"Alex, this is HUGE! How are you going to survive being in the same room as them? How are you going to keep yourself from drooling? What clothes are you packing? When do you leave? Do you think Namjoon would give you his autograph for me?"

"Mom! Slow down! I can only answer one question at a time" Alex laughed as her mom shot questions at her like a machine gun.

"I can't help it, I must live vicariously through you since I don't get to go. Seriously though, how are you not dying right now?"

Alex still hadn't let the reality of everything hit her. She was waiting until she saw BTS. Then it would be real. "I'm not sure, I guess I'm trying not to think about it, I'm more worried about packing at this point." A small white lie.

"I want you to send me pics of everything you have picked out so I can critique." Alex's mom had style so she was more than willing to oblige her. She always gave the best advice.

"OK, I gotta hop off the phone. I'll send pics soon!" Alex ended the call and stared at her closet like a lost child. There was so much to choose from, yet she had worn everything already. Meeting BTS was a bucket list item. This required a new wardrobe.

She grabbed her purse and headed out to her favorite store. Her style ran mostly classic and simple. Black and white dominated her wardrobe, with the occasional color pop. Mix and match pieces were always her go-to, especially because it stretched her budget further. Her outfits ranged from corporate casual to a tasteful club bimbo, depending on the occasion. As a last minute decision she decided to grab some new lingerie. Hey, a girl can dream right? She took her selections up to the register. When the clerk told her the total her mouth dropped.

"That many zeroes for scraps of lace?!" Her bank account wanted to shoot her.

Alex took her new purchases home and began setting out different pieces to make outfits. She took pictures along the way to send to her mom. After surveying her loot, and decided all the extra zeroes were worth it. She was going to rock every bit of it.

Once her items were carefully stored in her suitcase, Alex sat down to start outlining in her interview journal. She didn't just want to ask the typical questions everyone else already asked. She didn't make it this far in her career by being cookie cutter. She would ask the questions that lead to deeper answers and emotions. The personal stuff that ARMY craved, but were rarely given. This wasn't just a one time interview, this would be a year of interaction with BTS. Informal settings with first hand accounts of their every day happenings. It was going to be like In The Soop and Bon Voyage, but on steroids. She wanted to do right by ARMY and BTS. She was determined to make this one of the greatest documentaries ever made, award worthy.

She finally closed her journal after finalizing her notes. She looked at the clock, 12:00 am. In 48 hours she would be on a plane to Seoul. The beginning of the greatest journey she would ever take in her life. How was she going to sleep till then?
