"Yah! Jimin, don't scare me like that!"
"I-I'm sorry."
"Seriously! That's not funny, you have no idea how scared I was," I scolded my hyung.
He scratched his newly dyed black hair and stared at the ground," I didn't mean for you to get so scared. I just saw you at the café and wanted to talk to you. So I followed you...I'm sorry."
I couldn't help but feel that maybe it wasn't entirely his fault, have I been too rough?
"Just...don't do it again."
"Okay."
"I'm serious."
"I understand."

We walked to my house together and I enjoyed the quiet. I enjoyed Jimin's presence and protective feeling as he walked next to me. Even if he made me carry some of his bags. I was no longer scared, since the person I was scared of turned out to be my first love, the one I thought I had to leave behind forever.
Do I fall in love too easily? Probably. I answered my own question.
We kept walking in silence for a few more minutes until we reached my two-story house. "We're here," I told him as we stood in my front yard. We walked toward the front porch when I suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong?" Jimin asked, looking back at me.
I didn't answer.
"Hey..."
"I forgot."
"Forgot what?" Dumbfounded Jimin asked.
"To ask my mom if you could stay."
"Oh. Well, its fine. She's very understanding and generous. I'm sure she'll let me stay if we ask correctly. Right?"
"Mm," I smiled.
"Oh, Jung-" my mom started when I came through the door with a friend.
"Hi mom, Jimin's going to be staying here for a while. Is that fine?"

"Oh! Jimin, you dyed your hair!" My mom engaged in conversation with the boy we spent most of our time with in Japan.
"Yes, I did," he shyly smiled and answered.
"It looks very good on you," she petted Jimin. He nervously giggled.
"So...I'm guessing its fine?" I interrupted.
"Oh yes! If its you, Jimin, you can stay as long as you want!" She smiled.
"Thank you, Mrs.Jeon, but its only until I find some other place. I'm only staying for a couple of months." He briefly bowed.
"At the least I hope."
"Well, I'm going to help him get his stuff upstairs," I said as we made our way up the stairs,"call us when lunch is ready."
"Oh~ in your room, I presume," she have me a sly smile. Ho ho ho~
"I-its not like that- cmon' Jimin."
"Thank you again, Mrs. Jeon," he turned and said. I showed him my room which I fortunately cleaned the day before and told him where to set his stuff down.
"I see your mom is the same as ever," Jimin chuckled.
"Don't worry about her, she flirts with anything under 20."
"Ah, is that so..."
"Yup. What do you want to do..." I asked while fixing the things on my drawing desk.
"What is there to do," he sat on my bed.
"Well, I've got games, movies, books....sketchbooks," I made a mental list while counting on my fingers.
"Hmmm," he looked at the ceiling.
"But- if you don't want to do that we can just talk." I assured him.
"In that case, let's talk," he lied down on his stomach and looked at me with curious eyes.

"W-what?" I felt my face getting red and i observed our situation. A guy was in my room. No, not any guy, my first love. And he was lying in my bed. The door was locked, which I hadn't noticed before. Nobody else was home but my mom who was currently making us an early lunch. We had the whole day to ourselves. And it was a Friday. I wouldn't see any classmates for the rest of the week, which means I'd spend it all with Jimin, who doesn't know Korea very well...
"Hey... Jungkook."
"Y-yes," I said realizing I've been standing there without answering for god knows how long.
"Can I ask a question?" His tone grew more serious, and his face looked worried and pitiful.
I gulped,"Yes. Of course."
"Why..." He hesitated as he looked away,"why were you so scared when I... got on top of you?" He mumbled that last part. I blushed, and noticed he was red as well.
"I...it wasn't because of you."
"Then... what? What did I do to make you cry? What did I do to make you so scared?" He looked like he was shrinking and sat up on my bed. I sat next to him, to talk to and hear him better.
"Its just... you reminded me...of something that happened a long time ago. And I couldn't help it. I'm sorry if I made you feel like you did something wrong."
"Its fine. I was just a little shocked," he smiled," I've never seen you cry."
As we met eyes for a second, I quickly looked away. The atmosphere turned awkward and quiet until he decided to say something.
"Will you tell me what I reminded you of?" His voice was nice and soft, understanding.
When he realized I was feeling a little uncomfortable he assured me," You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"No." My voice grew louder than his,"Its time I told someone. Someone else."
Jimin shifted positions so as to look at me better as I recalled one of my darkest and most painful memories.
"It was when I was in 7th grade. At the time, I had an abusive father. A stepfather, actually. He would drink as soon as he got home and never helped around the house. He'd criticize my mom's cooking and basically everything we'd do. No matter what, we were always wrong. And he was always right."
Jimin looked as if he was already feeling sorry for me, and I didn't even get to the worst part.
I sighed."So one day, I came home from school. My mom was out shopping. Possibly just buying more beer for that man who we both know was the biggest mistake she's ever made. He was already drunk when I came home from a friends house..."
