'Puzzle pieces' is a book about Jasmine Grant, a normal girl from New York. One day, she gets new neighbours. Dylan Ford, the new neighbours' son, befriends her quickly. However, Jasmine is caught up in some shady business for a Maxen Knight. Can she keep this a secret from Dylan?
When I started reading, I was bored. It all started so slow, so uninterestingly cliché. I didn't know if I could handle 18 chapters of it.
But then, this changed. A sudden plot twist reveals that Jasmine has to work for Knight. From that point on, the story is less slow and starts getting interesting.
The characters are good, only Mr. Knight strikes me as unconvincing at times. Too evil and heartless. The rest are fine.
The GPS is just fine, don't worry about it.
There's also something about the whole Maxen Knight thing I'd like to adress. I couldn't figure out why Jasmine was working for him. Maybe I overlooked something, maybe it's not supposed to be revealed yet, but it comes sudden and it's rather confusing. A little more explanation would be nice.
A slow start, but it gets better. Overall, a nice story to pass some time with.
