After meeting the inner circle of the Alpha kings' most trusted wolves, Taehyung has been less on ease now. He wasn't fully healed, but he was at least eating regularly again. Since Taehyung was still on guard, repeatedly checking his surroundings again and again, the twins have moved him to their personal corridor, with an own dining room, living room, five bathrooms, four bedrooms and an own swimming area.
Taehyung was still in awe when he moved around the room, curiously exploring everything. He has never seen these many rooms before and he also couldn't believe he was living here. The twins, used to the luxury since birth, have been equally amused and touched from the way Taehyung was behaving, so happy and curiously running around that it warmed their hearts.
The reality of their precious mate being with them was still new and unfamiliar, Jungkook having to restrain Obsidian because the wolf demanded complete obedience, especially coming from his Mate but since Taehyung didn't know, he often did things that displeased the fiery Trueblood who often had to excuse himself.
Jungkook was working on himself, hard, but the past trauma still held him in his claws, making him desperate for a solution since he didn't want to hurt his dear Mate. Jeongguk on the other side was struggling with Midnight's possessiveness, the female Alpha often enough wanted to break out and hold Taehyung away from everyone but that would terrify the poor male even more.
Yes, they were together but they were far from a happily ever after.
Taehyung was now fighting with night terrors, sensing threats in every shadow. It worried his Mates since Taehyung also tended to keep to himself, didn't talk much to the twins or everyone else. It was rather surprising that Yoongi, the gentle doctor, got Jimin to talk to Taehyung.

Jimin, as an Alpha, has struggled with maintaining his wolf form before and could relate to Taehyung's desperate attempts in controlling his form and he has offered his help. To their surprise, Taehyung accepted.
Resulting in his Mates to turn absolutely furious.
"Why doesn't he want to be with us! I don't fucking understand!", Jungkook screamed angrily, pacing around in the royal office, with Yoongi and Jeongguk by his side. Jimin and Taehyung have been training in the Kings' private training room and Jimin has asked them to stay out, knowing Taehyung's wolf Silver, traumatized and always ready to protect Taehyung, wasn't going to allow more than one person close.
Not even his Mates.
"We gave him space, we give him love, we assure him that he's safe yet he still doesn't trust us!", Jungkook yelled, angrily running his hand through his already messed up hair. He was frustrated, more with himself for being so impatient but also, a little bit, with Taehyung. All he wanted was to love his Mate, hoping he could ease the anger eating him alive.
Yet Taehyung still shied away from his contact.
"Kook, he's not a dog. Besides, years of abuse cannot be erased that easily", Yoongi said gently, understanding the Alpha's frustration. His eyes snapped to Jeongguk who looked much more put together than his twin. "Aren't you frustrated too? Do you not care?!", Jungkook has noticed Yoongi's attention shift, now stalking towards his brother and accusing him.
Jeongguk frowned. "I am furious too, but not at Taehyung. It isn't his fault, he didn't ask for this. Plus, one of us is already out of his mind. It wouldn't help if I was too. One of us needs to keep thinking clear", Jeongguk said, always more composed and it pissed Jungkook off.

"Oh yes, the hero in shining armor while I am the Alpha bastard who cannot control himself--", Jungkook started with a snarl, only for the doors to open.
A small wolf slipped inside, silver fur bristled, the wolf looking stronger than two weeks before where he arrived at the castle. The Alphas stopped arguing almost immediately and nearly stopped breathing when Taehyung elegantly changed back into his human form.
"Look, look! It's my first transformation I could control! Jimin taught me how to do it right!", the silver-haired male exclaimed happily, eyes shining brightly as he looked over to his Mates, waiting for their reactions happily.
He tried so hard, to make them proud. They were Alphas and Taehyung felt like he wasn't enough. He was just an Omega, nothing special, with a bag full of traumas that couldn't be forgotten and he wanted to work hard on himself to become a worthy Mate. So he was incredibly happy when he finally succeeded, so happy that he jumped over his shadow and dared to disturb them.
"That's amazing, Tae", Yoongi said gently since the twins stayed silent, only glaring at each other. "What's wrong?", Taehyung asked, immediately sensing that something was off. He has been drilled to sense slight changes in Seokjin's mood after all, which often saved his life.
"D-did I do something wrong? D-did I interrupt s-something?", the little Omega asked, old insecurities and fears returning to his eyes and Jungkook was surprisingly the first one by his side. "You didn't do anything, Baby. Nothing is your fault, okay?", he said gently, hugging Taehyung who shyly responded to the hug.
"Tell me what's wrong, I can sense you're tense", Taehyung's voice was muffled against Jungkook's shirt before he looked up. "You are my Mate, I don't want you to be upset", Taehyung then said sincerely, and he meant it.
He was trying so hard to become better, to heal. Taehyung wanted to be with the twins, but he was also afraid. Afraid that Seokjin was coming back for him. Because when Taehyung knew of something then it was Seokjin's stubbornness. He especially wouldn't let go his favorite doll.
Jungkook visibly softened and he leaned forward to press a kiss to Taehyung's forehead. "It doesn't matter anymore, because you're here. We will get through this together", the Trueblood said and Taehyung nodded before pressing his face into Jungkook's chest.
"You didn't say you're proud of me though", it came muffled from Jungkook's chest and they laughed softly.
But unknown to them, someone has arrived at the front porch of the castle, leaving a single letter on the stairs which was picked up by a servant and just then brought to the Alpha kings in a hurry.
Because Kim Seokjin has left a message for Tae in which he told him that he'll be coming for Taehyung.

Is Jungkook in the right for being frustrated ? While TaeTae works so hard to get better...
