The two warriors steer their horses up the abandoned wasteland to the old palace, laying in ruins. In the pavilion, shielded by large thorn bushes, stands a wooden coffin with no cover. On the coffin lays a woman with long, brown hair spread on the cushion and a torn purple dress. In the corner stands a dusty spinning wheel.

The brown haired male steps off his horse and draws his weapon. He cuts through the thorn bushes with his sharp sword, accompanied by his grunting noises. When he created a passage he and his companion stepped through. He sheathes his sword, his eyes widening at the sleeping woman. He couldn't believe he had finally found her. After his last, unfortunately failed, mission to find someone dear to him, this was a victory. The prince walks around the coffin and leans in to the girl's lips, but halts.

He looks up at his companion. "If this works, we don't tell her everything, not right away." The other warrior nods it's head respectfully. Prince Philip leans in to kiss his fianceé's lips. His kiss awakes her with a gasp, breaking the curse that held her captive in sleep.

The girl slowly looks around and catches sight of him. "Philip," she whispers. "Yes, Aurora," he replies in the same whisper tone. "I told you not to come after me. Not before you found who you were looking for." He chuckles, though melancholy fills his heart. To prevent the sadness taking over, he kisses her lips. The other warrior looks away from their public display of affection.

Aurora sits up. "How long have I been asleep? What happened?" The woman looks around, slightly dazed. "It doesn't matter. The worst of it is over. Now that we're together, we'll restore this castle and our kingdom and, as we dreamt, we'll be here always," Philip says.

"Where is everyone? Why does it need to be rebuilt? Where is your sister? I thought I told you to come after me once you found her," Aurora asks as she let herself slide off her resting place. "It's a long story and you, my love, need rest," Philip says, not wanting to talk about his failure.

He had met Aurora on his path to find his sister Winter. He had gone with Prince Charming, an old friend of his, and his friend Mulan. During their journey, they landed in a storm and found shelter in a castle. Philip there met the princess. The two fell in love rather quickly, but after the storm rested he had to continue. The two promised to wed when he returned with his sister, but once he left Aurora was cursed.

"I've had my fill of rest," she responds, trying to stand up. "Then come with me." The prince helps her off the table and onto her feet. "Our people have gathered in a new safe haven. We must join them."

"A safe haven? Is Princess Winter there? From Maleficent?" "No. Worry not. She can no longer harm us," he says. Aurora replies on that skeptically. "First she goes after my mother, then me. Forgive me if I'm still a bit wary." "Don't be," Philip assures her gently," There are new dangers now, but nothing we can't handle." He presses a kiss onto her lips. When they part, Aurora mutters with a happy smile:" I can't wait to meet my soon-to-be sister-in-law."

Philip gives her a half-hearted smile. Unfortunately, she would have to wait for a long time..

All the lost fairy tale characters spread over Storybrooke, trying to find those they lost. Snow White and Charming officially meet their now adult daughter Emma, whom they lost as a baby, and take her into a hug. As they reunited, all wondered: what was the purple smoke that washed over them? Was it magic? When the Blue Fairy arrived Henry asked her to do something magical, but she explained that she was unable to without fairy dust and a wand.

Deep inside the forest, Mr Gold, or rather, Rumplestiltskin, was still slightly baffled that his plan worked. He had brought magic here. He turns to his love. "My darling Belle. You have to tell me what happened to you," he asks her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I was abducted," the woman responds. "Regina," the man replies with spite. Just when he thought he couldn't hate the woman more, he found out that he did.

Belle nods and continues: "She locked me away into her curse and I've been in the asylum ever since." "For 28 years," Gold says. Belle nods again. "All these years, you've been here. Alive."

"Is-Is that- is that why you did this? Why you wanted magic, for revenge," Belle asks him, looking at him with a doubtful eye. She knows Rumplestiltskin and she knows how brutal he can be to people who crossed him. "No, no, but it might come in handy." "No. No," the brunette begs. "I cannot let this stand, Belle. I will not let this stand," Mr Gold says, raising his voice and pointing his finger angrily to make his point.

"Look.. promise me. Promise me you won't give in to your hate. Promise me you won't kill her," the woman begs. Rumplestiltskin was having a hard time not giving in to the blue eyes that he loves so much it hurt him. "Promise me.. and we can be together. A family, as we first were. With Winter," she whispers, emotions taking over the stability of her voice.

"Oh," Mr Gold whispers, his face scrunching up as he tries not to cry. Finally most of his loves were together with him at once: Winter, the daughter he lost and almost lost again, and Belle, the love he thought for dead. He softly strokes Belle's cheek with the back of his hand. "Sweetheart.. I promise," he whispers, going overboard. All in the name of love. Belle smiles gently at him and the two lean in, their lips meeting in the middle.

When they part, Belle grabs his hand and entwines their fingers. "Now, let's find our little Winter."

In the meanwhile the group of heroes struts through the streets, Emma right before them in her red leather jacket. While Snow and Charming try to coax their daughter into talking to them.. well, about her being their daughter, they hear a gasp. It was Ruby.

"What's wrong Red," Snow asks. The redhead sticks her nose in the air. "I'm not quite sure, but it smells.. dark. Like magic," she explains and she walks around the street, trying to sniff up the track. They turn around the corner of the street. Red screams out and Emma looks over the girl's shoulder and sees what she was so shocked about.

It was Winter, laying on her side on the street. She wasn't moving. "Is she dead," Emma asks quite frantically. Like most other citizens of Storybrooke, she had taken a liking to the girl with the silver eyes. Red asks if someone had a knife, which one of the Seven Dwarves gave to her. The former waitress puts it underneath Winter's nose, but nothing happened. "She's not breathing," she says, her own breathing quickening with fright.

