, it was another day in his office, and as always it was stressing, just like his other office days.
He was a lawyer. Now, i know what you're thinking, why is he in the muggle world? Why didnt he just stay in the wizarding world to be an Auror or something?
Well, when he had Scorpius, he thought it was better for them to live in a much safer city. Even though Voldemort's gone, he didnt want Scorpius to grow up being known as a son of an ex-death eater.
Back to the present, he was currently dealing with a couple that wants a divorce, who are currently arguing about who's gonna keep their child
It was like Merlin heard his prayers, Draco's secretary motioned him that it was time to pick Scorpius up.
Draco nodded. He stood up, "excuse me, i have to pick up my son, i'll see you tommorow"
The couple nodded and said a goodbye and went back to arguing.
Grabing his coat, he walked, his secretary walking him out, "after all that, you still want to get engaged?" asked his secretary, Sam.
He sighed, "those two got married on a crazy romantic whim. It's not like that with Hermione and i.", Draco stopped by the desk to sign off
"none of that crazy romance for you, huh?" Sam teasted
Draco rolled his eyes, "oh, come on. Hermione and i, we understand eachother. We've come a long way", i even called her a mudblood, but that's in the past
He continued in his mind. After signing off, he walked to the door, Sam still following behind him
"have you told your son?"
Draco stopped, "no, i havent. Not yet", he then opened the door, "but i'm going to, tonight. I got him a present to ease him to it."

Sam shook her head, "with news like this, i hope you got him a real dragon egg"
Draco couldn't help but chuckle lightly, if they were still in the wizarding world, he could've really gotten his son a dragon
Hailing a cab, he sat on the back seat and said Scorpius' music school
Scorpius sat beside his father on the backseat. It was silent, Scorpius was looking out of the window, staring at the raindrops as it hits the cab's windows
Draco cleared his throat, making Scorpius look at him
"Scorp, i got you something"
With that, his son's eyes lit up, but that light almost immediately went away when he saw it was another history book
"really dad?"
Draco tilted his head, "come on, dont give me that look. I thought you liked history?"
Scorpius sighed, "dad, i'm eight. Sure i enjoy history, but.." he leaned closer to his father, whispering for the cab's driver not to hear, "but not muggle history"
The older Malfoy shook his head, he leaned his back on the seat. Suddenly, Draco's phone (a muggle device he learned to use), rang.
He smiled and answered it, "hey" he started, it was Hermione, and she was asking if she could bring Scorpius to school tommorow so they could get some bonding time together, "yeah, that would be great, i'm sure he's gonna be hyped. 7:30. Okay, bye."
Scorpius, who was staring at his father the whole time raised his eyebrows, "who was it?"
Draco smiled lightly at his son, "it was Hermione."
"oh" Scorpius said, nodding.
"yeah" Draco said, "Scorp, i'm gonna tell you something"
Scorpius tilted his head, "what is it?"
Draco smiled at him, "i'm going to ask her to marry me"
"what?" Scorpius' eyes widen in shock

"yeah, you like her, dont you?" Draco asked, taking his son's hands in his
Scorpius was disappointed, but for his father, he just smiled, "i guess."
Shuffling his son's hair, Draco smiled lovingly, "it's going to be great, alright? It's not like she's gonna try and be your mother."
"step mother" Scorpius corrected in a mumble
"right, step mother. A nice step mother.", Draco said, "and she's gonna take you to school tommorow morning, alright? You're gonna have some grown up bonding time."
Scorpius furrowed his eyebrows, "i'm only eight"
Draco smiled at him and kissed his head
"you wont always be."

Crying in the rain, that's what Y/N did while she walked and walked.
She was tired. She just wanted to go back home. With all her animal friends, and Fred.
Turning to another corner, her eyes widen as she saw a bright pink castle on top of some store
She smiled, hope filling her. She ran towards it, climbing the ladder, and finally she was infront of the pink double doors
"hello?!" she shouted, then she knocked on the door countless times, "is anybody home!? Fred?! Pip?! Anyone!?"
She knocked and she knocked, calling out names, hoping for someone to open the door
While Y/N was doing that, the Malfoy's cab stopped on a red light right infront of the store
"Dad, why is there a princess on the castle billboard?" asked Scorpius
Draco glanced up from his phone, "probably just an advertisement, a mannequin." he then went back to his phone
Scorpius squinted his eyes, "no, dad, she's really there"
"It's just- Scorpius!", Scorpius removed his seatbelt and opened the cab's door, ignoring his father's calls, "Scorpius! Get back here!" Draco called out, ignoring the mad calls of the cab driver
Scorpius looked up, "princess!" he exclaimed
Draco held onto his son, "dont do that again!"
"look, dad!" Scorpius pointed up to the girl in a big gown
Y/N was still knocking, "Anyone?! Please! I'm looking for prince Fred!"
"Ma'am! Excuse me, lady!?" Draco shouted, taking off his coat to cover Scorpius from the rain
The girl then turned around, her scared eyes met silver ones, she then gasped when she took a wrong step, making her fall
"catch her, dad!" Scorpius exclaimed, his eyes widening
Draco, out of panic, stepped forward, and catching her just in time, but they both fell on the ground, "ouch!" Draco exclaimed, rubbing his arm and standing up, offering a hand to the lady.
She took Draco's hand and stood up, feeling something when their skin touched, "i'm- i'm so sorry! Are you alright?" she asked in worry
Draco ignored her question, "what were you doing up there!?" he exclaimed
"i was looking for some help! You see, i've been wondering around this weird place and no one has really been nice to me." she said sadly
Rubbing his arm, Draco sarcastically said, "yeah, well, welcome to London"
Y/N looked into Draco's eyes, he was the first one to atleast greet her,
"thank you"
