"Hola mami ya llegue." She entered her mom's room and sat on the chair next to her bed.

English translation: (Hey mom I'm back.)

"Como te fue?" Her mom asked while she knitted a brown scarf.

English translation: (How did it go?)

"Bien mama los dos llegamos tarde nomas que yo llegue mas tarde que el." Alejandra laughed at the thought both of them were late to their first date.

English translation: (Good mom both of us were late it's just that I was even more late than he was.)

"Mmm tal para cual." Her mom said knitting. "Si y ... oh um que mas platicamos?" Alejandra was about to spill the fact that she told him she was groomed and that he was nice about it. The problem was not even her mom knew about what happened that night and how unstable she was. She didn't go into the details with Matthew she only scratched the surface of it.

Alejandra- (Yeah and ... oh um what else did we talk about?)

She felt her ears heat up and something sink down her stomach. She quickly made something up "Me invito a salir otra vez pero esta vez a cenar con el el miércoles."

English translation: (He invited me on another date but this time to diner on Wednesday.)

"Que bien hija me da gusto que te este yendo bien con este muchacho." her mom said he eyes focused on her knitting but her heart with her daughter.

English translation: (That's good sweetheart I'm glad to know that everything is going well with this young man.)

"Bueno ma me voy a bañar." Alejandra got up and left to take a shower.

English translation: (Alright mom I'm going to go take shower.)

After taking a shower Alejandra went to her shared room and laid on her bed scrolling through her phone when her sister spoke up "So how was it?"

Alejandra smiled at her sister "Good he asked me out for diner on Wednesday so that's that."

Her sister frowned "If you don't trust me enough to tell me just tell me you don't want to talk about it and I won't ask as a matter of fact I'll completely forget I knew about him."

Alejandra rolled on her bed to sit up and look at her sister "Nana it's not that it's just... I'm a little shy and your 14 I shouldn't be telling you these things."

Diana narrowed her eyes piercing into hers and spat "You shouldn't have a problem with age given that he is 13 years older than you." She crossed her arms.

Alejandra scoffed and her face expressed pain and betrayal "Really? Was that necessary?" Diana's own words hit her and noticed she went too far "I'm sorry."

Alejandra pushed down her tears and swallowed her guilt. "It's fine." they sat in silence "You want to know where he asked me for diner on Wednesday?"

Diana got up from her bed and leaped tackling her sister pushing both of them to Alejandra's bed "Where?" her sister said snuggling into Alejandra.

Alejandra Caressed and patted her sister's head "He invited me to his house to eat with his son." Diana snapped her head up hitting Alejandra on the chin. "Urgh" both of them said followed by laughter.

"He invited you over to his house to have diner with his son?" Diana confirmed to make sure and Alejandra nodded with a big dumb smile on her face.

"His son's name is Sam and he's the cutest 4 year old ever. He has red hair and blue eyes. OH and an adorable smile! He is so nice and sweet." Alejandra ran on about the little boy.

Diana retorted with a laugh "Woah hold your horses you sound like your in love with the son and not the father." Alejandra burst out laughing at her comments.

"NO!" She kept laughing "I just met him on Saturday by coincidence." Diana jumped "YOU ALREADY MET-" Alejandra slapped her hand to Diana's mouth muffling what she said "HIS SON."

Alejandra frowned and shushed her "Yeah I met him and yesterday when we were in the phone Matthew told me that Sam said I was pretty and he asked Matt if I was going to be his mom." She squealed in happiness meanwhile Diana sat on the bed with her mouth hanging open in shock.

"What? He asked if you were going to be his mom?" Diana whispered. Alejandra smiled and nodded her head "He likes me Nana and that's what I hoped for if I want to be with Matt I was hoping Sam would accept me and he did. He saw us kissing and drew up his conclusions."

"Woah Ale." Diana said "But that's not all. Matt officially asked me to be his girlfriend on Saturday when we ran into each other at the park." Scooting closer to Alejandra Diana asked "And???"

Alejandra smiled "I said yes." Diana's eyes gaped at her "You just met on Friday, he asked you to be his girlfriend on Saturday, and today Sunday was your first date and he asked you over to his house for diner on Wednesday with his son. Don't you think this is all going a little fast?"

Alejandra smirked and raised her eyebrows up and down "You also don't know we made out when we first met each other." Diana raised her hands in the air "Really Ale?"

Alejandra shrugged her shoulders and said "Nana, It just feels right." Diana noticed her sister's happiness and was happy for her she was old enough to know what she was doing "Alright Ale I'll keep this between us."

Alejandra hugged her sister "Thank you Nana."
