-?
Your eyes slowly opened, the fatigue running through your body as your head throbbed, hair falling out of your eyes.
Your muscles ached, legs feeling numb and your insides feeling warm, you remember passing out. And hearing some voices. But you don't remember anything before passing out.
"Oh, she's awake."
Says an weirdly familiar voice as your eyes struggled to make out the blue of colors before you. Your vision seemed to focus on some pink and white lines,
Your eyes slowly regaining their regular composure.
"Hey, are you okay?"
Asked the same voice from seconds earlier, a hand, er..paw waving in front of your face, someone with a mask on waving down at you.
"Hmn.. who are you?"
You asked curiously, forcing your arms to work and help you sit up, your body having a shock of pain as you hissed and quickly layed back down.
"You..don't remember me?"
He asked, a hint of concern and confusion in his tone as he spoke to you.
"Remember you? I don't know who you are..?"
You said, even more confusion then he had brimming your voice, your lips coming back together as you finished that's statement, it seeming to have highly disturbed the masked specimen before you.
He suddenly swapped his mask from one of disappointment to one of pure annoyance, the drawn on eyebrows tilting downwards as he apparently scowled.
"Popee! What did you do?!"
He suddenly bursted out, Turing to a taller male beside him, the male backign up defensively and glaring down at the animal.
"Hey, hey! I never do anything wrong. It was her fault for stealing attention!"
Barked back a more venomous voice, this person kind of sounding like your average brat when you decline them the hottest new toy.

When you finally saw him, you almost gasped.
He was horrendously familiar.
He had a pink and white striped outfit, and a baby pink bunny hat strapped around his head, his obnoxiously blonde bangs peeking out from over the hood.
He had blue eyes also, oh wow. What a shocker.
To tie it all together, he had your average teal bag wrapped around his torso and a scowl coating his face.
Was he why you were feeling so tired?
"Hey can you guys..say your names? Real quick?"
You asked hazily, wanting to know the two peculiar boys names before you zoned out and ended up falling asleep again.
They finally stopped their banter and turned to face you again, the one with the mask gruntinf and clearing his throat, as if he were a nervous kid introducing himself to a new school for the first time.
"My name is Kedamono, it's nice to meet you...again?"
He said, questioning his own statement and scratching the side of his mask.
He stepped back, allowing the bratty sounding boy to introduce himself, his eyes just boring down into yours. He seems like he's really focused.
"I'm Popee the performer! Don't you ever forget my name, if you do. I'll kill you again!"
He shouted, making your eye twitch and your head flinch backwards as he screamed that to you. His dignified smirk told you all you needed to know about the loud boy.
"Right.."
Mumbled Kedamono nervously, staring at the sand below as he came toward you again, looking down at you and smiling.
"Well if you ever need anything, I'm here? K?.."
He said hesitantly, being very wary as the boy beside him placed his hands on his hips, tapping his foot impatiently and pretending to look at his non-existent watch.
"Thank you."
You said back, not knowing what else would be appropriate to say to a proposal like that.
"Anytime. "

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.

Sol-int
Logical consciousness before birth ,however impossible with the udder lack of brain cells was quite the gift. One could see it as a curse, stuck alone in a dark and near silent womb for months with little need for rest. Phycological torture for those who couldn't grapple with the thought of such a miraculous time. After all if such awareness was available before the proper Brain matter was grown them how would one gain consciousness? Well there is only one simple and miraculous word to describe it. Magic. Whether it was a highly organized magic system, a chaotic mash of dark arts, or some divine intervention it could be considered to be magic non the less. And magic? Well one had plenty of time in the womb to discover and train it. And that was exactly what one would do if they found themselves in such a situation! Thanks to WifuLabs for the cover.
