I woke up feeling empty and alone. I only understood why when I realised that Taehyung was no longer with me.
I sighed, why would he be? He probably thought I was annoying so left me, he probably had better things to do, he probably only came back yesterday out of pity, he probably hate-
I was brought out of my thoughts when a coffee was shoved towards me. I saw that Taehyung was the one holding it and I smiled in relief, taking the cup in the process.
We sat silently sipping our coffee for a while until we are both done. Taehyung pulled me to my feet and started walking. He was still gripping my hand, something that didn't go unnoticed. I squeezed it lightly and I could see him smile at the action.
Seeing him happy made me feel even happier than I already was. My heart was still fluttering by the time we reached the mystery destination.
It was a small kids playground
I raised an eyebrow at his childish choice of face but he ignored me and dragged me over to a small roundabout. I had only just sat down when Taehyung starting spinning it really quickly.
I clung tightly to the small bars supporting me when Taehyung suddenly stopped it. I was flung backwards and hit the ground, scrapping my elbow in the process.
Taehyung immediately ran over to me and helped me up. The worry on his face caused me to smile, making him frown. His facial expression only became more amusing to me and I smiled even wider.
He seemed to finally grasp the fact that I found the situation funny and started smiling himself. We walked away from the park, hand in hand. Some people gave is dirty looks but at that moment I couldn't care less.

I finally felt happy. After all this time of emptiness, I finally felt a good emotion. And it was all down to the boy beside me. I didn't know whether it was his perky personality or his pretty face, but something about him made me feel invincible.
It confused me. This one guy had changed my life in only a few days. My heart was starting to beat faster, my smile only growing in size as I realised just how important he was to me.
Taehyung noticed my upbeat mood and squeezed my hand with a small smile on his face. So pretty.
Then it hit me. Taehyung could leave at any moment, and then I would be all alone again. I would feel sad and lost. My smile quickly changed into a deep frown. I didn't want to lose Taehyung.
The thought that he meant that much to me scared me and I stop abruptly in my tracks, pulling Taehyung to a halt next to me. He looked more than confused, especially when he saw the look on my face.
I didn't know what I was doing, why I had stopped. I sat down, removing my hand from Taehyung's. He crouched next to me but I flinched away.
I couldn't let myself do this. I looked at him and met his eyes. They looked tired and worried, something that made me hurt a bit inside. I shook my head, and gave him the best apologetic look before jumping up and running.
And I only stopped when I collapsed from exhaustion

I woke up when it began to rain. My feet ached, and my heart hurt. I slowly pulled myself to my feet. I looked back at the town I had run from. It was so far away in the distance, yet it still hurt that nobody had followed me.

Why would they?
I let a single tear fall just before the rain began to get heavier. I didn't care about my aching bones or the fact that I was freezing cold. I just wanted one person, but -at the same time- I didn't want him either.
I had to run away. It was the right thing to do. I doubted my own thoughts but soon brushed it away.
It was the right thing to do. I had to run away before anything happened.
Before I fell in love with Taehyung.
But I couldn't help feeling that I already had.
