"Give us the ball back" I say
"Aww does the little baby want his ball back?"the cubby one says
"I'm not the one who got beat up by my baby sister." I say
He scrunched his eyebrows
"well your gonna have to play us for it"The chubby one says again
"Fight, fight!" Everybody chants
"What the matter you deaf? You wanna play or not?" The chubby one says
"We'll play you two on two" Rocky says coming through the crowd
"For how much?" The tall boy says
"For how much?, we're not supposed to gamble." Rocky says, the boys start laughing
"What am I hearing we're not supposed to gamble, we'll I wouldn't want to do anything to make your mommy or daddy spank you" the chubby one says
And the crowd laughs.
"What do you wanna bet?" I say
"Colt!" Rocky whisper yells at me
"Colt, haha, what a name" the tall boy says
"Yeah, little Horsie, how about some hay....laugh!" The chubby one says and everybody forces a laugh.
I go to hit them but Rocky puts his arm out stopping me.
"Colt don't" he says
"Well, we'll punks I seem to be collecting quite a few bikes today, how about we play for yours?" The chubby one says
"When we win, what do we get?" I ask
"Well if you win me and my buddies will let you walk outta here without busting your faces" the chubby one says
"How many points to a game" Rocky asks
"10, duh!" The chubby one says
"Fine we'll spot you nine, you take first out." Rocky says
"Nine piece of cake" they say high fiving each other while we walk away.
"Now colt no matter what no fighting" Rocky says
"Oh come on!" I say
"No fighting" he says
"What if they mention Hayley?" I whisper, his face instantly changed.
"Just let me deal with it okay?" He says
"Let's whip they're butts" I say and take my jacket off
"Can you hold my hat?" Rocky asks Emily
"Why are you showing off?" Emily says
"I'm not showing off, I'm playing basketball."
We won the first 9 points but then they tripped me up and scored winning our bikes in the process.
"Are you guys okay?" Emily came up to us
"Emily, I'll get your bike back" Rocky says
"Forget it" Emily says handing him his hat back and leaving
