《The Demon King (The Demon King, #1) - Completed》Chapter 19 - Are We Having Sex?

I helped Dimitri up and brought him to the bathroom so he could wash the remaining blood off his face. Once he was done, I handed him a towel. He took it thanking me.
Once he was done, I took the towel and hung it back before turning towards him. I really wanted to know what had happened. But I didn't think he would tell me. I started walking out the bathroom and he followed behind me.
I walked up to his bed and pulled his blankets away. I then turned towards him with a small smile gesturing for him to get in. He took his shirt off, throwing it on the ground beside him before he walked up to me, beside his bed. I moved back and motioned for him to get in. He obliged and slowly got in.
Once he was laying down, I leaned over him and grabbed the blanket, pulling it up over him. I pulled it up to his neck before my eyes looked up and locked with his. I had this sudden urge to lean down and press a kiss to his forehead. I didn't of course. I immediately moved back and took two steps back.
I turned around to leave the room to go get another shirt to wear when I felt Dimitri's warm, strong hand wrap around my wrist, pulling me to a stop. "I know I don't deserve your kindness. But, please stay." He said, not looking up at me.
"I wasn't leaving, Dimitri. I was... just um, I need to change my shirt. It's kind of soaked with your blood." I said, stuttering for some reason. He looked down at the wrist he was holding and saw the blood stained sleeves of my shirt.
"Just take your shirt off." He stated causing my eyes to widen and my cheeks to blush.
"Um..." I was at a loss for words causing Dimitri to chuckle slightly.
"You're wearing a tank top underneath. Aren't you?" He asked and now I felt more embarrassed.
"Right." I said, pulling my wrist away from his hand. I then took my shirt off and put it in the laundry hamper. I picked his shirt up off the ground and threw it in the laundry hamper as well. I could feel Dimitri's eyes on me the whole time, making me feel a little self-conscious.
I went to turn the lights off, leaving the lamp beside Dimitri's side table on, so I could find my way around his huge room. I then walked to the sofa and lay down. "You can turn the lamp off Dimitri." I said, looking at him. He stared back at me for a few seconds before reaching over and turning the lamp off.

It was really dark now. I couldn't see anything at all. It was also really cold and I wished I was in Kenneth's room with a warm blanket. But whatever. "Goodnight, Dimitri." I whispered to him. I waited for a response but got none. Guess he was asleep already.
I closed my eyes, willing sleep to quickly come. But I knew I wasn't going to fall asleep that fast. Especially with how cold it was. It was only going to get colder later on into the night.
Suddenly, I felt two strong and warm hands sliding underneath me, picking me up. I shrieked in fear and surprise as I couldn't see who it was. "Shh, it's just me." I heard Dimitri say causing me to relax a little. Of course it was him. Who would try to enter his bedroom at night? No one.
His hand had slipped underneath my tank top as he picked me up. His hand lay flat against my bare back, causing me to shiver. His other hand held onto my bare legs. "What are you doing?" I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Bringing you to my bed. It's more comfy than this sofa and much more warmer." He said as he brought me to his bed and gently lowered me down.
"No, I can't." I said, sitting up. He got in the bed as well before asking me why.
"Because I'm dating Kenneth. I can't just get into another man's bed when I have a boyfriend." I said, looking in the direction I think he was sitting in, since it was so dark.
"Are we having sex, Isabella?" He suddenly asked causing my eyes to really widen in shock. I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks.
"Are we?" He asked again, when I stayed quiet.
"U-uh, n-no." I stuttered out, so glad it was dark so he couldn't see my tomato red cheeks.
"Exactly so there shouldn't be a problem with you sleeping here." He said before I felt his hands on my shoulders, lowering me down onto the bed. I felt him pull the blanket over me before I felt his warm breath on the side of my cheek. "Goodnight, Isabella." He whispered in a low, husky voice.
"Goodnight." I whispered back as I felt him settle down. I didn't like that we were sharing a blanket too. If Kenneth saw, he'd be pissed. More than pissed. It would be horrible.
I moved as far away from Dimitri as I could and closed my eyes, falling asleep instantly.

