They celebrated Henry's eleventh birthday at Mr Gold's shop. As a gift from his grandpa, he may choose any item in the shop and have it. When Henry chose a wand, he was surprised. "Winter was intrigued by this particular one as well," he explains when asked. He let's Henry see how it works and turns him into a procelain version of himself and smashes his undoing into pieces.
And then Rumplestiltskin wakes up from that nightmare. He tries to wake himself up by throwing cold water into his face. The cold was somehow soothing. He dries his face when he hears the phone go off downstairs. Still in his pajamas he hurries downstairs to take it. It was his son, telling him that he and Henry would meet up and asks him to join them. Rumple promises to come as soon as he could and hangs up.
The Dark One goes back upstairs and dresses. Afterwards, he peeks inside Winter's bedroom and sighs when he sees that nothing has changed. Darkness is coming and he can feel it enclosing the precious princess. Something will happen soon and he is terrified what cost it might have. Mr Gold walks inside and kisses the girl on her forehead. Then he leaves the house, locks it and goes to the place where he and Baelfire and Henry would meet.
Once there, he stops to take a look at father and son. They were playing with wooden swords, no care in the world. The two haven't noticed him standing there or that Regina joins him. When she asks what her son was doing with his, he gloats in shocking her with the news that Baelfire is Henry's biological father.
She tells him that he must have known this and played a sick joke, as the cursed Mr Gold had procured him for her when she asked for a child. He tells her quite frankly that he didn't know and that fate has a strange sense of humor. They walk towards the boys together while Regina makes comments about how his darkness will always take over in whatever he does. She then leaves him so he could spend time with his son and grandson, but his trail of thoughts ruins that moment for him.
It was time he paid Belle a visit again. He tells her why he called her a few days before, when he was about to die. She tells him that she could tell his feelings were true and that she can sort sense things like that. He looks up from that bit of news. Could it be that his Belle was still in there, locked away somewhere?
Belle tells him that she remembers being healed by him, but Mr Gold was kind of vague as to how and what. All he really said was that 'when she remembers herself, it would all be clear'. She asks him if he can help her with that, to which he responds something in the way of 'if you do the same for me'. That confuses her for a second until he explains again how she brought out the best in him and how that is exactly what he needs right now.

"We can help each other," Belle tells him. Mr Gold tells her he would ask someone to let her out, as she's been in the hospital for far too long. Belle was packing her stuff when the mayor of Storybrooke comes and introduces herself. When Regina bows forward, she magics an item into her hand and gives it to Belle. She quickly dismisses it like she did with the cup, but when the woman insists she looks.. she becomes the worst version of herself.
"I think I remember who I am," she says, but she couldn't be farther off from the truth.
Greg and Tamara agree to get a package out of town that very evening. Emma was introduced to Anton again and sees the bean field growing. She realizes why they hid this: they wanted to go to the Enchanted Forest. When they try to convince her, telling her that world is where they all belong, Emma disagrees. "No. This world is.. my home. What about people who are not better off there? Imagine Gold or Regina back, everyone will want to kill them. Or-Or Winter, then. She is stuck in sleep here and there. Imagine what.. interdemensional travel will do to her?"
"This world's been nothing but cruel to you. If we go back, I think you might be able to have your happy ending," David suggests. Emma turns to look at the field. She was still indecisive about it. In the meanwhile, Mr Gold discovers that Belle has left the hospital on her own and finds a card of some club slash bar he has told Winter many times to stay away from when they were still cursed. Belle has to be there.
He goes to 'The Rabbit Hole' to find her. Mr Gold was welcomed by the man behind the bar. When he explains that he was searching for someone and describes her, he was asked if her name was certainly Belle, as it sounded much like 'Lacey'. When Gold asks who this 'Lacey' is, the guy points to a girl who is certainly Belle. Only.. less clad and more drunk. This is Belle's cursed self.
He leaves that disgusting bar and goes to the one who has done this to her: Regina. He tells her to undo it, but the Mayor simply responds she can't and that Lacey has now replaced Belle. He promises her that he will make Lacey love him again so he can break that damned curse. With that he leaves, promising that there will be suffering if it fails.
Mr Gold finds Charming and Grumpy in Granny's diner, where they were getting food for all the dwarves. He asks to speak with the prince and once he can, he asks for his help in winning Belle back. He tells him that, if he helps him, he will owe David a favor. They go back to The Rabbit Hole and join Lacey at the bar. She leaves to change the music and David tells Mr Gold to ask her out on a date.

