(Hattie P.O.V)

Ethan then dropped me off at my dorm room like a polite gentleman and I thanked him shyly, I was normally a shy girl and that side is showing itself and Ethan actually blushed slightly. He accepted my thanks and told me he was going to make the arrangements with Fairy Godmother and King Adam. He left and I walked into my dorm room, now I was expecting pink, frills, and pink, but when I walked in, I wasn't expected what I saw at all. The room had the traditional wood paneling but the rest of the room was dark reds and purples, definitely someone did not like the pink at all.

"Whoa, I might like this person already." I told myself and when the door opened again, there was a girl or a person with female like hair. "You must be my new roommate, nice to meet ya." The girl? said and I nodded, I didn't shake their hand in case my powers flare out. "The name's Margaret, my friends call me Maggie. I'm Hercules and Megara's daughter." She explained and I felt my eyelid twitch at the mention of the cousin who betrayed Dad. "So Herc-a-jerk has a daughter?" I asked her and the girl didn't seem to be scared at all, kind of ballsy if you ask me. "And a son, though the two don't speak to one another." She explained and I was curious about that, here I though he would be attentive towards his son.

"How's your Mother, surely she's doing well with my Dad being on the Isle." I asked her and she groaned at the mention of her Mother, seems like something isn't right with Zeusy-Boy's family. "Mom is just as promise breaking as she was back then. Just this time towards me and my brother and not towards my Dad, who doesn't seem to pay any attention towards us." Maggie explained and I was shocked that she and her brother weren't cared about by her parent's at all. "Guess compared to you, I was lucky in the parent department." I muttered and she looked at me with a confused look. "Dad always made sure I was okay, even after Mom died and he isolated himself for days at a time." I told her and her brown eyes held a sad look in them. "What happened to your Mom?" She asked and I felt my breath hitch but I looked at her. "The conditions on the Isle are horrendous, there is rarely ever clean water and enough food to feed everyone. In turn illnesses are common among us all, some even can't get the medicine to get themselves better." I told her vaguely, she was shocked that happened to us on the Isle, but then again they were living the luxurious lives here in Auradon. Not surprisingly, Maggie decided that I needed a hug and I was tense until she let me go but I could see that this was a start of a new beginning for our family.

Night came and Maggie finished helping me placing my clothes and belongings into the proper drawers. I thanked her and she smiled and we both went into our respective beds and I slept well for the first time in eight years.
