"Last summer me and my brothers-" Jeffrey was saying before getting cut off by Samuel

"My brothers and I!" Samuel stated

"What about me" Hayley said crossing her arms "Whatever" Jefferey said

"We spent the summer, the way we always do at our grandpa's cabin"

"Yeah while most kids are at some stupid camp my two younger brothers and I studied with our Japanese grandfather" Samuel said

"Don't forget about me" Hayley said

"Whatever" Samuel and Michael said in unison

"Most mornings start the same way he'd wake us up with a different test, which I was always ready for "Samuel stated

"So was I" Jeffrey said

"So was I" Tum Tum said

"Yeah right" Samuel, Jeffrey, Hayley say in unison

"Even I was more prepared than you" Hayley says

Grandpa walks into the room, leans over Jeffrey with a stick puts it near his face and he almost instantly grabs it, Grandpa tells Jeffrey to be quiet as he does the same to Samuel who grabs it imediately then he goes to Michael and puts it in his face but it doesn't work then he goes to touch Michael's sweet bag and he wakes up glaring at him and lastly he goes over to Hayleys bed Grandpa puts in near her face and she grabs it and snaps it in half with her eyes closed not wanting to wake up so Grandpa turns to the boys and they jump on her bed forcing her to wake up.

They get changed and head outside to practice

"Grandpas kind of a goofball in a way, but when it comes to marshal arts and stuff he's pretty cool" Samuel says

"Yeah, like he could slaughter 50 guys in two seconds" Michael says

"Shut up!"Jeffrey says

" You Shut up!" Michael says

"Just go " Samuel says rolling his eyes

"Anyway we've been training since we were really little" Michael says

"You and Hayley are still really little" Jeffrey says

"Jerk" Hayley and Michael say at same time and high five each other.

"With all our ninja training we thought we were ready to be ninjas" Samuel said and Jeffrey muttered "Except Hayley" Hayley jumps on his back and slapped him, Samuel pulls her off him saying "it's a good thing we were because that was a summer we would never forget"

Training averagely consisted of high kicks, kicking plant pots so they smashed, running miles with weights on their ankles and tugging Grandpa up a hill in a sledge, nunchucks skills, carrying buckets of water attached to wood across a bride dodging trees, that may be in the way, throwing ninja stars, bow staff and swordsman ship, daggers, gymnastics, blindfolded battles, and finally catching grandpa.

My brothers and I were hiding in trees while our grandpa pulled up in his car Michael jumped in front while I jumped behind grandpa got out of the car and walked around to the front Jeffrey swung in knocking him over, Jeffrey threw ninja stars just missing grandpa, he got back up and Samuel jumped down and started attacking him with a bow staff, then Jeffrey came down doing it also. Grandpa jumped on the car, he did back handsprings until I jumped in and swiped his hands out with my bow staff, he hurt his back getting up, perfect shot we thought, we all attacked, then all of a sudden grandpa threw a smoke bomb on the ground escaping.

"Woah" I said

"Where'd he go?, where is he?" Michael said, I shook my head indicating I didn't know

Then we heard a long laugh, grandpa

"Yoohoo, up here" he said

He was in a tree

"Grandpa how'd you do that!" Samuel asked

"Next time try attacking in a non-smoking section"

Grandpa stated

"Man, we almost had you" Jeffrey said taking his hood off

"Yeah we almost had you" Michael said doing the same thing as Jeffrey, I rolled my eyes, Samuel saw this and chuckled.

"Almost had me, oh Michael?" Grandpa said

"What?" Michael says

"If I hadn't stopped the car, you'd be called pancake by now" grandpa states

"You would've stopped" Michael said

"I wouldn't" I mumbled Samuel slapped the back off my head "ow" I said

"Okay guys what now?" Samuel says

"Let's attack him again" Jeffrey says

"Ah two lessons you have to learn from this battle,

Number one, never attack unless your gonna win." Grandpa says

"And lesson two?" Jeffrey says

"Don't climb a tree that's full of thorns" grandpa says

We all burst out laughing
