I woke up on a sofa.
I frowned as I looked around the empty apartment which I hand never seen before. I didn't let panic take over as I quietly stood up. The floor was cold against my bare feet.
I walked towards the window and looked out to see snow falling. A white blanket was covering cars, roads, trees. I couldn't help but admire the sight and it's beauty. I smiled as I watched the snowflakes land in different places.
A phone starting ringing and I jumped from the sudden noise. I spun around to try and see where the sound was coming from. I edged forward before freezing.
Noise
Sound.
I could hear it. The loud ringing noise that I instantly recognised even though I can't remember hearing it before. I swallowed my fear and continued forward. I scanned the room and my eyes landed on the red phone in the corner of the room. I took a deep breath and moved towards it but someone got there before me.
Taehyung hadn't recognised my presence as he picked up the call.
"Hello?"
I felt my stomach flip. I could hear him, I could see him. I tried not to collapse to the floor in shock and instead stood watching Taehyung talk.
"How far away are you?"
I couldn't remember who "you" might've been.
"Five minutes?! The flats a mess oh my god. Okay okay."
I looked around the room which seemed relatively clean except for the odd sock sitting in the corner.
"I'll see you soon, bye."
He hung and and spun around. His eyes widen as he saw me and we both just stood staring at each other.
A long two minutes passed before Taehyung spoke up. "Jungkook." The way his lips moved as he spoke my name was mesmerising. I tilted my head in response. I could see that he was tense, nervous, yet I didn't know why.

"Are you hungry?" Despite the question being so ordinary, it felt strange. I nodded after a moment of hesitation. He smiled slightly before walking past me and into the kitchen.
I was more than confused at the situation, at Taehyung's state. I moved back to the sofa and sat down, holding my head in my hands as I took deep and heavy breaths.
I pinched myself to try and wake up but I wasn't dreaming. I tried not to panic, knowing that being in a bad shape wouldn't help me get out of the situation. I saw Taehyung's shadow and looked up to see him handing me a sandwich on a plate.
I gratefully took it and started to eat, not even checking if it was safe. "It's nice, right?" I nodded in response to Taehyung's question. "At least someone likes it. I call it, 'the taesty snack.'" He laughed to himself and I couldn't help but stare at him as he did so.
His laugh was so cute and the way he looked so happy was beautiful in my eyes. I smiled at him as he stopped laughing. He smiled back.
"You finish that up, then you can chill around for a bit. I just need to buy something from the shops. Is that okay?" I was surprised he was even asking my opinion but nodded anyway and watched him get up and grab a bag before leaving with a quick 'goodbye.'
I finished my sandwich, grinning as I thought about how caring Taehyung was being towards me. I mentally scalded myself.
'Such a teenage girl.'
But I continued to smile at my thoughts and memories anyway, completely forgetting about the worry I had felt at first.
