"Alright, does anyone want to share what they drew to the class?"
Taehyung had made the children draw a picture of all the people they loved. He hoped to teach them the art of loving one another like God did.
"Oh, me!" Taehyung smiled as he saw the energetic child raise his hand up high.
"Yes Mark, go ahead."
"I drew my mommy, my daddy, and my dog Cahun!"
"That's amazing Mark! Good job!"
Taehyung looked around at the sea of children, looking at all of their shy faces.
"Anyone else want to share?"
Some were still busy coloring last minute details, making Taehyung smile widely. They were showing effort.
His eyes traveled over to the small boy who sat by himself, everyone around him avoiding him like a plague.
He didn't seem to mind as he sat still, looking down at his drawing with an unreadable expression.
"How about you, Chanyeol. Would you like to share what you drew?" Taehyung watched as the small child slowly looked up at him with a slightly scared expression on his face.
He was quick to smile at the little boy, hoping to encourage him to share.
"What even is that?"
Taehyung frowned lightly as he heard a girl whisper from behind Chanyeol.
"Go ahead." Taehyung warmly smiled at the boy who shyly gave him one back.
"O-Okay. I drew my mommy a-and my brother." He cutely stuttered over his words making Taehyung coo lightly
"Excellent Chanyeol! Your drawing is very beautiful!" Taehyung praised the child.
"T-Thank you." He mumbled.
"Now before we go, I want us all to gather around the rug. We are all going to say the name of someone whom we want God to watch over."
Taehyung began to create a circle around the rug, guiding the children to take each others hands.

"We'll start this way, go ahead."
"Mommy."
"Mommy."
"Daddy."
"Mama."
"Dada."
"Papa."
"My brother."
"Lord we ask you to please keep us all under your protection and that you look over our loved ones. We thank you for the life that you grant us and the love that you send. Amen."
Taehyung let go of the children, opening the door and seeing all of the mothers and fathers waiting outside for their kids.
The church boy watched as the children started leaving with their parents, he frowned as he noticed Chanyeol still standing by the door.
He looked out to see everyone gone with the exception of the sad boy, Taehyung frowned remembering that his mother said she would be here early.
"C'mon baby. Let's go back inside. I can read you a book until your mommy comes." He gently guided the child back inside as he ran to grab a book with Jesus's face on it.
"How about we read this one?" Taehyung sat with his legs crossed in front of Chanyeol on the rug, beginning to read the children's book.
He was on the last page of the book when he heard footsteps nearing the open classroom.
He curiously looked at the door, hoping it was Chanyeol's mother, but became mildly confused when he saw the handsome face of a tall male peaking his head into the room.
He wore all black with a leather jacket over his upper half, ripped jeans adorning his legs as thick black timberlands covered his feet.
His mere presence took Taehyung's breath away. His face became a blushing mess as he watched the handsome stranger begin walking his way.
He didn't bother saying anything to a flabbergasted Taehyung who, embarrassingly lost grip of the book in his hands.

The child's back was towards the boy, making him call out his name, "Chanyeol."
His voice was deep and oh so beautiful. Like music to Taehyung's ears.
"Kookie!" The child gasped as he turned around, running up to hug the male.
Taehyung finally seemed to regain his senses, forcing his wobbly legs to stand up.
"A-And you are?" Taehyung managed to ask as he found the courage to look at the boy in the face.
He tried to appear unaffected, although the strangers intense gaze on his face was making it hard to do so.
"I'm his brother." Was all he said as he subtly looked at Taehyung's body up and down.
The latter failed to notice.
Taehyung wasn't sure if he should let Chanyeol go with the male. Sure, he recognized him and ran to him but it didn't fail to make him hesitant to let the boy leave.
He would never forgive himself if something bad happened to Chanyeol.
It was when Chanyeol began telling 'Kookie' about his drawing that Taehyung became convinced that the boy was safe.
"M-My name is Taehyung. You may know my father he's-"
"-The pastor, yes. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to go."
Was all he said before he turned around, dragging the child along, leaving Taehyung pouting at his horrible attitude.
