《Tricia Robredo x Y/N (Oneshots)》Time Check

You toss and turn, you spare a look at the watch on your wrist only to see that you haven't been awake for a few minutes, but for two hours now.
12:48 AM
You sigh, running a hand across your face. Your heart hasn't known peace and calm for two straight days, and you're pretty sure that your blood pressure is now sky high. You toss and turn and drown in your thoughts and the next time you gaze at your watch, you decide that it's no use trying to sleep.
1:24 AM
You sit up and sigh before standing and gathering your blanket and the two pillows you were given. You start walking towards the stairs and carefully make your way up, making sure that the pillows nor the blankets do not touch or knock anything over.
You reach her door, and with great effort you shuffle all the carried items under one arm before you reach for the knob. You hesitate. "What if I wake her up?" "She's a doctor she needs her rest." "I'm just over thinking things."
Your grip starts to loosen on the items and you decide that you'll atleast just leave them in her room, and so you turn the handle and quietly step inside. You spot the study table complete with a chair, and you place the blanket and pillows on the office chair. You take a moment to look around.
The room is dark, and the moonlight is all there is to guide your vision. The air is quiet as your girlfriend has opted to keep the fan off and keep her window open. It's the room she's had since she was a kid, and although the bookshelves are now filled with medical books- Sometimes you spot a rogue novel.

Rick Riordan, Marie Lu, Dr. Seuss, Tolkien-
Its a random mess and it puts a smile on your face. "No matter there's so many thoughts in that head of hers." You smile to yourself. There's a solved Rubik's cube on the nightstand beside her night light. Your eye catches the red LED of the digital clock and the time makes your eyebrows furrow in worry.
1:46 AM
The tiny peace and fondness that was in your heart dissipates. You shouldn't be here, she's got a shift tomorrow and it wouldn't be a good thing if you accidentally wake her up before her alarm does. So you cautiously make your way back to her bedroom door, placing a hand on the knob before casting one more look around the room.
You eyes finally settle at the girl sleeping soundly under her blanket, and you strain your eyes to take in the details of her peaceful face. It's a peaceful night, with your thoughts being the only thing that's turbulent within the home of your girlfriend's family. How they can sleep properly despite the turmoil overtaking those who cry out for justice and fairness? You don't know, but you sure would like to do so as well.
2:00 AM
You shakily let out a breath you didn't even know you were holding. You standing around isn't helping calm your thoughts, and as it gets later and later into the early morning hours- You risk waking your girlfriend up at more perilous hours the longer you stay in her room. So you turn your attention back to the door, and start turning the handle with as much silence as you can.
The door opens with a small click. Your shoulders tense for a bit, but you're pretty sure that it was audible only to you so you slightly open the door before squeezing your body through as soon as you could. You're halfway out of the room when a raspy voice calls out and you find yourself frozen in place.

"Mahal?"
The room is bathed in a soft orange glow as Tricia turns on hee nightlight. You turn your head to face her, and she's rubbing the sleep out of her eyes before she meets your sheepish gaze with her confused one.
"Anong nangyari?" She takes in your position at the door before she continues. The drowsy woman moves her blanket out of the way before propping herself up on her elbows to gain a better view of you. "Palabas ka? Bakit?"
You're caught in the act anyways so you figure that you might as well come clean. With a sigh, you move back inside the room and shut the door behind you- But not before contemplating if you could somehow convince Tricia that she was dreaming and go on your merry room escape. You decide not to try your chances with the outrageous scheme.
"Doktora yang kaharap mo, hindi mangmang."
You lean against the door and meet confused eyes. A shy smile makes its way to your lips. "Di kasi ako makatulog, kaya binalik ko na lang ung kumot at mga unan." Brown eyes narrow in concerned suspicion before her voice fills your ears.
"Anong nasa isip mo?"
Your surprised expression makes her laugh a bit, and she adjusts her place on the bed before lying back down and pulling her blanket up and motioning for you to join her. "Three years Mahal, siyempre kilala na kita noh.."
All you can do is smile before moving to take your offered place on the bed. Tricia offers her arm as a pillow, and you make youself comfortable. Placing your hand on her collarbone and your head on her arm. She smiles down at you and places a swift but gentle kiss on your lips before reaching over to turn the light off.
Tricia settles down into bed with you. A hand goes over your waist, a hand slithers into your hair, and your legs tangle together comfortably. She starts stroking your hair before restating her question in a soft tone. "Anong nasa isip mo?"
2:28 AM
A tired and heavy sigh escapes you and you pull Tricia closer to your body in anxiousness. "The numbers don't make sense..."
She only hums, whether she does so out of agreement or of finally realising what's got you awake so late- You don't know. But she breathes deeply, as if tired and trying to catch her breath.
"It really doesn't, pero wala pang official counting. Kaya tiwala lang muna sa mga tumindig sa tabi natin ha?"
Your eyebrow furrows and you hug her closer, Tricia senses the anger and disappointment about to roll off of you in waves so she presses her lips to the crown of your head before speaking.
"Tomorrow. You have every right na magalit, na magtanong, magdemanda ng sagot- Pero para sa ngayon, pahinga ka muna Mahal ko."
Tricia presses a kiss to your head, and she starts massaging your scalp. You'd say you hate how she knows all your weaknesses and soft spots, but then again she takes extremely good care of you that it feels impossible to be exasperated over that.
Your eyes catch a view of the watch on your wrist as your eyelids start to close.
"Love you Mahal, see you later.."
