Yoongi's POV:
"A bonfire?"
"Yeahhh wouldn't that be fun guys...?"
Listen our manager hasn't been getting on my nerves lately. I shouldn't even be here to be honest. I'm not even a part of the group. I'm just a producer and songwriter. Nothing more, nothing less. And I'm happy with that. What else could I ask for?
"What are we even gonna do?"
"I don't know exactly but, some games. Never have I ever, Truth or dare, two truths and a lie or even would you rather"
He's like the master of typical 9 year girls' sleepovers. I don't think he realizes that we are men between the ages of 15 and 20, so we won't be having any sleepovers anytime soon.
Maybe Jungkook and Tae... but let's not get into that.
Wait now that I think about it
"Where's Tae?"
With this, everyone strats looking around confused. I make eye contact with Jimin with red tinted cheeks who's holding in a laugh. I tilt my head
"Oh, he's just taking care of.... an issue"
He laughs a little while finishing his sentence. We can't help but wonder what he meant. As I was about to ask for more details, the one with the issue walks into the living room. Cheeks flushed, hair a little messy and out of breath. I look towards his hands and I can see that they are wet. He didn't—
"So what are we talking about?"
We stay quiet for a while until Jungkook, the innocent bunny he is, speaks up
"What were you doing?"
Taehyung looks towards Jimin with a scared look. Jimin is just looking at him with a smirk. He tilts his head, indicating to Tae that he should answer.
"Oh, I was just-"
"Having fun?"

Everyone turns to see who the voice came from. And it was, surprisingly, the one and only one who asked the question in the first place. Jungkook raises his eyebrows and keeps eyeing Taehyung with an unreadable expression.
"I— uh.."
"Okay, let's not talk about your man problems and get back to the bonfire plan"
I see Tae visibly relax from the corner of my eye. I feel a little bad, but I have to admit, it's kinda funny. I'm just hoping hat the reason his hands are wet is cause he washed them. I mean, please, 'cause right now his arms around Jimin and that would just be extremely problematic.
"A bonfire? Why?"
A sigh is heard from the counsellor.
"Listen guys, this whole trip was planned for you guys to bond and become a family. You'll be working together for the next few years and it's not good for the fans or even the group itself if you don't have a connection. You've been having too many fights lately and we want to resolve them. And step one to solving problems is, knowing the cause. What better way in knowing the cause than knowing each other and learning new things?"
We all sigh and say "fine" in unison. It was so in sync that we could even pass off as a choir.
"Okay, that's perfect. A little more enthousiasme next time, but that's okay, we're gonna work on that during the time we're staying here. Bonfire's gonna be Friday at 8pm sharp. Be there or be square"
- What the fuck manager-nim? -
———————
It's finally the day of the highly anticipated camp fire. You can tell how excited I am by how lazily I got out of bed when I realized what day it was this morning. All week we've been doing dumb activities as a team and shit. And so far, it hasn't helped any of us. I can constantly hear Jin and Jimin fighting next door. And it's always the dumb stuff that you'd think the eldest of the members wouldn't fight about. It's stuff like: who's turn is it to shower, who sleeps on which side of the bed or if one of them takes up more space in their closet.

It's so fucking annoying. I'm just trying to sleep
And it's not even Jimin that's the cause. It's Jin. Obviously. He's the one to open the topic into the conversation. I overheard one of their conversations Wednesday, and lemme tell you. I got so pissed when I heard it. Jimin was just being nice, wanting to do Jin's laundry. But do you want to know what he gets as a response. Jin just fucking started yelling at Jimin. Stuff like "you don't respect my personal space" or "you're the dumbest piece of shit" and even "you don't deserve to be a part of the group. All you do is mess shit up". And I swear, right then and there, I wanted to barge into that room and beat Jin up. And I was about to do it until I heard Jimin respond. I was surprised when I really processed what he said
"I'm sorry for trying to be a part of something. I'm sorry for being such a fuck up. And I'm sorry that I'm here. Don't worry, I don't want to be here either and I'll be leaving soon anyways"
Then I heard the door to their room close and a loud groan, probably form Jin. I was scared. I thought Jimin had just left to go back home. But not home as in the dorms, no. As in, back to Busan with the people who actually treat him like family. The people who make him feel like he's worth something.
I only wished that I was that person.
I had gotten out of my room to run after him, wanting to convince him to stay. But what I found wasn't what I expected. I was met with a smiling Jimin.
And not just any smiling Jimin. A smiling Jimin that looked as happy as ever, like he won the lottery or something. There were no signs of dried up tears that would've falling on his cheeks minutes before. Nothing. Just happily smiling Jimin in the hallway.
I brought him to my room and he ended up sleeping there.
Now we're back to today. Two days after the fight. Both nights he had come to my room to sleep with me. Taehyung decided to go to Jungkook's room. Hobi went to Namjoon's 'cause Jin had called for Namjoon in his room.
It's sad to think that, the staff brought us here to patch things up, but it feels like the complete opposite. Bangtan's slowly falling apart. We shouldn't be called the bulletproof boy-scouts if we can't even handle a bit of drama between the members. This shouldn't even be considered "a bit of drama" this is serious.
Maybe tonight will change things between us...

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

A healthy mind in a healthy body
288 A.D, he was born. 297 A.D, he realised he had evil impulses. 298 A.D he heard of Anthony of Egypt, and sought to follow his example to learn how to suppress his impulses. 303 A.D, he saw his people be persecuted. 306 A.D, his world changed thrice, the persecutions ended forever, this fact and his hermit lifestyle brought him peace which came with strange abilities, and through them he joined the Hidden Side of the World, back then not yet hidden. 307 A.D, he sought for a way to cure myself, yet he stumbled across something more. A reckless ritual connected him to a well of knowledge, driving him insane and immortal, causing him to be treated as a commodity in the supernatural community, an Oracle. 2019 A.D, its been 1712 years, and the lusitanian has ended up in the other side of the world in less than wholesome hands, a place which may have answers about the mysteries of his abilities, when an unexpected event cuts the connection and his sanity and mortality return. Gaius Atiius Quadratus will not forget this kindness. The MC is based on the monk class of many rpgs, but the story isn't Litrpg. Also he will gain non monk abilities after a while. Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem. A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