"These are similar to the curse that the Evil Queen put on Snow White," Granny comments. "So what you're saying is that Winter is under a Sleeping Curse," Snow asks, remembering the little girl they saved from the bandits on the road. "But who would put it on her," Charming asks. Red shrugs. "I know no one who doesn't hold her dear."

Emma sighs. "Granny, could you take her to her home and tuck her in? We have to find Gold," she asks the older woman. Though an elder, she was quite fit and more than able to carry the slim girl. Granny nods and takes Winter over her shoulder, marching the other direction.

As Emma swears that she would help Winter awaken from her curse, they hear commotion on the streets. The crowd, led by Whale, to kill Regina.

Doctor Hopper runs towards them, holding his typical umbrella, and pants when he reaches the group. "There you are. Come with me, I need your help. Dr Whale's whipped everyone into a frenzy. They're going to Regina's house. They're gonna kill her," he panics. "Great, let's watch," Grumpy mentions. He hated Regina and couldn't wait for revenge to bite her into the ass. "No, no, we cannot stoop to her level. No matter who she is or what she's done, killing her is wrong," the conscience says.

Henry peeps up. "He's right. Please. She's still my mom," the boy begs them, hoping they would help her. Emma was conflicted for a moment. She truly hates Regina and would wish nothing more but for her to suffer.. but she couldn't do that to Henry. "We have to stop them," she eventually says. The others agree that Regina's possibly, newly obtained magic could cause a slaughter and go to Madam Mayor's house.

Later that day, Rumplestiltskin did something he would regret later on the day. He set a Wraith loose on Regina, and so on Storybrooke, even though Belle begged him not to kill her. In fact, he didn't really kill her, which he told her when she discovered his lie, but she was having none of it. While the Wraith was going wild outside, Belle steps out of his shop. But the former princess was not familiar with Storybrooke and knew no one here that could help her.

While she tries to find out where she could go, she remembers Rumple mentioning something about a house. "It's where Winter and I have lived for the past three years. I will take you there to meet her, but not now." She knows where it was and begins to walk.

Belle was surprised to find the lights on when she arrived. Was someone in the home? Then she started to feel very excited when she realised that it could be Winter being at home. The woman has missed the girl so much. Winter was like her daughter and she loves her as if she's her biological one.

When Belle lost her, she was devastated. She returned to Rumple, crying her heart out and telling him what she had discovered when she woke up that morning in the inn. Now, she was finally getting her little girl back. Belle enters the house and hears noise. The woman stumbles through the house, trying to find a living soul, not noticing someone following her with a crossbow in her hands.

"Halt!" Belle snaps around so fast she could get a whiplash. She sees Granny, holding a crossbow, loaded and pointing at her. Belle quickly raises her hands in defense. "Who are you," the older woman snarls. "M-My name's Belle. Where is Winter?"

The woman freezes, slowly lowering her crossbow. "You might not want to see her," she mutters, but Belle shakes her head. "N-No, I want to see her. I've waited for so long to see her, I'm not letting it slip away," the brunette says. Granny sighs and signs her head up. "Upstairs, third door on the left."

Before Granny could give her another warning, Belle runs up the stairs and marges towards the room. But truthfully, she wished she had listened to Granny. Because what she saw when she entered broke her heart even more.

Winter, laying in bed with the covers over her. Her eyes closed, her hands folded on her stomach over the blankets. Not moving a single inch, not even her chest. "No.. NO!" Belle cries.

As Rumplestiltskin did what he was good at, spinning whool, in his shop, he hears the bell tinkling and the door closing. He looks over his shoulder to see Belle walking in through the curtain. She clears her throat to get his attention. "Hi," she says, trying not to sound as terrified as she felt right now. "Hey," he replies, surprised to see his love standing there. He thought she would not want to see him for a while.

"I, uh, went for a long walk," she says, trying to slowly bring up the painful subject. "I thought you didn't want to see me," he responds. "I didn't, but I.. was worried," she mutters. Worried something happened to him as well.

"Well, the beast is gone. Regina.. lives, though Mary Margaret and Emma were sent to some other realm," he says, referring to the Wraith he set loose. "So, uh, you didn't get what you wanted," Belle states. "Well, that remains to be seen," Rumple responds.

The brunette was taken off her real reason for coming there in the first place as she looks over his shoulder and sees a familiar cup. She walks past him and picks it up. "You uh.. you still have it," she says with a laugh. She sniffles as she says:" My chipped cup."

Mr Gold stands up from his seat by the spinning wheel. "There are many, many things in this shop, but this.." he takes the cup from her hands gently," This is the only thing I truly cherish, next to the pendant I gave Winter. Do you remember that?"

Belle chuckles. "Of course I do. You gave it to her with the promise it would always protect her from magic, where ever she would go, as it holds a drop of her blood. She was so happy." Gold twists the chipped cup in his hands, thinking deeply. "Yes.. and now you must leave."

"What," Belle questions, her face scrunching up in confusion. "You must leave, because despite what you hope, I'm still a monster." He wasn't quite sure why Belle was smiling at him after his words. Wasn't she supposed to be afraid of him? Instead of running away, she puts her hands on his shoulder. "Don't you see? That's exactly the reason I have to stay.."

Slowly, Rumplestiltskin takes her wrists and pulls her hands off his shoulders. He takes her hands into his. "Come on, let's go home and get Winter to meet you." Belle freezes visibly. She forgot to tell him..

"Rumple, there's something you should know," the woman says with a small voice. Mr Gold looks at her with questioning eyes. "What is it, dearie?"

"Winter, she.. she's cursed. A Sleeping Curse."
