I woke up on a sofa.
I frowned as I looked around the empty apartment which I hand never seen before. I didn't let panic take over as I quietly stood up. The floor was cold against my bare feet.
I walked towards the window and looked out to see snow falling. A white blanket was covering cars, roads, trees. I couldn't help but admire the sight and it's beauty. I smiled as I watched the snowflakes land in different places.
A phone starting ringing and I jumped from the sudden noise. I spun around to try and see where the sound was coming from. I edged forward before freezing.
Noise
Sound.
I could hear it. The loud ringing noise that I instantly recognised even though I can't remember hearing it before. I swallowed my fear and continued forward. I scanned the room and my eyes landed on the red phone in the corner of the room. I took a deep breath and moved towards it but someone got there before me.
Taehyung hadn't recognised my presence as he picked up the call.
"Hello?"
I felt my stomach flip. I could hear him, I could see him. I tried not to collapse to the floor in shock and instead stood watching Taehyung talk.
"How far away are you?"
I couldn't remember who "you" might've been.
"Five minutes?! The flats a mess oh my god. Okay okay."
I looked around the room which seemed relatively clean except for the odd sock sitting in the corner.
"I'll see you soon, bye."
He hung and and spun around. His eyes widen as he saw me and we both just stood staring at each other.
A long two minutes passed before Taehyung spoke up. "Jungkook." The way his lips moved as he spoke my name was mesmerising. I tilted my head in response. I could see that he was tense, nervous, yet I didn't know why.

"Are you hungry?" Despite the question being so ordinary, it felt strange. I nodded after a moment of hesitation. He smiled slightly before walking past me and into the kitchen.
I was more than confused at the situation, at Taehyung's state. I moved back to the sofa and sat down, holding my head in my hands as I took deep and heavy breaths.
I pinched myself to try and wake up but I wasn't dreaming. I tried not to panic, knowing that being in a bad shape wouldn't help me get out of the situation. I saw Taehyung's shadow and looked up to see him handing me a sandwich on a plate.
I gratefully took it and started to eat, not even checking if it was safe. "It's nice, right?" I nodded in response to Taehyung's question. "At least someone likes it. I call it, 'the taesty snack.'" He laughed to himself and I couldn't help but stare at him as he did so.
His laugh was so cute and the way he looked so happy was beautiful in my eyes. I smiled at him as he stopped laughing. He smiled back.
"You finish that up, then you can chill around for a bit. I just need to buy something from the shops. Is that okay?" I was surprised he was even asking my opinion but nodded anyway and watched him get up and grab a bag before leaving with a quick 'goodbye.'
I finished my sandwich, grinning as I thought about how caring Taehyung was being towards me. I mentally scalded myself.
'Such a teenage girl.'
But I continued to smile at my thoughts and memories anyway, completely forgetting about the worry I had felt at first.

System Change
Years ago, Earth was indoctrinated into the "System." Earth was not the only place with the System, however. With the System came the other races, Invaders. The Invaders had one goal, to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. This created a bloodbath, and for years the war raged. This didn't really have much to do with Derek. Derek was kind of a loner. Yeah, he enjoyed the occasional chat or drink with others, but he never stayed in one place too long or really got to know anybody new. Derek did happen to be rather strong. After the years of fighting monster and Invaders alone, he had become quite adept at surviving. One thing that helped keep him alive was his refusal to get involved with others. He rarely cooperated with teams. One day, Derek broke his rules and decided to lend some help, as the mission didn't seem too hard. He should have stuck to being alone. Hey everyone, this is my fiction, "System Change." It's the first time I've really tried to write a serial. All feedback is really appreciated. I plan to release chapters every Tuesday and Thursday. With occasional extra chapters being released. I will try to maintain a word count between 1500-2500 words per chapter. Thank you! I just made a Discord if anyone wants to join.

