《Hockey Imagines》André Burakovsky ~ WC

"Hi Mrs. Burakovsky! How was London?" Priya joked, sitting down in her club seat next to mine.

"It was amazing! How were Latts and Willy?" I smiled, looking down at the ring periodically.

"You know, the usual. There was one day where they were about to drop the gloves in the kitchen and I had to call Kuznetsov... Unfortunately, he caused a food fight between them that I got so furious, they had to clean the kitchen up themselves without asking me for help." Priya smirked at my nervousness. "You're nervous because this is your first time supporting André as his wife, aren't you?"

"Yeah, how did you feel when you were at your first game supporting Michael as his wife?"

"Well, I was nervous, like you're feeling right now, especially since it was against his former team. But I knew he could do it and he actually won."

"Well, it's just that the Caps are playing against the Kings tonight, so I'm really torn whether to root for my hometown team or my husband's team."

"I literally feel you on that when they're playing Minnesota. It's so tough to see your hometown team or husband suffer the pain."

We just continued to talk for the next few minutes until the lights went out and the game had started. Backstrom won the faceoff, passing the puck to TJ Oshie, who then passed it back to Nate Schmidt; who slapshot the puck past Jonathan Quick and scored the first goal of the game.

She and I respectfully clapped our hands quietly, before we sat back down and watched the rest of it. Eventually, they both tied 4-4 and were headed into the shootout. For the Capitals, only Michael Latta and Evgeny Kuznetsov had scored while for the Kings, Tanner Pearson, Tyler Toffoli, and Dustin Brown had scored. It was currently Tom's turn and he shot the puck past the goalie and into the net, making the crowd go wild.

Milan Lucic was up next on the spot, but unfortunately had his shot saved by Holtby. And finally, it was the man of the hour's turn, André Burakovsky. He skated up to Quick, creating a fake-out before he tipped in the puck, getting the game-winning goal!

"AND ANDRÉ BURAKOVSKY HAS SCORED THE GAME-WINNING GOAL FOR THE WASHINGTON CAPITALS!" The announcer's voice boomed through the speakers, and we looked down at the ice. He skated to the section I was sitting at, patting his heart before he blew me a kiss and winked.

I caught the kiss and blew him a kiss back. The first star of the night was André, followed by Tanner and Michael.

I went down to the locker room with Priya, congratulating the boys and we basically saw them singing a mashup of "Hello" by Adele and "Sorry" by Justin Bieber.

"Congrats on your win, honey!" I squealed, jumping into André's arms, kissing his cheeks multiple times.

"Thank you, sweetheart. You were in my heart and you gave me the courage to win this game tonight in your attendance." André kissed my lips before Tom interrupted.

"Oh my god, Kuznetsov, close your eyes!" Willy playfully covered Evgeny's eyes, before he uncovered them.

"Shut up, Willy." André and I yelled in unison, aweing at our cute couple moment.

"I love you, André Burakovsky."

"And I love you, Kylie Burakovsky." André smiled, showing his adorable dimples before he gave me a kiss.
