《LOVE METER || TK ✓》eleven : feelings?

Jungkook savored his nana milk, peering at the television screen.
The two had been on their first date at a coffee shop two days ago. It was a month later, from the love meter, right after Taehyung's exams-his club had sponsored their date to a cafe.
It has been unusually awkward for the younger lad to face the former, for some reason. Every time he would run into him, his beard cheeks would burn.
Last month, when Taehyung fought with a student for him- when that somebody appeared to tease him way too much- It merely drove the things to become even more awkward.
Jungkook surely did not know why he was feeling like this. Did he always feel like this towards the elder?- or was it the effect of what happened at the love meter arena?
Closely enough, he assumes that it's not the effect of the love meter. Glancing back, there have been a number of times when the fellow felt like this. But did not acknowledge it, and now when he is, it simply feels too sudden, too out of blue. And kind of awkward to him.
By the way, did I tell you how our lil Koo was curled up on the carpet of the living room with his pet bunnies over his chest? There he continued to sip-sip his milkshake, watching some random K-Drama.
Meanwhile, the others were in their rooms; Saturday afternoons are assuredly exceedingly dull for everyone. But there Taehyung was, in the kitchen preparing himself some kimchi fried rice, cause why not?
Well, there was no way Jungkook, after smelling kimchi fried rice, would stay still. The fellow rapidly got up solely to saunter towards the kitchen along with his bunnies, who were following him behind.
As shortly as he saw Taehyung's bareback, he froze. It wasn't his first time watching the male shirtless. Actually, everyone except for Jungkook would linger shirtless at home; the fellow was awfully shy to wander around the house like this. A random tank-top would even do, but not half-naked, certainly.

One of the bunnies reached Taehyung's feet and held up by drawing the support of his heel- merely to declare that Jungkookie Jeon is here. The older of the two turned around to look at the boy, who immediately flew elsewhere with his two bunnies assuredly hopping behind him again.
Taehyung let out a deep sigh. Jungkook had been ignoring him a lot lately. Not actually ignoring but running away from him. They only had small talks while Taehyung would tutor him, other than that Jungkook would not speak to him.
It would have been a lie if Taehyung had not thought about things being like they used to be. Now, after witnessing his bunny and his bunnies run like that- he was determined to make things like they used to be.
.
.
.
The next day was Sunday. And like every damn Sunday, Taehyung, and Jungkook had the responsibility to water the plants in their backyard. The silence between the two was hitting Taehyung. He turned around to glance at the younger one, solely to spot the bunnies laying over the grass enjoying the sprinkles of water while Jungkook was just ahead of them watering the bushes.
An idea just then strikes off in his gracious brain. Taehyung stepped over the pipe the latter was holding and as instantly as Jungkook grimaced slightly to peer at the water inside the pipe- the former let go of it.
It was not even a second thereafter when Jungkook furiously pouted, dropping the watering pipe over the bushes to shoot behind the erstwhile, who was running for his life. Goddamn, those bunnies were literally following him with Jungkook.
And due to his prodigious luck, his barefoot stumbled over the grass which induced him to fall down.
Indeed, well indeed, Jungkook's luck was no better. The boy not being steady enough to control himself from falling crashed right beside the elder. That too, right on his face.

The shorter boy was lucky enough to have the elder, nevertheless. The towering male had evidently extended his arms to his sides to save the lad from hurting himself.
Imagine. . .
Just imagine, Two guys on the tender grass with two bunnies over their tummies. Eyes lingering with their mouths slightly parted. Blushful faces and-the broader one tucking that one strand of the smaller one's hair behind his left ear.
sheeeeshhhh. . .
With a shy face, Jungkook averted his gaze from the elder ones and directly ran away. Taehyung would simply grumble at his actions. He was supposed to make things how they used to be! He wasn't supposed to make things even more awkward!
.
.
"Didn't you guys see how he tricked me!?" Jungkook sulked, lying on his fluffy bed. While his bunnies were in the corner, facing the wall. The two were eating and wiggling their bum-bums, not really paying attention to what their big brother was blurting. "You guys are on his sides? Googie and Boogie???" he called the two, who appeared to not give him a glimpse.
"Didn't you guys see!?" he whined again, rolling like a burrito into the duvet. Thereafter, the boy sank down from the bed to the carpet. Googie; the bunny boy, munching his carrot, hopped towards the rolled-up burrito. The bunny bound over to his chest and laid down before exhaling dramatically watching Boogie. The bunny girl was still busy chewing at the corner facing the wall.
Nobody could understand Taehyung better than Googie- the bunny, after all.

Chronicles of Xod (returning from hiatus)
After a long recovery over a chronic motion sickness issue, I feel I'm ready to return to writing this book. It might be slow at first, but I'm hoping to pick up where I left off. I apologize again for the long hiatus. The pages following are a true account. An account of how I, Josh--a teenage nerd from modern suburbia--ended up in a strange world filled with fantastic magic, bizarre creatures, and terrifying dungeons. Despite the troped-up fantasy feel of the world, this is hardly an ordinary tale. For one, don’t expect a happy ending. With the trials I’ve been through, the horrors I’ve seen and the atrocities I’ve committed, believe me when I tell you, this is not a happy tale filled with friendly rainbow bears or teenage flying unicorns. It’s more likely you’ll finish this book mentally scarred as I will not spare the details of my unfortunate adventures. With the help of my trusted companion Gui, I gain an insight that no one else in the world has. This knowledge allows me to exploit and, for lack of a better term, metagame the system which gave me a clear advantage over its residents. “With great power...,” someone might begin to quote to me. In my defense, I think maybe even you, reader, might have acted similarly with how this reality changed my view of good and evil. This story will be updated regularly on Wednesdays around 6 PM. There will only be about 1000 words per update. The focus is to finish the story before doing any major changes or editing. Please read as if this is a work in progress, not a finished product. Feel free to let me know if you see any error, whether glaring or minor. If you help me out, I'll be sure to add you to a thank you list at the front of the book when it is published. Chronicles of Xod is a first-person fantasy novel that follows the adventures of a young man from Earth. Through unknown circumstances, he finds himself in a fantasy world where life is not all wonders and happy endings. The story takes common fantasy concepts from my favorite video games, books and movies and gives them an adult edge. It also introduces some taboo concepts often glossed over by stories written for broad audiences. The style is meant to be immersive and heavily detailed. The short novel will be written in a way that attempts to bring a sense of realism to an unrealistic genre. Where there are realistic consequences and dangers in a world populated with violent monsters, cruel demons, bloodthirsty undead, and immoral bandits. In this fantasy world, the inhabitants are essentially gender blind as far as sexuality is concerned. There is also more variation amongst male and female physiology. This isn't meant to be any kind of promotion or demotion of social behavior in reality. Just a concept I thought would be an interesting idea to have in a fantasy setting. I highly discourage anyone from reading this material if you are personally concerned with being offended or traumatized. Both violent and sexual content will be graphically detailed. All characters involved in sexual scenes are mature and of the age of consent(18+).

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