Zeroth Knight
Isekai, fantasy, with the core themes of Identity and Fate. Story contains a, mostly, lesbian cast. Just when she was about to confess to the man of her dreams, Eve is taken by a light to another world. Swallowing her up, against her will, eroding her, it demands a life so contrary to her previous one. In a new world with the title of “Zeroth” forced upon her, she must rely on her newfound “friends” to stay sane and navigate her responsibilities. But bit by bit, the world loses sight of the girl inside; seeing only “Zero,” the person she did not desire to be, but the hero that the world needed. Will Eve let the title she bears consume her, or will she become the hero in both body and mind? This is the tale of her struggles, and a star-crossed love destined by Fate to never converge. This is the tale of Zero. This story is a slow-burn, meant to be a few hundred pages or more in length, so the plot isn't the fastest to move. It also has lesbian-themed relationships for the majority of its cast. This story partially falls under, "harem" with the main character being female and gaining the affection of other females, against (at first) the main character's (Eve) will. This first arc will be more focused on the mentality and emotions of the cast with battles spaced intermittently. The second arc will involve a lot more fighting. Arc two will be out in a reasonable timeframe. I have another story up, a short story drama with light yuri and supernatural themes: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/27010/escape-the-knight I am will continue updating older chapters to make them flow better, and to just be more structurally sound. Follow me at: https://twitter.com/ozefen0 Share the story if you think it's good. And please rate some stars and leave reviews guys. It will help encourage other people to take a chance with the story and get to know this wonderful journey with us. Also, a friend has made a Discord for the "Zeroth Universe" if anyone wants to join and hang out to talk about the stories, theories, or just general fun chats with us! https://discord.gg/f3Bc4TR

Unlimited Potential
While walking into the kitchen on the evening of his eighteenth birthday, Jamie finds himself in a forest on the world of Alzradis. It's a world with status screens and Classes, and he's only begun looking through them when someone approaches him. Adam is a rather attractive Demihuman of the draconic variant, and he's on his way to a nearby town to go through its Dungeon for Experience. He invites Jamie along and introduces him to how the System works, revealing that being summoned randomly isn't uncommon. Jamie finds the idea of getting to be a wizard a dream come true, and the fact that he has a special bonus that will help him become powerful faster than normal in a world where gaining Skills isn't easy only makes things better. He quite literally has unlimited potential, it's a better world than the life he had on Earth, and he did meet an attractive guy within a minute of arriving. Why would he want to leave? Harem Tag: There will be a harem for sure, I just don't know how many guys will be in nor what species of person any other than two will be. Slice-of-Life and Adventure: this story will have periods of slice-of-life and periods of adventure, so it's technically fitting into both genres. Expect some faster adventure scenes, and slower slice-of-life scenes all mixed in. Posting Schedule: -on hiatus until I figure out this scene-

Hell Jumper
(This is a sort of public first draft of the story. Constructive feedback is appreciated.) The year is 2510, and the world has gone to shit. Earth Exodus
Elliot isn't the first one taken, he was the last, or one of them at least. Careless divines, gods, or higher powers had been snatching humans through numerous means over the years. Those that returned brought minor tokens of their previous power if anything at all. Over time unrestrained magic became commonplace on earth. Which must have brought attention to us. The earth is ravaged by increasing levels of rogue magics, divines, and a war over resources and experience. Eventually resulting in a mass exodus of the remaining powerless humans by a coalition of gods. Now translocated to Vauthia where everyone has been given a path to power. They're met with an unfortunate reality. They've only been rescued from one dying world to be tasked with saving the new one. While at the same time they're apparently supposed to compete with one another. Meanwhile Elliot wasn't just given a path to power. He was given a choice. The opportunity for true power is offered. When as he reaches for it the power isn't all it's cracked up to be.Systemless in a world where everyone else has access to one Elliot must grapple with a multitude of problems from without and within. The 'gods' might actually be incompetent, uncaring, downright malicious, or all three. His power is constantly three steps behind those who chose the quick path to power. There's also the antisocial tendencies he's brought with him from earth. Can he trust the 'god' who seems to be taking him under their wing? Will he be able to catch up to his fellow earthlings who're ever increasing in power? Is it possible he may just break out of his shell along the way?*** What to expect ***The initial start will be quite slow, building the setting, history, and individuals involved. There is a small bit of progression in these early chapters for the MC, but more along the lines of figuring out how their systemless power works. though once the story gains traction it won't stop.*** Don't tell Elliot, but ***Elliot hates to admit it but he's very clearly antisocial. Not to mention troubles with thinking that stem from several un-diagnosed disorders he'd rather believe don't exist.*** Image Copyright *** //In this satellite image released by Copernicus Sentinel imagery, 2020 twitter page dated Dec. 31, 2019, shows wildfires burning across Australia.
