"Temptress wake up." A calm voice whispered in my ear.
My eyes slowly opened, everything was black for a moment and my eyes adjusted to the new light and Pietro was the first thing I see.
"Are we here?" I asked tiredly while yawning and a stretching my arms.
"Yep." He replied
I looked out the small plane window and saw a bright and sunny outside, we were obviously somewhere tropical.
"Where are we?" I asked
"Bora bora."
My eyes widen, Bora bora was one of the most expensive places to stay.
"How?"
"Another gift from Tony."
I looked at Pietro " why is Tony giving you all these gifts?" I asked
"He felt bad that I was 'dead' and everyone was upset, this was originally going to be for you and Wanda, but when I came back I guess Helen informed Tony who gave me the tickets and told me to take you, I was going to take you anyways."
I nodded and got off the plane with Pietro.
"Thanks J.A.R.V.I.S!" I yelled
"Your welcome miss Darwin."
I smiled as the warm breeze hit me and my blonde hair began to fly in every direction.
Pietro placed his hand around my waist and brush the strands of hair that were in my face.
"I'm glad you are liking where we are."
"Thank you Pietro."
"For what?" He asked raising an eyebrow
"For coming back to me."
Speed forward
We were at the beach now, after twenty minutes driving to the small hut on the ocean we dropped our stuff off and got into or bathing suits and went straight to the beach.

I was sitting on my purple beach towel and was laying under the colourful beach umbrella.
I felt cold wet arms grab and pick me up.
"No! Pietro I don't want to go in!" I yelled as I began running deeper in the water, he smiled at me before throwing me in the ocean.
I resurfaced and looked at Pietro " really?"
He laughed "your so wet for me." He joked
I punched him in the shoulder "Pietro!"
He kept laughing and grabbed my hips pulling me closer. " you love it."
I smiled " I love you"
He kissed me and smiled " I love you too."
It felt good saying and hearing those words, I thought is never get to repeat or hear those words from him ever again.
"I love that you took me here." I stated
"Your gonna love what I have planned for tonight."
"Oh? Is it a belated birthday dinner perhaps?" I asked
He shook his head " nah, it's more of a surprise, nothing related to a belated 20th birthday."
I groaned " more surprises? Can't you just tell me?"
Pietro looked at me and smiled shaking his head " I'm not gonna tell you, your just going to have to wait and see."
"You know I'm not a patient person."
He smiled "I know, but I love that about you."
He looked at me before grabbing my hand
"where are we going?" i asked as he was dragging me out of the water.
"back to our room" he replied as we walked out of the water an towards our towels that were under the umbrella.
i grabbed mine and followed him towards the dock that led to our hut "why?"

he turned to me and smiled before giving me a wink "you'll find out"
"will i like it?"
he laughed "temptress, you will love it."
i laughed with him as was walked on the wood dock looking at our surroundings.
the ocean was so blue and the sun was perfect, the warm weather was complimented by the nice breeze.
"i can't believe we are in Bora Bora"
"well believe it."
"i really have to thank Tony for all this, this must've cost a fortune."
"did you forget? tony is like a billionaire ."
I nodded my head in agreement.
This was like a dream, Pietro and I, together, in bora bora.
I smiled up at him, he looked down and smiled back with a quick wink.
We walked into the hut that was ours and I went into my suitcase.
"So what do you want me to wear?" I asked
He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his body resting his head in the crook of my neck.
"Check the bed."
I turned my head and raised my eyebrow at him while shrugging and walking into the bedroom to see three boxes on the bed.
One was larger than then others, then there was a shoe box, and lastly a small rectangle box that was made for jewelry.
I opened the large box first and gasped.
There was a blue sundress that was short in the front and long in the back, it had a sweetheart neckline and a silver belt.
I opened the shoe box an smiled as I pulled out a sliver pair of pumps.
Then there was a jewelry box, I opened it and felt like crying, there in the box was a diamond necklace, the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
I turned to see Pietro standing in the doorway with a giant smile on his face.
"What's all this for?" I asked through happy tears.
Pietro slowly walked over to me and gently wiped my tears away. "The surprise."
"What are you?"
I didn't finish my sentence as my phone rang, I looked at Pietro wide eyed.
"Answer it." He smiled
I grabbed my phone from the bed stand.
"Hello?"
"Hurry up and get ready, we are all waiting on you." A male voice asked
"Um, who is this?" I asked confused, the voice sounded so familiar.
"Are you serious right now?"
"Um, is this a trick question?"
"It's the guy who's paying for the trip!" The man, who was now identified as Tony Stark said.
"Oh, okay, bye Tony!"
I hung up on him and looked at Pietro.
"Seriously what's going on?"
"Get dressed and you'll find out."
With those words Pietro left the bedroom and I lightly laughed.
Pietro has something big up his sleeve.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
