Grandpa? Will our dad be home tomorrow when we get back?- tum-tum questioned
Well he's a busy man with a very troublesome job tum-tum - grandpa answered seriously
We're almost there - Mr. Douglas said
He stopped the car inside a big warehouse
There he stood Mr. Douglas' worst enemy "Hugo Snyder" he was waiting for them to arrive
Mr. Douglas opened the door to the limousine (did I mention that?) since he's the "driver" he opened the door for hus partner Mr. Gustavo (idk his name I forgot but he's indian I I just made up the "Gustavo" part. k bye)
Mr. Gustavo walked to Snyder and opened the briefcase he was attatched to (Cuz he was like handcuffed to the briefcase did anybody notice that?) and nodded to Snyder
Snyder did a movement and elbowed the green wooden box beside him
He pulled out the "thing that they agreed on (it looked like one of those pipes you put under the sink for me i'm sorry i'll leave you to read now :))
On time as promised - said Snyder
It is a pleasure to do business with you mr. Snyder - Gustavo thanked
Now on behalf of the people of my country i'd like to say - he paused
You're under arrest! - Gustavo said while showing Snyder his F.B.I I.D.
FREEZE SNYDER! F.B.I! - Mr. Douglas yelled
The F.B.I people/the police (the popo's) came out the cars and pointed their guns at Snyder
Snyder looked angry (and when i say 'angry' I mean ANGRY!)
The F.B.I started to come inside the warehouse
Hehehehehe~ - Mr. Gustavo laughed in a singsongy way
Then Snyder smacked (not punch just hit) Mr. Gustavo in his face using his fist

Mr. Gustavo is now unconscious
HOLD YOUR FIRE! - Mr. Douglas announced
GIVE IT UP SNYDER, YOU GOT NOWHERE TO GO - He continued
A Suprise! - Snyder started
Ropes started to drop from the ceiling of the warehouse
I LOVE Surprises! - Snyder continued
Men in ninja suits started to go down the ropes
The F.B.I WOOO hahaha - Snyder laughed while holding an unconscious Gustavo in his hands wobbling him
Nice of you to drop in - Snyder sain in a serious tone also gritting his teeth in the process
The ninja men landed on top of some policemen knocking them over
Snyder put Mr. Gustavo over his shoulder supporting him with his right hand and his left hand holding the briefcase full of "money"
Mr. Douglas punched one ninja guy with him holding his gun
Snyder jogged over to the back entrance/stairway to upstairs (the rooftop) setting down Mr. Gustavo
He unbuttoned his blazer and opened the briefcase he smirked thinking he got the money,(honestly he's such a fool) turns out it was just blank paper (see what I mean 😒)
He threw the paper onto the wall (bc he's a big baby who didn't get his baby bottle, kidding he's just mad)
Freeze! - one policeman said while both policemen loaded up their long guns (dunno what they're called)
Snyder turned around and...

Synergy
Dear Inspector, Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from being a Player. Hey! Laugh all you want, but I had to try. With no rules down here, who's to say that I can't resign? Anyway, my reasons are simple: I'm neither a gamer nor a hero. You got the wrong person for the job. Sure, the pay is decent and I could pretty much live like a king if, you know, I wasn't so busy trying to survive. I have major concerns about the demonic dagger bound to my soul too. Come to think of it, I've never asked to be transported to this fantasy land either and would like you to return me home, thank you very much. I don't want supernatural powers, I don't want to complete quests after quests, and I don't want to be your test subject anymore. What? I'm not whining, you're whining. Stop making excuses and let me leave already. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you'll find a better replacement after I'm gone for good. Sincerely,Randel, the Mad Painter What to expect from Synergy: --> Some GameLit elements are presented subversively. If you want the protagonist to “play the game” properly, this might not be the story for you.--> No filler chapters; the story's structure is already plotted out. It's going to have six story arcs.--> Character development happens slowly, over many chapters. Don't expect a perfect protagonist right off the bat.--> Some romance, but it will never be the main focus.--> Humor and dark elements in equal measure, but not to the extent that I’d label this story as “Comedy” or “Grimdark”. ... and lots and lots of Author's Notes. See you on the other side of the portal!

The Waterborne - Blasphemous Series
Gamelit / LITRPG Elements are common in this novel. Some say a single action can't change anything. But what if you add another action? And another one? At one point, you would have to agree that a single action can change a person's life. When a young woman is plagued by a mental illness, only a benevolent god can give her a deal worth taking. Living again in another world where underwater monsters, rebellious factions and ancient artefacts are common place, we will have to see, just how much a single action can change things. Updated M - W - S (During the editing / rewriting process, updates are postponed.) This novel is a part of the Blasphemous Series, which can be read in any order, I recommend new readers start with this novel.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

After the End: Serenity
We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way. The content warnings are mostly to give me room to write; this fiction is not intended to be edgy, but once in a while a character will swear or someone will get seriously injured. The cover image is a Chandra/Hubble composite image of VV 340 / Arp 302 / UGC 9618. While we're not going to space itself any time soon in the story, people from elsewhere are coming to Earth and Serenity will visit other planets. Plus, I like space imagery.
