(Ethan P.O.V)

"Welcome back to Auradon Prep." I said to my family as I hugged each one of them. Mother was always the tightest with her hugs, I link that due to the lack of hugs she got due to her powers. Aunt Anna and Uncle Kristoff were talking to Iris and Aaron who was with his boyfriend River, the son of Robin Hood. Hattie was with her Mother and Maggie, so I don't think I need to be worried about anything at the moment. But I do hope that things are alright with Maggie's family, even after what happened with Megara and Hercules, they still act like nothing happened between them.

"So how're things between you and Hattie?" Mother asked me and I smiled at the mention of Hattie's name, she just brings this smile that can never seem to go away and I don't want it to. "We've gone on a date earlier in the week, and it was nice. Yesterday, she actually spoke to her Dad and I asked him for permission." I told my Mother who was happy to see me happy, Ellie was at home and would arrive the day before the coronation so that was something to look forward to at least. I don't care what Ellie has to say about my relationship with Hattie, I'm happy and if me and Hattie want to end it for some reason then we will end it on our terms.

(Hattie P.O.V)

I watched as Ben came over and then they started singing this song, 'Be our Guest' which was a song that his family's staff sung to Queen Belle before she married the Beast. This was supposed to be a more modern take of the song and I did not like it at all. It was trying to be something that it wasn't at all and it was very annoying that's for sure. Ben was with his parents taking photos and talking, seemed harmless of course. Mal and the others were by the chocolate fountain and Carlos was attacking the chocolate along with Jay, I rolled my eyes at the two of them since that was embarrassing to be around. "Hattie!" A voice called out and I turned and saw Mom walking over to me, I walked over and hugged her tightly. "Hi Mama." I said and she chuckled, we talked for a little bit before moving over to Ethan's family so Mo could properly introduce herself to him.

I surprised him when I hugged him from behind, his face was hilarious and we all laughed at that. "Alright laugh it up, laugh it up." He said and there was a blush on his cheeks and it was adorable. "Mom, this is Ethan. Ethan, this is my Mom, Persephone." I introduced the two and Ethan tried to act like a Prince but Mom stopped him and things were great afterwards.

We all ate lunch together, Queen Elsa was a wonderful person. Her and Mom got along greatly and it was nice, Ethan was being tormented and teased by Aaron and Iris for having a girlfriend and acting like a lovesick puppy but he took it with pride. Croquet was an interesting game, but not one I would prefer playing. Mal was talking to someone and then Audrey came over, I immediately went pale. "Oh no, this is not good." I muttered and Ethan looked over where I was looking at and he paled too. "We need to get Mal away from her, now." Ethan said and we hurried over there but we were too late when the elderly woman started screaming. "How're you still young?" She asked Mal who was rightfully confused, for once I felt bad for my half-sister. "Queen Leah, it's okay. Maleficent is still on the island." Ben reassured the woman, now I knew who she was. Queen Leah, she's Sleeping Beauty's Mother. "This is her daughter, Mal. Don't you remember my proclamation to give the next generation a chance?" Ben questioned the former Queen who was angry. "A chance to what, Ben? Destroy us?" She asked him and she kept bringing up the past, I understand that she missed out on her daughters life but that doesn't mean she has to act like this. "My daughter was raised by Fairies, because of your mother's curse." The woman told Mal who looked broken inside, Mal forgot about the fact that there would be people hating her for what her Mother did.

"Excuse me, Queen Leah. But you didn't need to send your daughter away." I called out and everyone moved away and looked at me. "Maleficent was satisfied watching you two suffer knowing that your child would sleep away for the rest of her life. You didn't need to send her away, you could've raised her despite the curse. You and King Stephan did that to yourselves." I retorted and she glared at me. "And who do you think you are?!" She yelled at me and I just laughed at her shout. "Hattie, daughter of Hades. About to become the ruler of the Underworld, so I know what I'm saying." I introduced myself and did a little twirl for pizzazz. "We sent her away to protect her, in case Maleficent decided to spite us once more." She remarked and I rose one of my eyebrows. "No you didn't, you were ashamed by the fact that you couldn't protect her from the curse, so instead of swallowing your pride and having a happy 16 years with your child. You and your husband decided that sending her away was the better option." I argued and she faltered and I smirked, I knew I won that argument. Mal stepped forward to try and apologize for her mother's actions but Chad stopped her. "Don't do this Chad." Ben warned and Chad decided to try and argue with Ben, claiming that since they were raised by their parents, they were evil and that was it.

To that I had laughed loudly. "Oh Chad, you clearly have no idea what life is like on the Isle. Sure we were raised by our parents, but some of us, don't decide to conquer the world. Instead, some of us want to try to live our best lives with the lack of good resources on the Isle." I remarked and made sure to send a jab at King Adam who flinched. "Does nobody realize in this happy-go-lucky school that Chad acts just like Gaston? I mean, he cheats on all of his schoolwork, manipulates girls into doing his homework in exchange for a date that never happens, is a complete jerk and is a sexist person who fawns over a girl who isn't interested in him?" I asked them and they all gasped and Chad paled slightly, both King Adam and Queen Belle were shocked and wary of the Prince, so what does Chad do, point fingers. "She's a gold digger and a cheater!" Chad shouted while pointing at Evie and I growled and he whimpered. "She is not, it's not her fault her Mother told her from birth to find a Prince and marry him." I told him and he started to stutter, it was hilarious. "You stole another girl's boyfriend." He said to Mal and I poof'd in front of them. "May I remind you that at least, unlike Audrey, Mal treats him as a person and not a form of advancement towards the crown. I mean seriously Audrey, you were using him to get access to the crown, which was completely rude and toxic of you. So sorry you got dumped for a girl who isn't going to use Ben." I said and glared at Audrey the whole time, I was half-lying but who cares.

Chad then said and Jay likes hurting people. "May I remind you that the Isle is not a friendly place, sure he has hurt people but that doesn't mean he truly likes doing it. Unlike your sorry excuse of a Prince, you like leading people on and hurting them more than Jay ever did." I retorted and then Evie used her magic mirror to show that Chad was the biggest jerk here. He hit Evie's hand away and Jay was about to attack Chad but I stopped him and held Chad with magic. "You sir, are the most disrespectful boy I've ever met, and I met some really, really bad boys but you are above them. I though you Auradonians were supposed to be better than this, but apparently not." I remarked and so with a snap of my fingers I let him go and Evie sprayed him with some sleeping spray. "Nice touch." I told the bluette and then the four left. "I feared something like this would happen." King Adam said and I glared at him, my eyes turning bright blue quickly. "This isn't their fault!" Ben exclaimed and what does his Father do. "No son, it's yours." He told his son and tried to walk away but I didn't let him, especially after that sentence.

(3rd P.O.V)

Hattie shouted, her entire being was red like her Father when he was angry. " She exclaimed and then she too disappeared and King Adam walked away, completely shaken by the words the Goddess of the Underworld was saying. "I'll check on Hattie." Persephone told Ethan who looked worried about his girlfriend, he nodded and the Goddess of Spring disappeared. After that, everything was not the same.
