I freshened up and got dress really quick because Alice was saying that we were going to be late. I ran down the stairs and I saw an angry Alice tapping her foot on the ground, I chuckled and look over at Augustine who was eating his breakfast.

"Ok let's go" she smiled and I walk over to her "babe I'm leaving" I hear her say and he came up to her and gave her a really sloppy kiss, touching butts and stuff.

"Stop Serena's right there" she moans and I felt like I wanted to throw up.

"Yeah stop dude I'm right here" I mumbled and he steps away. We were about to leave when he called my name. I turned to look at him and I showed him the finger and he smirked.

Fucking creep

I got into the car and Alice drove off. In the car was really silent and I didn't want to start a conversation so I just sat there staring out the window.

"So Serena are you ready to tell me about what happened when you left the cafe?" She asked and I shrug and nodded.

"Ok, so after I left the cafe I called Jace and told him we're over and the got mad and I ended the call. So I was walking down the street to take a taxi and a car pulled up in front of me. A really hot, sexy looking guy came out, I swear I was drooling but at that time I didn't care and then he kidnapped me bla bla bla" I said and she chuckled.

I really wasn't in the mood to tell her

"Why did he kidnap you?" She asked

"Because he thought I was someone else and he still does and he said I sign a sex contract in which I don't know of"

"So did you guys fuck?" she asked and I blushed while hiding my face in my hands "oh my god you guy totally did the nasty" she giggled.

"Ok, whatever" I simply say and she shook her head.

"You can tell me the rest later because we are here," she said and I look up and saw Ernie's cafe. I got really confused because I thought she said she worked at a restaurant.

"I thought you said you worked at a restaurant," I said

"Did I say that. I meant a cafe" she mumbled and I rolled my eyes.

We entered the cafe and Alice told me to wait while she goes and talks to her boss. I started looking around the cafe when I felt someone touch me on my shoulder I jumped and turn around.

"I'm so sorry did I scare you, I'm Polo by the way," he said and I nodded and smile.

"And I'm Serena," I said and he nodded.

"Are you going to work here?" He asked and I simply nodded. I watched him walk up to the front door and turned then around the sign. I heard Alice call my name so I turned around to face her.

"Have you met Polo he so cute isn't he?" she asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

"So what did the boss say?" I asked ignoring her question.

"She said that you can get the job and it's just only because you are my friend that's why she's hiring" she paused "so do you know why to do?" She asked and I nodded

"Ok so let's start," I said and she nodded and was about to leave when I stop her.

"Alice about Augustine I don't think he the right guy for you I mean, he got some damn bad intention he even tried to touch me" I explained and she had a shock expression.

"Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded. She sighed and told me to follow her. She walked me over to a corner and handed me a small notebook and an apron.

"Wear this and you can write down the orders on this ok" she whispered and I knew she was sad but I had to tell her maybe she's mad at me or doesn't believe and I don't care I'm just trying to look out for her.

Ok so let's start.

I walk over to the first table where a couple sat I gave them a small smile and took out my pen and my book.

"Good morning, welcome to Ernie's cafe. What would you like to order?" I asked.

"I would like a cup of coffee and he would like a cappuccino that's all for us, thank you" I quickly wrote down what they want and went up to the front desk.

"What did they order," Polo asked.

"Table one ordered a cup of coffee and a cappuccino," I said then smiled.

"Serena table six now," he said anxiously and I looked at him confused.

"What about table ones or-" I was cut off when he spoke.

"Forget about them I'll let Alice take care of them. The person at table six doesn't like waiting go" he said while biting his nails I shook my head and chuckled. Who could this person be I turned around and look at the back off the cafe where table six was and my eyes widen when I saw Nikolai looking down on his phone. I turned around quickly and look up at Polo, trying to hide my face with my hand.

"Please don't let me do this one" I begged and he cocked on eyebrow up. "I'm scared," I said and he chuckled.

"Come on Serena the guy won't bite plus you have to do this," he said and I gulp then nodded. I slowly approach him while hiding my face. When I finally got to him I cleared my throat trying to change my voice a bit.

"Um... good morning, welcome to Ernie's cafe what can get you?" I asked while biting down on my lip.

"I would like hmm. Serena" he smirked

"Sir we don't sell that here," I said and was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand and pulled me down on his lap.

"I know that it's you, Serena," he said and I huffed and got off his lap.

"What do you want Nikolai I have others to serve," I said.

"No your coming home with me" he ordered and I shook my head and was about to walk off when he grabbed me by my hand and told me to sit down I sighed and did what he said.

"We need to talk" he mumbled and I rolled my eyes.

"We have nothing to talk about Nikolai you were the one that causes this and I'm not going back with you" I argued then folded my arms up to my chest.

"Serena you're coming with me whether you like it or not and don't make me have to pull you out of here," he said in a stern voice and I got really angry but had to do what he said. I didn't want him to make a commotion so I stood up and walk up to Polo.

"I'm so sorry I have to go, can you tell Alice I'm leaving because I think she might be mad at me," I said and Nikolai came behind of me, I look up at him and he growled.

"He's just my friend Nick, now let's go" I angrily said and apologize to Polo for Nikolai's behavior. I took off my apron hand handed it to him then left.

"We walked into the parking lot and I stop in my tracks which cause him to stop and give me a confusing look.

"What are you doing here Nikolai?" I asked

"Remember that your mine Serena and I apologize for the way I behaved with the other night it wasn't entirely my fault I'm sorry will you please forgive me and I'll explain what happened please" he whispered and I was really shocked.

Sorry, please. Nikolai said those words he not that heartless at all

I tip on my toes and place my hand to his forehead "are you ok" I asked and he chuckled. "Ok maybe I'll forgive you but not yet, not until you give me an explanation," I said and he nodded.

He was about to kiss me on the lips when I saw someone in the corner of the parking lot. He came out and I creased my eyebrows together and then I saw it. Jace. I began to panic.
