T w o Y e a r s L a t e r . . .
I slowly closed the paperback book and put the book on the towel beside me.
I laid my body on the towel and frowned
750.
That's how many books I've read in the last two years.
I didn't think I'd be so... Lonely.
Fury had kept me updated on Pietro and the rest of the avengers.
They forgot about me thanks to Fury, as much as it hurt I'm glad they won't remember the awful things I've done.
It's been two years since I left, two years since I've used my powers.
I'm glad it was all over.
Pietro's POV
It had felt as if something was missing.
My life was unfulfilled, my glass was still half empty.
"Quicksilver, you almost ready to go?" Steve asked me as he walked into the room.
"Yeah." I nodded my head a little out of it.
"how come every year on this day you've been acting... Down."
I looked at Steve, I don't remember how we met, all I know is that we fought some robot named Ultron together, along with the avengers and my sister.
Since than we have been working together to fight crime and other villains that come our way
But something always felt wrong, maybe it was the fact that vision and my sister seemed to have a thing going on.
But something always felt... Off about this whole situation.
"I look around S.H.I.E.L.D and see nothing but lies, I have felt like something is being hidden from us, from me, and I want to know what."
"I think your just paranoid." Steve replied

"I thought that to at first, but the more I think about it he more I think I'm not."
Steve nodded his head but didn't say a word, which wasn't surprising, I knew Steve felt the same way. Hell, all the avengers felt as if they were missing something.
"I think it's time to ask Fury a few questions."
"I think your right." Steve agreed.
Steve and I made our way through the S.H.I.E.L.D carrier.
We walked around the carrier until we finally found Fury talking to Agent Hill.
Steve and I didn't knock on the door, we made our presence known by Steve speaking.
"Fury, we need to talk."
"I'm busy Captain, come back in a few minutes."
"No. We need to talk now." I said
He looked at the two of us then looked at Maria and nodded his head at her.
She nodded her head in response and left the room leaving Steve and I alone with Fury.
"So what's the problem?" He asked
"What are you hiding from us? We know somethings up."
"We want to remember the past two years..." I added to what Steve said
"Okay, follow me."
Steve and I looked at each other then followed Nick into the room with a a computer and a large screen on the wall.
Fury typed in something an videos popped up.
"Are you sure you'd like to know?"
"Yes." Steve and I replied
Nick nodded his head then pressed a button.
Sokovia... It was about Sokovia, a fight none of us avengers remember.
You could see all of us... But there was a blonde women who was skating around.
"Who is that."
"Just wait a few more minutes."

Then a slide show sort of thing started to play.
Pictures of the girl, with all of us, we all looked happy together.
There was tons of her and Wanda. Steve and her had a few funny ones.
Then there was ones of her and I.
My heart stopped, the pictures of we and I kissing and cuddling on the couch, smiling at each other.
"What is this?" I asked
"Willow Darwin."
"Who was she to us?" I asked
"She was your girlfriend/ex-fiancée." He said to me
"And she was your best friend." He said to Steve
I stopped, the girl must've meant a lot to me considering I was going to marry her.
"What happened to her?" Steve asked
The pictures changed to the girl- Willow wearing dark clothes and black makeup.
Then there was pictures of iced buildings and a few burnt down buildings.
"She went rouge after she had a fight with Pietro, when we captured her she was unstable for anyone to be around, she requested that I make you forget about her."
"She asked you to make us forget? Where is she?" I asked
"Australia."
I nodded my head and started to walk out of the room.
"Where are you going?" Steve asked
"To find Willow."
I didn't remember much about her, I wanted to, but I knew it I talked to Willow again I would remember what has been taken from me.
I wonder if she still thought about me, if she still loved me, if she had already move on.
I wouldn't blame her if she did, but I hope she didn't.
I fell in love with this girl once before, enough to want to marry her, so why not try a second time.
"Are you sure about this Pietro?" Steve asked as we walked to one of the planes on the S.H.I.E.L.D carrier.
I shook my head slowly "no, not at all, but I have faith that when she sees us, she'll be happy."
"And if she's not?"
I stopped walking and looked at Steve with probably the most serious face I could actually pull "then we leave her alone."
Steve shrugged his shoulders "why would she want us to completely forget about her?"
"That's one of the questions I want to find out."
"Just one?"
"I want to meet the girl that I apparently fell in love with."
"And if she's not what you were expecting?"
"I move on, I will let her live her life."
Steve and I walked into the plane and sat down.
Let's begin.
