《YOONMIN ¦ before debut》"not a date"

Namjoon's POV:
Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin and Hobi all left just a few hours ago to go to Yoongi's. Meaning, I've been left alone with Jin at the dorms. Nothing new honestly. The others seem to avoid us anyways so we're all the other has. Jin's here for me whenever I need him and I'm there for him. That's just the way we work as a tream. That's just how we've always been. I remember the first time I met Jin... it's as if t were just yesterday...
"Boys, I trust you remember the guy we mentioned a few days ago. The guy that Lee Jaehyun found on the street"
"The one with the handsome face?"
Hobi asks our manager
"Yes, indeed. And although we've said that he'd just be an actor, Bang SiHyuk-nim has decided that we should give him the chance in becoming in idol"
We all look at him with questioning eyes. Confused as to what he's saying.
"Well, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok. Meet your new band mate, Kim Seokjin. He will be a vocalist"
I have to say I was pretty happy bahut having our first vocalist. I mean rapping's great, don't get me wrong. But we did need a vocalist eventually and I was really anticipating it.
A kinda tall (but still shorter than me) guy walks in. He has his hands all folded together and his head hanging low. You can he's very shy and nervous. I find this cute. As he reaches the managers side, our new member looks up. And dare I say, he's more than just handsome. He looks like an angel that has ascended from the heavens just to come and bless us. He looks absolutely perfect.
"Hi, I'm Kim Seokjin. But I just go by Jin"
"It's a pleasure to meet you Jin-Hyung, I'm Hoseok. Or Hobi. Stage name, J-Hope"

Hobi then shakes the older's hand, Yoongi steps forward during the process.
"Min Yoongi. Suga. Nice to meet you Hyung"
It's then my turn. I have to admit, I'm a little nervous. I extend my hand to shake his, and so he does. I lightly blush, mentally cursing myself for doing so.
"I-i'm Kim Namj-joon"
I try to swallow to get rid of my stutter. It works, luckily.
"I go by Rap Monster on stage"
Jin smiles. And let me tell you a bit about this smile
It's small and awkward, yet adorable at the same time. You can just tell how nervous he is. It's so sweet and genuine you can tell he's gonna be the nicest person you've even met. And he is. You look at his smile and your whole world stops. It's on pause, feeeze. Nothing else matters. Just him and his beautiful smile. Just seeing that smile, I know that the people will love him. I know that I already do.
"Hey Namjoon"
I hear a familiar voice call out for me from the kitchen. As an automatic response, I head over to the voice. I find Jin sitting on the counter of the kitchen on his phone. He's just in sweatpants and sweater so I have to admit, though some might think differently, he looked beautiful.
- But you know, in a way a band mate would say to his band mate... yeahh -
"Yeah?"
I say as I actually walk into the room. Jin then looks up from his phone and smiles at me.
"Why don't we go out to eat? Since everyone else's gone with Yoongi, and they're probably gonna eat some sort of takeout, why don't we go?"
I nod and we imidiately head out. None of us caring about the way we look 'cause to Ben honest, I don't think we look all that bad in sweats.

We get into the car, him in the drivers seat 'cause I still haven't gotten my liscence. Even if I did, he wouldn't trust me driving his car.
"So, where do you want to go?"
I look over to Jin, who's giving me his signature smile the always seems to melt my heart.
"Wherever you want"
And then it happens again. That feeling in my stomach that only Jin seems to be able to make happen. That feeling in my stomach that you would originally think is a stomach ache, but it's really just the best feeling. And it's always 'cause of Jin.
- I'm getting cheesy and typical now, aren't I? -
Since I'm so deep into my own thoughts, I didn't even realize we arrived where we were going, until I feel a hand fest itself on my knee
"Joon-ah, we're here"
I look up to find that we're in front of a very fancy restaurant and I know the exact reason why we're here.
"Lobster, really?"
He just smiles and gets out of the car.
- I better follow him -
And you guessed it, that's what I do

Jin's POV:
We've finally gotten a table and now we're just waiting for our waiter to come back and take our orders. Well, I'm ready, Namjoon still choosing. I look over at him to see his face all scrunched up reading the menu. An di would be lying if I said it wasn't the cutest thing I've seen our leader do.
"Do you know what you want?"
I snap out of my thoughts and see Namjoon looking at me.
"Hm, yeah pretty much. Just the lobster with a salad on the side"
He nods and looks back down to the menu.
Eventually, after Namjoon has figured out what to eat, our waiter comes back and takes our orders. Since Joon took forever to choose, I got a little more hungry and added a side of fries to my order. Don't judge, at least I have salad with it.
We got our food and we're just eating silently. Normally it would be a little awkward but I don't mind the silence. It's been pretty stressful and hectic at the dorms lately. We haven't gotten any peace and quiet for a while now. And I'm partially to blame.
I can't help but feel bad. But it's not just me. It's Jimin
I'd say what I have against Jimin, but it's hard to explain. It's just too personal and I just rather not say.
"Do you like the food hyung?"
I see Namjoon looking at me a little concerned.
"Yeah, it's really good. And you don't always have to be all formal and stuff, so you can just drop the hyung"
Clearly I've confused him 'cause his eyes widen as I say that last part
"Really? You keep reminding the others that you're older. But, okay then, Jin"
I smile and he smiles. That always happens. Whenever I smile, no matter the situation, he smiles. I guess it can be great if he were mad at me or something. But I mean, I'm not complaining. It's been quite sometime since I've last seen his genuine smile.
"You should smile more often"
"What do you mean"
He says between small laughs.
"We've both been so miserable lately, you should smile. If you smile, then I know I'll be able to smile"
"But we all know, that it's your smile that makes me smile"
The rest of our night continues with a bunch of this and even more bad attempts at flirting. I mean that's me and Namjoon for you. Just a mix of smiles, laughter and bad flirting.
Well, that used to be what we were.
I'm not too sure what happened...

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
