyes had widen. I gasped and looked at Mr Grumpy in disbelief. Kevin quickly moved to the make my Ice-cream cone.

"Mr Grumpy! You cannot do that to the boy."

"I can do what ever I want Kid. And stop calling me Mr Grumpy." He snared at me and I flinched. And here I thought we were getting somewhere. I guess not. Lucky there wasn't many people in the store.

"Well stop calling me Kid."

"Never."

"Fine." I poked my tongue out childishly and he squinted his eyes at me.

"Here you go ma'am. That's $3.70." Kevin says nervously as his eyes drift between Mr Grumpy and I. I quickly take the cone out of his hand. Then Mr Grumpy literally throws the coins on the counter and I gaped at him. How could he be so rude. And then he walks to the back of the store leaving me to smile apologetic at Kevin.

"Sorry about that Kevin." I muttered out and blushed when his eyes are still on me. He ran a hand through his hair nodding.

"That's fine. I didn't know he was your boyfriend." He says awkwardly tapping his fingers on the counter.

"Oh no, Mr-I mean he isn't my boyfriend. He's uh um friend. I guess." I avoided his eyes and quickly dashed where Mr Grumpy was.

Geez that was awkward.

Grinning I sat down on the chair opposite him quietly. He glared at the people around who walked passed us.

"Do you just glare at random people?" I asked licking my Ice-Cream. Holy moly this was so good. I kept my cone in one hand and the other was pulling m-his jacket closer to my body. 

He paused for a second before his glare landed on me, the shivers that went down my back were unbelievable. I stopped licking my Ice-Cream as I waited for him to say something. 

"Listen kid. I don't like talking to people. And people don't like talking to me. You already got Nikolai's attention so stop coming to me. I don't like you." He snapped at me with a glare that made me wince. 

And then he left. 

I sat there with my Ice-Cream watching him leave. My bottom lip quivered a bit and I felt my vision go blurry before I wiped it with the jacket sleeve. After that I continued to eat my Ice-Cream alone.

"Um Milly, which acid do I pour in?" I asked her sheepishly. 

"Si, Mr Loka literally just said which acid it was 2 minutes ago." She raised her brow and handed me the blue labeled tube that read Sulfuric Acid. I poured it into the beaker and watched it mix with other chemicals that she put in. 

"I kinda fell a sleep." I muttered out and I heard her giggles. 

"Si. You just make me laugh the whole time. So cute." She pinches my cheeks and I pout at her. "So, how are you?"

"I am actually really good, you?" Lies. 

"I'm good if you're good." She nods and writes down the results in her book. 

I began to write the results in my book when I felt a tap on my back. Startled at this action I turned around to meet the face of Kade. Kade was one the most sweetest guys I have ever come across. He has dark brown hair that was cut just below his ear. A pair of sparkly light green with a little bit of yellow speckles in them. His eyes were hidden behind a thick black shaped pair of glasses. And the guy also had dimples. So adorable. 

"Hi Ana, uh I was hoping if I could borrow your eraser please." His eyes moved between Milly's and I. Everyone in the whole town but Milly knew that Kade had a massive crush on her ever since Freshman year. Yet he is still too shy to make a move and she is just so oblivious to it. I mean the guy is practically in love with her and she is completely clueless. 

"Oh Hi Kade." Milly lifted her head to give a smile at him. 

"U-Um Hi Milly. I like your hair." His cheeks turned red as he said it and I giggled softly. Her hair looked exactly the same as every other day. 

"Thank you Kade." She gives him another sweet smile that had him starstruck. Poor boy. 

We heard someone clearing there throat and lifted our heads to see Mr Loka. Mr Loka stood at the front of the class waving his hand wildly at us to get our attention. "Remember students, we will be finishing this experiment tomorrow, so don't panic if you are not quite done yet. But I expect this report to be handed in tomorrow as well, no exceptions."

We got back to work after Mr Loka finished talking. I then stood up with my bag in my hand and walked to him silently hoping no one was looking at me. "Mr Loka, may I go to the bathroom please?" 

He stared at me and I stared back at him. Hello? I need to pee. Like pee pee. 

"Mr Loka, I really really need to pee." I pout and he gives up dismissing me to leave. 

I then sprinted-yes I sprinted, which is equal to your walking- all the way to the nearest toilets and did my business. 

"Look who it is, little Ana." I jumped at the sound of someones voice. I quickly dried my soaking hands before turning around. 

"Kelsey?" I gaped at her smiling figure. Oh gosh. No offense to her but I am not a big fan of her. 

"Yeah. So how do you know the boys?" She smiled too sweetly for my liking. Like she was trying to cover up something. 

"Sorry who?" I asked her squinting my eyes. 

"Jasper and Adrian?" She rolled her eyes and moved closer to me much to my mental protests.

"Oh they're friends." I said quickly when her stare intensified. Scary much. 

"Friends huh?" She scrunches up her nose at this sound of this and I nod wanting to get out of her presence. 

"Interesting." She nods and a smirk appears on her face. "So you are not together with any of them?" She glares at me and I quickly nod my head feeling a bit intimidated by her.

"Good. Keep it that way." The smirk stayed on her face and she walked away humming some tune. 

Feeling so confused I walked down the halls. It was extremely quiet except for the sound of my squeaky shoes. I was staring at my cute bracelet that Bethany gave me last year before I tripped over something. 

I groaned out loud when my nose banged on the floor. God that was so sore. I quickly got up hoping no one saw that. Because that would be absolutely embarrassing. I massaged my nose a bit before I heard a laugh in the background. Dammit. 

