《♡~Garrence One Shots~♡》If I Can't Have You

I sighed and looked around my room, bored out of my mind. I had been doodling around in my notebook all day. Heck, I haven't even been paying attention to what I was drawing. I looked down at my paper and my cheeks burned bright red. It looked exactly like Laurence...
Crap....
"Chug! Chug! Chug!"
People around me chanted over and over again, motivating me even more as I swallowed down shot after shot.
Finally, the last of the fiery, burning liquid slid down my throat. I slammed the empty glass down onto the counter with a thump, and cheers erupted throughout the room. I let out a satisfied sigh and looked around for a certain person.
My eyes finally landed on a certain blonde. He flashed me a smirk that just read 'God, you're so stupid...'
My heart fluttered and I smiled back. Suddenly, pain surged through my head. I clutched it and rested my elbows on the countertop.
I already regret this...
All that could be heard throughout the house was chatter and laughter. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, except for me. Tears stung at the corners of my eyes, but no one noticed. I couldn't stop staring at Garroth, standing across the room talking with Kim. He had a large grin on his face, and his cheeks were tinted a light pink.
I knew he liked her... It was so obvious...
My heart was shattered into millions of pieces seeing him so happy with her. I didn't know what to do.. Other than stare and cry.
Irene, I'm so worthless...
I sighed as I placed my final shirt in the drawer, finally done with unpacking. I walked over to the mirror in my room and peered outside. Below was a beach with gorgeous blue water. People and umbrellas were sprinkled across it. Everyone seemed so happy. A soft smile formed on my lips.

Laurence would love Starlight...
Ding!
I sighed and rolled over, snatching my phone off my bedside table. I looked at the screen to see who it was.
I smiled and opened the text message.
Hey, you up?
Yeah. How was your day?
Eh, it was alright. We went to the beach and stuff, but I wish you were there 🙃
My heart fluttered and I smiled, my cheeks heating up.
I wish I was there too
I bit my lip in thought for a moment. Should I...?
I wish I was there too ❤
I shut off my phone and pressed it to my chest, heart pounding.
Hey, Gar, you up?
Gar?
Garroth
You're probably asleep..
Talk to you in the morning
Gar?
Garroth, are you there?
Gar... I saw everything on the news...
I hope you're safe...
......
I love you...
Gar... I saw everything on the news...
I hope you're safe...
......
I love you...
My heart stopped. He... he loved me? My cheeks burned a bright red, and my stomach churned. I missed him so much... I brought my thumbs to the screen and began to type.
I'm coming back home...
Also.... I love you too
I paced back and forth impatiently, waiting for him to walk through the door. My heart was pounding against my chest in fear and excitement. Finally, I'd be able to hold him. I'd be able to tell him how much he means to me... I might even be able to kiss him...
Suddenly, I heard the door creak open. My head snapped up and my eyes met with a gorgeous shade of ocean blue. The two of us stood still, staring at each other in silence for a few moments before I ran towards him and wrapped my arms around him. I buried my face into his shoulder as tears began to fog my vision. I felt him wrap his arms around me, and he pressed his lips into the side of my head before resting his head in the crook of my neck.

Living With Magic
Arthur, a young magician, is struggling with crippling social anxiety. The issue has reached a point where he likely won't graduate from University. Reaching a crossroads, he must decide whether to try and return to a family he despises or make his own path in the world. Is the magical power he has actually beneficial in the real world? Authors Note: I'm terrible at writing a synopsis, but over time I hope to write a better one. One of my favorite series of books is the Magicians by Lev Grossman and I hope to follow that same line of thinking within my story. How would a society built around magic actually exist and is power and magic actually as great as other stories make it out to be? The story and characters will be completely original and I will try to update the story on a regular basis. Also, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ark runs a small alchemy store in the central kingdom of Unitos with his sister, Armi, who makes sure her brother doesn’t blow up the entire kingdom with his constant ingredient mixing or accidentally insult the heroes summoned from another world. Ark just wants to go home and sleep his problems away until the universe ends or his sister kicks him out of bed. Either way, he’s totally not the main character or anything… *Originally written on wattpad but I decided to move it here now that I have better writing skills.
