The door creaked open with a snarl, making the Alphas flinch by the unpleasant sound, irritating their sensitive ears. Stepping inside the large room, they were met by darkness. Once their eyes adjusted to the dim light inside the room, they looked around, keeping their steps as light and nonthreatening as possible.
The twins shared a look, not knowing if they should call out for Taehyung or not, maybe their voices were going to scare him.
But they didn't have to. Because they found Taehyung sitting on the bed, hugging his knees. He was crying, shoulders shaking from distress while he rocked himself back and forth. The twins' hearts broke by the sight.
"It's not real, it's not real. I'm not in the tent anymore, I'm safe", they heard him mumbling, whispering these words like a mantra to himself, head buried in between his frail knees, back bent in the desperate wish to protect his small body. A razor sharp sob broke out of his throat, making him whimper as tears rolled down his cheeks.
Taehyung has woken up to sounds in front of the door and he has grown terrified, believing them to be voices from the vampires who have come to take him again. The poor Omega has transformed three times into his wolf form due to his panic and when the now painful transformations stopped, he was left shaking and trembling on the bed, afraid of his own wolf.
Everything was scaring him, he wanted to disappear, go home without even knowing where this home was. Or if he even still had a home to go to.
He felt presences in the room as well and when the frail boy lifted his head, tears running down his sunken cheeks, he was met with the sight of two men who confused him like no other, but who also scared him. There was this... weird feeling of safety he felt with them. For a short moment, Taehyung has hoped of them to be his Mates, finally saving him from his misery as the knights in shining armor.

But the problem was, Taehyung didn't believe in Mates anymore. As if he ever could be so fucking lucky to have two strikingly handsome Alphas. The two tall men, immensely gorgeous and with amazing physics, stared at the fragile male and Taehyung suddenly felt like their prey.
Especially when seeing their red eyes.
He shook his head, whimpering and weakly pushing himself back to the head of the bed, rolling himself up in a protective little ball, too tired and drained to transform into his wolf. His Omega whimpered pathetically.
A sweet little sound escaped the pretty being writhing on the bed, eyes huge and pleading. It made the Alphas realize how threatening they must look, and immediately softened their aura and scent to not terrify Taehyung further. It did its deed, because Taehyung stopped trembling so much. But he still looked warily at them, huge blue eyes flickering towards the exit.
"Tae? Hey, little munchkin, you're okay. You don't have to be afraid", one of them cooed, a soothing deep voice with a husky undertone and Taehyung decided that there was friendliness inside this voice. It was the blond of the two who talked to him, red eyes now a beautiful chocolate brown.
"I am Jeongguk, and this is my brother Jungkook. We are friends", the Alpha said and watched how the Omega whimpered, pulling the blanket up to his chest in the wish to protect himself. 'Kook, step back a little, we shouldn't get too close until he allows us to', Jeongguk linked his brother who complied with a little growl. Jungkook might be older but he still struggled with keeping his wolf under control.
"Y-you are t-the twins... t-the Alpha t-twins", a little voice whispered, a beautiful deep timbre and they closed their eyes, listening to the beautiful melody that was their Mate's voice. Jeongguk and Jungkook have dreamed of this day, finally meeting their Mate and they were already drawn to Taehyung.

"Yes, Sweetheart, but you don't have to be afraid of us. Our last intention is to hurt you. Or wait, it isn't one of our intentions anyways", Jungkook now joined and Taehyung's head shot towards him. He looked beautiful like this, with messy silver bedroom hair after waking up and a sheer white shirt that slipped from his petit form.
"Yoongi told us some concerning things and we wanted to check up on you. We saved you from these-- we brought you out of there, bub", Jungkook said with a smile. Taehyung was surprised to see bunny teeth showing. It was cute, the Omega thought to himself, and what was cute couldn't be threatening.
So the little Omega shyly robbed closer, still staring at them, his body on guard. The Alphas tried their best to remain calm and not freak out. 'Oh my god, oh my god, he's so cute, must hug, he's Baby, please', Jeongguk screamed in his mind and Jungkook joined him with some weird screeching noises.
"Y-you saved me? Y-you won't hurt me?", the silver-haired beauty asked with these irresistible sapphire eyes of his, staring up to cutely at them. It was the raven, broader in form than the blond who seemed more on the nonthreatening athletic side than his brother. The raven on the other side was packed. Taehyung gulped upon seeing those big, beefy arms. He even saw tattoos peaking out from under the sleeves.
"We will never hurt you, bub", Jungkook smiled, daring to move a step forward. Taehyung stiffened but didn't back away, watching him silently. He was scared to the core of what they would do, scared of the possibility of the situation being a hallucination, but something inside of him told him this was real.
"I-is this r-real?", he asked the two with puppy eyes. Jeongguk, the blond twin, nodded. "Yes, munchkin. We are here with you, protecting you from all evil. Yoongi, the friendly doctor who was with you, said you had... seen us doing mean things to you. I know you don't know us, but we would never dare to lay our fingers falsely upon you, Taehyung", Jungkook said, now standing so close that he could touch Taehyung.
He didn't, only inhaling the scent of the beautiful Omega. Taehyung must have been touched without permission all the time and Jungkook wanted to give him the feeling of being in control.
"W-why?", the question was no surprise to the twins who shared a look. Despite Yoongi telling them to keep information lowkey, they decided to tell Taehyung the truth.
"Because we are your Mates, Sweetheart."
~
Quick reminder: thanks to the vampire poison, Taehyung tends to forget lots of stuff, also remember that he currently can't smell the twins, also thanks to the poison.
How will he react, what do you think ?

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.