I turned around slowly facing Jasper. I felt my cheeks warming up and I looked at the floor trying to avoid contact. 

"Are you always this clumsy?" Jasper shakes his head and leans against someone's locker. 

"Maybe. Are you always this," I paused trying to think of a comeback, "laughy?" I mentally faced palmed myself.

"Really? That's all you got? That's not even a word." He laughs at me for a good few seconds before sobering up. 

"Shut up." I mumbled before his face dropped. Oh my god you just hurt his feelings. "I didn't mean that. I mean I did but I didn't. You know what I mean? Like that was so rude of me. Oh my god I am such a bad per-"

"Hey, calm down Ana. I was only joking with you." He laughed even more shaking his head and got off of the locker and walked closer to me.

"That was so rude." I gaped at him. He tricked me. 

He smiled at me staring at me a for a bit, and then the blush returned. "Ana, has Nikolai approached you at all?" His smile dropped and his tone was no longer playful but serious. 

Wow, thanks for reminding me once again that there might be a creepy stalker guy after me. "Um no he hasn't."

"Good." He told me and we stay in silence for a bit. I tried to forget about the whole Nikolai incident thing that happened 2 weeks ago. Yes 2 whole weeks without seeing or even talking to Adrian Miles. Talk about being grumpy. Like after he left me alone in that Ice-Cream store, he literally vanished. I hadn't seen him at school. His jacket laid on my desk waiting for it's owner but nooo the owner didn't want it. 

"Um has something happened to Mr Gr-Adrian?" I bit my lip as I waited for Jasper's reply. Was he dead? Was he in a coma? Did he get eaten by sharks? Did he fall in a tub of chocolate sauce and drown? 

Jasper runs a hand through his hair before sighing. "He is fine. He's just been uh busy." 

"Oh." I said lamely. So he wasn't dead or anything. 

After a few moments of awkward silence Jasper said, "Listen Ana, I gotta go. Be careful." I watched him walk off. It seems like everyone just likes to walk off right? 

Bethany was slapping Cam's hands which were trying to get Bethany's smoothie. Reece sat there on his phone talking to one of his guy friends. And I sat there like a weirdo staring outside with a chocolate coated doughnut. We were sitting at a table in Mama Jones. Mama Jones was kind of like a diner/ hang out place for us teens. They served the best food and it was super affordable. Mama Jones was close to our school so that's why there were so many teens here. 

"Hey Ana, you alright?" Reece asks as he places his phone down. 

"Yeah, why?" I bit my lip as I thought of what he would say. Did he know about the NIkolai thing? 

"Well it's just that you have been really quiet these days and a little grumpy." He says which brings attention from Cam and Beth. 

"Oh don't be silly, I am fine." I say under all their staring. God their staring was quite creepy actually. After they finished analyzing me Reece looks back at his phone and I sigh in relief. 

"Okay." Bethany drags the 'a'. "So guys guess what?" 

"What?" Cam takes fries from Reece and pops it into his mouth.

"Okay so yesterday I was at English right. And then asshole came into class and he sat right next to me. Like there were 6 empty seats and he chose me. And like I was acting like he wasn't there. And then he kept poking me to try and get my attention. But I was oh hell to the no no. And then in his sexy as voice he was like." She paused and quoted him, "Bethany right? Wanna have a quickie in the bathroom?" 

"Oh what did you say?" Cam said totally interested in this.

"I said no of course even though I would totally do it." She sips her smoothie and waves her hand around. 

"So what was the point of this story?" Reece asks as he shakes his head.

"He totally wants me." Bethany winks at us and wiggles her eyebrows. 

"You go girl." Cam winks back at her before stealing another handful of fries. 

"He does not want you." Reece rolls his eyes, "And Cam stop fuc- stealing my fries, get your own." 

"But honey. I want yours." Cam say dramatically fluttering his eyes like a girl. I giggled at him and he smiled at me. 

"He so wants me Reece." Bethany rolls her eyes at him. 

I didn't feel like talking, which was weird seeing as how I always wanted to talk. I laughed with my friends as I stared outside. There were a couple of people walking past Mama Jones, I smiled when I saw a cute little puppy with a small blue collar. Awh. I looked a bit longer at everyone before something caught my attention. 

Was that Mr Grumpy?

Immediately a smile was place on my face. I didn't know why I still wanted to see him after he said he didn't like me. But he fascinated me. Like he was just so mysterious and Grumpy. And he didn't have a lot of friends and everyone needs a friends. And I wanted it to be me. 

"Where are you going Ana?" Reece asks me squinting his eyes at me when I stood up. 

"Um I saw my mom and I want a ride." I lied hoping they would believe it. 

"Okay, bye honey." Cam waved and kissed my cheeks.

"Be careful Ana." Reece says as he kisses my forehead.

"Love you babe." Bethany winks at me. 

I walked towards Mr Grumpy's figure, he didn't notice me so I followed him. He walked into some store that I haven't been in before. I stare at the entrance before stepping in feeling a bit scared. It looked a bit dodgy though, but I needed to see him. 

It was dark and cold. Wasn't stores supposed to be welcoming? I looked around and saw that it was a store for suits and ties; all that jazz. No one was here, which was odd. Where was Mr Grumpy though? there was racks of Suits lined around the store, soft music playing in the background. I moved around glancing at everything. 

"Hello?" Was the last thing I said before a hand was on my mouth covering the squeals.