Gold walks up to Lacey and asks her out. The woman makes a comment on how Mr Gold wasn't exactly beloved by the others. He asks her for a chance, which she gives him. She walks away while telling him they will meet that night at Granny's around eight o'clock. David walks up to her with a smug grin on his face. Mr Gold responds that he now only needed to have her fall in love with him.
That evening he sits opposite a beautiful Belle, hum hum, Lacey in one of Granny's booths with the menu in his hands. He let it fall out of his hands, which causes Lacey to giggle and ask if he's nervous. Of course he tells her no with some bad lie. Granny comes for their order and Rumple ordered what he and Belle would normally have, but this was not Belle. This was Lacey and she ordered for herself.
Lacey tells him she didn't expect him to be classy, given his reputation. "I.. heard you had two kids, running around here? A guy and then a much younger girl. Two wives who left you? Affair? What happened?" Rumple freezes as he tries to explain his relationship with his children without all the fairytale stuff.
"Well, I married a woman young and had a son with her. Then she left me for someone else. Years later I.. adopted a girl with a woman I cared for very much." Lacey nods her head. "Is this that Belle girl you were talking about?" Mr Gold nods his head. Lacey frowns. "What about that girl? Never seen her around you before. Where is she?"
"She's.. very ill. I keep her mostly inside the house so she won't get sicker. Lately, she can't even get out of bed anymore. But enough sad stories. You talk about my reputation a lot. What do you hear?" Lacey bites her lip and explains how she heard about his power and ruthlessness. She tells him that she can't see why they say all those things.
When she says something about not knowing what's in someone's heart until you truly know them, he was so shocked that he pushes his iced tea over, right onto Lacey's dress. She excuses herself to go to the bathroom, but when he found that she took quite much time he goes after her. He finds her snogging another man behind the diner and can't contain his good intentions anymore. He rips the man off Lacey angrily and starts yelling at him. He wanted to punch him, but didn't.
Mr Gold finds out quick enough that the date wasn't going well. It was awful, she didn't want to be with him and went out to kiss someone else. She tells him that she doesn't like the good Mr Gold. When he explains that she did before, Lacey yells at him that it's still all about Belle and tells him that she's not her. When she was gone, she couldn't agree more.
Regina sees the good guys being mysterious again and after her strange conversation with Emma that afternoon, where she told her to make a decision before 'it's too late', she decides to trace down where the dwarves, Mary Margaret and David came from. Once she arrives there, she reveals the field with magical beans. There was a way to go back to the Enchanted Forest and they kept it from her. At the same time the former sheriff of Nottingham, the one to snog Lacey, runs after Mr Gold to make more excuses.
Gold was tired of being the good guy. He takes the sheriff's tongue so no one would 'hear him scream'. He throws the tongue away, makes it disappear and slams the man harshly on his back with his cane when the sheriff dove after his tongue. He beats the man bloody and blue when he realises he was being watched.
It was Lacey. He pants heavily. She states that everything they tell about him is true, to which Gold agrees. There is no denying it. Lacey says that she is glad that he is not who she thought he was. He adds that he is much darker than that and continues beating the sheriff of Nottingham.
Emma opens the door for a knocked-out Henry over Neal's shoulder. He puts their boy on the couch as his mother puts a blanket over him. She asks if he ever thinks about going back, but Neal explains how his not-so-fairytale childhood made him less likely to. The conversation goes on to August, how the now young boy places nicely with Henry and that it's sad he couldn't finish his warning. Neal assures Emma that she will be able to figure it out.
Greg waits in his car by the town border for his accomplice and girlfriend. Her red car drives towards his with a trailer bound behind it, though it wasn't only for storage. It also holds their 'secret package.' When Tamara lowers the door, she reveals it to be Captain Hook, all bound and gagges between luggage.

Despondent Divinity
There exists a Great Seal which split the world in two, one half ravaged by the Darkness, the other a safe haven of Light. Since the collapse of the old world, 20,000 years have passed, and the world watches on as their only protection from the Plague of Plagues slowly dissipates. Only the strong may survive the oncoming Demon horde, and the forgotten prince, Jack Calmira, fears he may not have what it takes. In a world where weakness is punished by death, what are weak men to do? Author's Note: Expect a chapter or two every month, but I'll get faster eventually. This story isn't a Wuxia, but it has a lot of eastern influence. The MC isn't OP and is flawed. Less action, more character driven. Constructive criticism would be appreciated as it's my first story. Chinese culture has inspired a lot of the novel, but much of it is an amalgamation of different cultures, some made up and some not. Think Xianxia + Shounen with a mix of western and eastern fantasy elements.

Perhaps. =====Summary Over===== Yo, if you are reading this then (like me) you like to read pretty much anything, including some guy's random rambles. Well you could read this story if you want but what's the fun in that really? I'm pretty much writing this (my first) story on a whim so it is certainly not perfect nor is it likely to be good (but what do I know maybe I'm secretly talented). It also might have tons of tons of errors beacuse I'm dumb and sometimes it's just so boring to proof read and you just wanna send a chapter out y'know. Regardless, whether this story brings you the most euphoric delight or illicits the most intense abhorrence I wanna know what you think and how I can improve, reader person, especially if you read this far!
