《To Love Gabriel Harris [B×B] ✔》EP 7: JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME

I was in daze but yet my hand held the back of his neck, pulling him closer. Deepening the kiss, I just wanted to have all of him which was something I was afraid of. It was a gentle kind of kiss, but a tinge of desire and hunger within it like it was something both of us unconsciously yearned to do for a long time.
As though realisation hit him, he pushed me away, stumbling backwards slightly.
" Shit! This shouldn't have happened, this is bad..." he mumbled out, placing his palm over his head.
My face twisted in annoyance, I didn't like the sound of his words.
" Then why did you do it?" I wasn't going to let him blame it on me.
His mouth was slightly ajar, unsure of what to reply. His eyebrows were etched together as he paced back and forth.
" A-as an act of pity, yeah that's it. I kissed you to make you feel less shit about yourself because you lost a chance to get laid tonight." He shrugged as though that seemed totally ethical to do.
" Are you kidding me? Thanks for being honest you son of a douche bag!" I threw my hands in the air, I felt like punching him so hard that his perfect nose would get fractured.
My heart begin to feel heavy, I couldn't quite comprehend why.
" News flash Alexander, the kiss made me feel even more depressed! "
He raised his hands in defence, giving me a ridiculous look. " You can't blame me that no one wants you."
That definitely hurt.
I notoced how his face morphed into regret once he digested what he said. Once again, he was left to the point where he was unsure of what to say.
I walked up to him, face to face.
" Do me a favour, Xander...stay the fuck away from my family and I. Got it?" I didn't even bother waiting for a reply.
Shoving him out my way with my shoulder, I headed out of the club, grabbing Tristen along the way. I wanted to stuff my face into a pillow and scream my lungs out. I wanted to cry my self to sleep at the same time for enjoying the kiss in the first place.

Maybe the kiss really didn't mean anything to him...

" Good morning Mum," I planted a kiss on her rosy cheek.
" Morning Gab, you feeling alright? You look like you didn't sleep at all." Her eyes held concern.
" Yeah I'm fine." She placed a plate of pancakes before me, ruffling my hair.
" I got some news! We are invited for Mr Claude's Charity Ball this coming Wednesday, and I need you to get a date." I groaned upon hearing her words.
Before I could argue my way out of attending the ball, Blake yelled out.
" Do ya'll know where Alex is?"
" I didn't see him the whole morning, " Mum answered, tapping her chin thought.
" He didn't return with us yesterday, and all his luggage is missing." Blake began gripping the ends of his hair.
"W-what?" Mum's face fell.
I, on the other hand, was worried if Alexander might have taken my words too seriously. Though I asked him to ' stay away from me ', I didn't mean that he needed to leave the house.
God knows where he is right now?!
" I'm gonna head out..." they were too distracted to even notice me leaving the house.
Why did he leave? Was he seriously that sensitive?
Something in my heart thug towards finding him although it was none of my business.
I got into Kai's Lamborghini, planning to grab a few of my books from campus before going on my search.
As I was about to step on the accelerator, my phone buzzed.
I fumbled around with my phone, hoping that it was Xander. My breath hitched when I saw what an unknown number had sent me.
I bit my fist, muffling the string of curse words that were threatening to spill.
It was a picture of Alexander and I kissing yesterday night in the toliet.
Along with it came a message.
'A new boy toy already? '
I immediately returned a message.
' '
I was surprised by how quick my message was replied.
' '
Who had I ever had something special with? Who the hell is this person?

I threw my phone to the seat beside, I never thought I'll be one to get blackmailed by.
As I neared the campus, my mind was still pondering of who it could be.
Maybe...it was Alexander? I was so ready to bury him alive if were to be him.
After I parked Kai's car, I remain seated-- digesting every bit of my reality. The moment Alex came strolling into my life, the past five days were already an emotional wreck.
Can you imagine how a year would be like? I might as well dig my grave already.
A knock on my window snapped me out of my train of thoughts. I rolled down the windows to come upon cheerful looking Charlotte Barnet, a close friend from my class. I hang out with her in school, and she's really geniunely nice. It was impossible to hate her, I figured.
" You have to come!" She clapped her hands, trying to open the door. I frowned, what could possibly be this exciting on a Sunday morning?
" Trust me, it's worth it!" She grabbed my hand the instant I stepped out of the car.
Pushing past students, we curved around each corner, her long ginger hair smacking my face with each turn.
" Calm yourself Char, what is so---- Kayden?" I halted when I saw him emerge from a crowd of students who gawked at him.
His dark eyes met mine and just that was enough to make all the memories flood back.
" Gabriel Harris you still owe me ice cream!" He yelled over with a grin, I couldn't help but laugh.
" What are you doing here Kay? It's been years!" I embraced him in a long bro hug.
" I just came this morning, my sister has some business to do here." He shrugged, hooking his arm around my neck as we headed out of school.
"No way! So you're gonna get enrolled here?" I almost bit my tongue from all the excitement.
"You're stuck with me for the next 6 months Gabby boy!" He punched me playfully on the shoulder.
We got into the car, I decided to introduce him to mom. Afterall, she didn't really know Kayden.
" Jesus, when was the last time I saw you? Like 4 years ago?" I tried to recollect.
" Yup, that was one hell of a school exchange programme!"
" I missed Australia, remember when you brought me to the beach and when we sneaked out of the camping compound!" I became ecstatic just by talking about it.
" I'll never forget those days man," he shook his head with a chuckle.
College wasn't far from home, hence the trip home was relatively fast.
" Mom, I got a friend over!" I shouted out as we walked in. I heard the sound of her heels near us.
" My my my and who are you?" My mom loved having guests over to delight them with her various dishes.
" G'day Mrs Harris, I'm Kayden Smith." Kayden's words and accent gave away his Australian vibe.
Mom's mouth formed into a 'O' shape upon hearing his name, realising who he was. I tried my best to discreetly signal her a subtle message, but unfortunately she does her best to embarrass me once more.
" Oh you're the boy Gabriel kept talking about after his exchange trip to Australia, right Gabriel?" She glanced over at me, hoping to get approval.
" Yeah, mom I think that's enoug--"
" He wouldn't stop talking about you!" My mom interrupted me once more. Kayden smirked, he loved being the center of attention.
" Interesting.." from the tone of his voice, I knew he would tease me about this for a week at least.
" I'm gonna find Blake, introduce Kayden to him. Come on Kay--"
" How about you go find Blake and I'll have a little chat with Kayden!" Putting my hands up in defence, I left them together but my mom's stopped me once more.
" One more thing, Alexander is back."
