Recap :
"She indeed is meant for you."
____________
"What do you mean?" Jungkook immediately asks.
"Read this." Taehyung pushes the file he brought earlier towards Jungkook. "You'll know."
Jungkook opens the file and skims through the details about Hana. "She has an IQ of 175, pretty intelligent person." Jungkook hears Taehyung while reading Hana's report. "She is 5 years younger than you but has the same mindset as yours. Taekwondo champ has a black belt. Comes from a normal and typical family. She was in a relationship after starting college. Father is a teacher, and the mother is a housewife. No business background. Not rich. Got admission by scholarship." Taehyung keeps ongoing about Hana's report. "She is a god-gifted child," He pauses a little, and Jungkook glances up at him, waiting for him to finish. "I don't understand one thing. Even after having such an intelligent person, she is still dumb."
"Huh?" Jungkook breathes out.
"You see, after that night, she didn't recognize you. How?" Taehyung says it like it is a big deal, but Jungkook shrugs it off. "Also, she has only two close ones. Kim Namjoon and Jung Hyuna. That's all for anything else just read that."
"Thanks, I got it now," Jungkook smirks and walks away with the file.
"Wait! We were going for dinner!" Jimin shouts but gets ignored by Jungkook. "Are you serious right now?"

"I was so nervous like I could have died at that moment," I dramatically explain my experience with Mr. Jeon. "It was like my heart was about to pump out, this nervous I was."
"Woah, calm the fuck down, lady," Namjoon says as I finish. I laugh with Hyuna at his reaction.

"But you didn't tell me if he was handsome," Hyuna asks me. I was about to say something, but Namjoon interrupts me.
"Here we go again," He says with a usual tone ad sighs.
"Well, he was," I speak up, making Namjoon choke on his drink, and Hyuna squealed softly. "I mean, I would be lying if I said no," I say, blushing a little.
Namjoon taps on Hyuna's arm, who is staring at me like I was an alien. "Slap me if you heard that Hana complimented a stranger while blushing." He says, and Hyuna slaps his cheek softly. "Damn, what got into Hana?" He asks.
"What?" I exclaim, feeling shy. Indeed, I never compliment a person I don't know, and blushing is a long way, but after that hour with Mr. Jeon just made me think that I know him for a long time.
"Wow, today is the best day," Hyuna says and claps her hands once.
"You both continue. I'll be back in a minute," I say and walk into the washroom, leaving both of them.
"Have you heard Jeon enterprise is hiring college students? I mean, what will those small kids do?" I hear some women speaking about us. To be honest, I have been thinking the same thing why is he hiring college students? But that's what internship is about.
"I know right, and I heard he hiring some dumb people as well." You're a dumb idiot. My subconsciousness screams at her. The gossip ladies walk out, and I just wash my hands and walk out as well because the gossips were over.
I walk back and sit down to dig in. "We, who are going to have a great future that's waiting for us," Namjoon says out of the blue, raising his glass. Hyuna and I also raise our glass, and Namjoon continues. "Are going to be together!"
"FOREVER!" we all unison and clink our glasses.

Alexander Kent has many things going for him, but despite all his wonderful qualities, he still finds himself the target of bullies. The harshest of his many critics is the one who worries him the most: his father. A near-tragic accident renders Alex incapacitated. As he hangs on death’s door, he’s visited by the unlikeliest of beings: a demon. Their unfathomable exchange becomes even more troubling when he’s offered a second chance at life… in exchange for use of his body by the devil himself. Alex’s deal with the devil leads him into a hidden supernatural world, rife with mystery, danger, and a convoluted web of the worst the underworld has to offer. Now, he has no memory of his ill-fated deal and is desperate to break free of the hold the Demon King and his minions have on him, but escaping their clutches may prove to be more difficult than any battle he’s ever faced. (Author's note: I've had writers block on this for a while but recently hired a professional editor. I don't think it will be much longer before I have new chapters. A cover is also in discussion. I won't just drop it. Thanks to Papillion for the cover!!!)

Digital Immigrant
This is the story of how James Allen Quick and Sarah Lynn Abernathy died. By 'died', I mean that their hearts stopped, their brains ceased sending electrical impulses, and all other physical functions terminated. Immediately after which, their bodies were placed into an industrial furnace, reduced to ash, and the ash was spread about in one of the last forest reserves in North America. As ash-spreading locations go, this ranked third. First and second places were, of course, a person’s favorite athletic team’s playing field and the sea. Or rather, I should say that this is how the story begins. You see, it’s what came after that is so interesting.

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!