I was tied to a chair while I was sobbing. Knelt down in front of me was Dimitri. "I'm sorry Isabella." He whispered as he gently wiped my tears away.
"You can't Dimitri! You can't! You promised!" I exclaimed as I sobbed even more, savouring the feel of his fingers on my skin.
"I know I did." He said as he gently stroked my bottom lip with his fingers. "I'm so sorry, but I have to."
"No you don't!" I cried. "Please Dimitri, we can figure something else out, just don't do this!" His eyes held so much sorrow, pain and defeat that it was hurting me even more.
He grabbed the back of my neck and pressed his lips hard against mine. We desperately kissed each other, savouring each and every second of our last kiss together.
He soon pulled away, causing me to whimper. "Isabella, please stop crying. You're making this hard on me." He said, as he stroked my cheek.
"I'm making this hard on you? Me? You're the one making this hard on me! It'll be easy for you once you're gone! I'm going to be the one who has to live with this for the rest of my life! Not you!" I yelled angrily.
"I'm so sorry Isabella." He said as he placed a kiss on my forehead, my eyes, my cheeks, my nose and finally one last one on my lips. "I love you." He said before he got up and started walking away.
"No! Dimitri come back! Please! You can't do this! Dimitri! I love you!" I yelled after him, sobbing.
***
I gasped as I suddenly woke up. What was that dream? My cheeks were wet from tears. And my lips were tingling as if I had actually kissed him.
"Are you okay?" I heard Dimitri say, and I turned to my right to see him looking down at me with a concerned look on his face.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I whispered, wiping my tears away. "It was just a dream." A really weird and strange dream. It was nothing like the other Dimitri dreams I've had before.
I was confused about what was happening in the dream as well. Why was I crying? What was Dimitri going to do? I loved him and he loved me back?
It was so weird. But then again, it was a dream and dreams are weird like that. "Well, I'm going to go see Kenneth now. He's probably wondering where I've been." I said as I started to slowly get off Dimitri's bed.
As I was getting off, Dimitri grabbed onto my wrist again stopping me, like last night. "Thank you so much for staying with me last night, Isabella. I really appreciate it." He said and I nodded my head at him. Once he let go, I got off his bed and walked down the hallway towards Kenneth's room.
I knocked on his door and he opened the door with a pissed off look on his face. "Oh look, the whore's finally back, isn't she?" He said, before he slammed the door in my face.
I stood outside the door with a shocked look on my face. "Kenneth, what the heck!" I exclaimed as I knocked on his door.
"Leave!" He yelled from the inside.
"Kenneth, open the door!" I yelled, knocking hard. He finally opened the door, giving me the most dirtiest look ever.
"What? Was Dimitri not good enough for you? Is that why you're here?" He yelled at me.
"Kenneth listen to me! There was a reason I slept in Dimitri's room!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah so he could fuck you! I heard him ask you if you wanted to have sex. I went back to my room and waited for you to come back. I knew you were going to. I had so much trust in you. I waited all night, yet you never came! So fucking leave! I don't want to see your ugly ass face ever again!" He yelled before slamming the door in my face again.
"No Kenneth listen! I didn't do it with him! I promise!" I exclaimed.
"I said fucking leave!" He yelled through the door.
I could feel tears prick my eyes. I knew sleeping with him was a bad idea. Even though we didn't do anything.
"Please Kenneth just listen to me!" I exclaimed, knocking on his door again.
He opened the door and looked absolutely furious. He grabbed onto my shoulder and roughly dragged me down the hallway towards Dimitri's room. He then shoved me inside his room, causing me to fall on the ground.
"Have fun with your ugly, disease ridden toy Dimitri!' He spat out in anger.
"Kenneth please!" I cried out as tears fell down my face.
"Don't fucking talk to me, you piece of filth!" He yelled before he slammed the door leaving me there.
