"Beau Bennett, don't even come near me! You got that game against the Wild coming up!" I tried to shoo him out of the room, but he refused to.
"Hey, we promised to be together through sickness and in health..." Beau smiled and I rolled my eyes.
"Stop reciting things from our wedding..." I mumbled before I started to cough once more.
Beau grabbed something from the paper bag and went to the kitchen downstairs. He came back with the bottle of cough syrup, water, and a spoon for the syrup. He sat down on his side of the bed, carefully getting syrup onto the spoon before he faced me.
I shook my head, not wanting to taste the aftertaste of the nasty medicine before Beau gave me a stern look.
"I got the one that tastes like chocolate though, Y/N..." Beau pleaded for me to drink the so-called 'chocolate cough syrup'.
I drank it before I made a disgusted face and asked Beau for the glass of water.
"Bennett, that was not chocolate flavored!" I groaned, facing away from him.
"You're right, I'm sorry for tricking you.. It was grape flavored." Beau sighed before he kissed my temple.
I ignored him, deciding to go on my phone and play with it, giving him a little silent treatment. I scrolled through Instagram and Twitter before I found a picture on Beau's Instagram of me scrolling through my phone.
I turned around to face him, "Did you just take a picture of me and post it on Instagram?"
"I have no idea about what you're talking about..."
"Don't lie to me, mister..." I gave him a kiss on the cheek before I started to tickle him.
He squealed, pleading for me to stop but I refused. I finally stopped tickling him after 10 minutes and we were just cuddling.
"Do you want to watch a movie and cuddle?" Beau asked, before I mumbled a yes as my face was laying on his chest.
He put on Jurassic World, snuggling into the crook of my neck. I cuddled more into his chest, listening to his soothing heartbeat, slowly falling asleep.
"Hey Beau, can I borrow-Woah here..." Sid barged into the room at the scene of Beau and I falling asleep.
