That night Taehyung fell asleep with an empty stomach as tears threatened to spill from his eyes.
The only sense of comfort he felt was remembering his talk with Jungkook. The way he looked at him-
No.
He shook his head quickly trying to rid himself of those thoughts. He couldn't be thinking those things.
It was the following Sunday when his father barged into his room, disrupting his deep slumber.
"Get up, the youth group starts in an hour." His father barked, leaving the door open before his footsteps could be heard walking away.
Taehyung jumped, startled by the sudden movements, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
He gasped lightly before realizing what his father had said.
Youth group was one of his favorite things to look forward to. They only had them two times a month before church therefore he tried to enjoy every second of it.
It was mainly for teenagers to talk about their experiences and ideals about God. It was fun for Taehyung as they usually played games and chatted.
He quickly got up and dressed for the day, nearly tripping on his way to the kitchen to eat breakfast.

By the time he got to the church a lot of the young boys were already there, making him search the crowd for Jimin.
At last he found him, chatting with a boy from their math class. He quickly walked over, greeting him with a smile.
"Hey."
"Hey Tae. Come sit." Jimin patted the empty seat next to him.
"Alright so for today, we have a guest speaker coming in to talk to you guys. Please be respectful." Taehyung's father spoke to the small crowd.
Taehyung watched as an older male walked up to the podium, shaking his father's hand with a smile.

He had a Bible in his hand as he cleared his throat loudly.
"How is everyone doing this morning? I'm one of the pastors from the town over, some of you may have seen me before." He paused, turning to the side to cough.
Taehyung watched the male with curious eyes, wondering what today's speech would be about.
"Now today, I'm going to be talking to you guys about marriage. Now I'm sure all of you in this room know what marriage is. But some of you may not know some of the details as to how our God wants us to fulfill His wish." He paused, opening his bible to find a specific page.
"Sexual purity is very important going into marriage. If you fail to do so, that is considered a mortal sin. You guys might think 'well we are in love, we can do whatever we want', hate to break it to you but it doesn't work that way. The point is for you to take that love and present it to God for His blessing. Only then can you get married and give yourself in mind, body, and soul."
Taehyung hummed happily, completely agreeing with the pastor. He played with the ring on his finger, feeling quite proud of himself.
"Now that brings me to my next point. Marriage is strictly between a man and a woman. The idea is that they are able to balance each other out. They correspond with each other. God created Eve to be Adam's companion for a reason. A man always needs a woman by his side."
Taehyung sat quietly, suddenly able to hear Jimin's loud breathing from beside him. He slowly turned his head lightly to see his friend staring down at his lap.
He could see Jimin's fists clinging onto the side of the chair, his knuckles were white.

"Leviticus Chapter 20 Verse 13 clearly states that if a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination." His loud voice boomed, getting more aggressive as time went on.
"It's the word of the Lord, anyone that goes against Him is a sinner."
He proceeded to speak for another twenty minutes, eyes wild, almost as if he were angered just by speaking of it.
Taehyung kept stealing glances at Jimin who was so clearly distraught, gulping harshly.
Once the male finally thanked them for listening and retreated from the podium, they were dismissed from the youth group.
In a flash, Jimin was up and out of his seat, ignoring Taehyung's worried calls for him.
Nonetheless Taehyung followed him to the restrooms, rushing in after the boy who didn't look back once.
When he walked in, he searched under the stalls finding only one pair of feet besides his own.
He was about to ask Jimin if he was okay, and if he needed something, when he heard it.
It was barely above a whisper but he repeated it over and over like a mantra.
Like he needed to say it to keep himself in control, or else he would explode.
His voice sounded so utterly broken and vulnerable as it reached Taehyung's ears.
"I'm not crying on Sundays."
