NEW ENDING
>> C h a p t e r T h i r t y o n e
I enclasped my hands with Pietro as I looked him in the eye, the sunlight shining through the curtains of his room as I looked into his eyes.
My next words would seal my fate with both Pietro and the avengers, I would have no choice but to forget the life I could've had in Australia.
"I love you too Pietro." I whispered loud enough for him to hear as I seen his eyes light up and for him to start to smile.
"Thank god." He mumbled as he picked me up and spun me around kissing my cheeks and then pecking my lips softly.
"I thought for a minute there you were going to say nothing." He confessed
"I was but then I couldn't help but let you know."
"God, you're perfect."
"Nobodies perfect Pietro."
"Temptress you're perfect to me."
I gently slapped his chest in a playful manner "stop being so cute."
"I can't help it, when I'm with you I feel like a whole new man."
"Whatever you say lover boy."
"Man! Lover man!" He replied
I laughed at his antics, he still hasn't changed his joking manner, he still was the same immature guy that I fell in love with.
"Whatever you say Pietro."
"So temptress, what shall we do today?"
"I don't know, but I do have one question?"
He raised his eyebrows and gave me a goofy smile "sure."
"Why do you still call me that?"
"Old habits die hard."
I laughed, I guess that was one thing that couldn't be changed.
Little did I know how true his words were.

I suddenly smelt smoke "do you smell that?"
Pietro smiled at me "smell what?"
"I think there's-"
I never got to finish my sentence as the room suddenly filled with smoke and my body flew across the room, everything was dark, my body stinging with pain.
"Pietro?" I whispered as the ringing took over my ears and the world became black.
Speed forward
When I came to I found myself in the tight grasp of Pietro, he was holding me tightly in a new room.
"Pietro?" I shook him awake, his vibrant blue eyes opening starring back at mine. "What happened?" I asked him
"The smell was a gas leak-- someone was trying to kill us, but thank god I was there, I got us out just in time."
a small smile left my lips "I love you."
"I love you too, Temptress, I would do anything for you-- for us."
The door opened and Steve walked in, a worried expression on his face, once he was in the room it filed in with the other Avengers all with the same expression.
"We came as soon as we heard, thank god you are both alright," Steve said
"Barely-- she's got minor burns but I managed to save us just before we could've been ashes like the rest of the building."
I was grateful for him, for everyone I had in my life, I looked at the people in the room, how everyone was around me for support, this was my family, it didn't matter that I was taken from my parents at a young age, that I was turned into a mutant, that I had a dark side that I sometimes couldn't control, all that mattered were the people that I loved and that loved me.

whether it was now or twenty years from now, I know that I will always be loved, that they will always be the Avengers.
I took a peek at Tony who gave me a quick wink, I smiled at him.
"So, what should we have for dinner guys?" Pietro asked
"Pizza"
"What no- let's get sushi."
"Remember that shawarma place? I've been craving tha--"
"-- Maybe we should let Willow decide?" Steve interrupts.
My eyes widen at the arguing avengers in front of me "Okay um... I was thinking about burgers."
Tony smiled "Good thinking-- I could always go for a cheeseburger."
Pietro picked me up bridal style "Really? I think I can walk."
He smiled down at me "Now that I have you, I don't plan on ever letting you go."
He kissed my lips, I couldn't help but smile in the kiss.
This was home-- my home, and I was so grateful for it.
As Pietro whisked me away, i felt happy, this was my fairytale come true, my very own happy ending.
THE END!

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.
