《Devastation ○Finney Blake○》Black Van

Your Pov
As I'm sitting with Gwen on the couch I look at her. She looks worried and sick. I feel horrible. "Hey Gwen." She looks at me, "I'm sure he'll be fine. He's a strong kid." I tell her trying to raise her spirits.
"Can I tell you something?" She asks me nervously, "Yeah of course, anything." I tell her while rubbing her back. "I have these dreams..." She starts and I look at her confused. Like my dreams? No, mine are nightmares. "They can be weird sometimes but they are about the kids who..where taken." She continues, "and sometimes my dreams come true." She finishes looking at me.
"Have you had one about Finney?" I ask. "No, but I have had one about Bruce." She looks at me. I pull her into a hug. "If you find out anything that can help find him, you call me right away. I don't think you're crazy or any of this is weird. I'll be with you the whole time." I tell her honestly. She smiles and hugs me tighter.
I stay for around an hour before I have to go. "Bye Gwen, I'll see you tomorrow. I promise." I tell her, "Bye (y/n)" She says back. I quickly walk back home and see the black van. Is it following me? God I don't wanna know. I make it inside and make mac and cheese for dinner. Not eating breakfast is starting to take a toll on me. I finish up quickly and take a shower. After brushing my teeth and getting my pajamas on I get ready for bed.
I wake up, without any nightmares. I slowly start to get ready, putting on a plain longsleeve t-shirt and some jeans. I go downstairs and make some eggs and bacon. I eat fast and brush my teeth. I check the time to see it's 7:15 and start my way over to school.
I see Gwen walking slow and go to greet her. "Hey Gwen, how are you feeling?" "Okay, I guess." She responds shrugging. "I had a dream." She tells me. "What happened in it? What did you see?" I ask in a hurry. "It was like a vision from Bruce. And I saw Finney pounding a door, it had glass on it. Last night I went out looking for it." She tells me. "I told you to call me!" I yell stressed. "I know! I know! I just thought I would try myself. I didn't find anything though." I just sigh. We continue to school in silence.

Once we arrive they tell us to go to the gym. I sit next to Gwen on the bleachers. "Goodmoring students. Unfortunately, another child has gone missing, his name is Finney Blake." The whole gym turns and looks at us. "These children who have been taken were all apart of our school. So we have agreed to have a moment of silence for them." The gym goes quiet as everyone looks down. I hug Gwen as we think of our friends who have gone missing. After about 5 minutes we are all dismissed to our classes. I tell Gwen 'bye' before continuing on to my day.
It's a lot more quiet without Finn around in my classes. As I get to lunch I find that no one is in our usual spot. Not even Gwen. I sit and eat alone, once I'm done I go to the nurse.
"I don't feel well." I lie "Oh what's wrong?" She asks concerned. "I have a headache, I would like to go home." I tell her, "well we'd have to call your parents." She says while looking at papers. "My mom isn't home." I tell her. "Oh alright," she thinks for a while. "Well, I'll let you off this time. Since I know you and Finn were close." She smiles before ushering me out. I thank her and make my way home.
I walk extra slow trying to understand everything going on. I hope Finneys okay, and where was Gwen? As I keep walking I notice the black van parked in front of me. A man stumbles out dropping his groceries and his hat.
"Oh look at that, what a mess!" He says. This seems familiar. "Would you hand me my hat?" He asks politely. My dream! I hand it to him while backing away. "Oh no need to be scared! I'm a magician! Want to see a trick?" He asks while dusting off his hat. I look at the words on his van and run the other way.
I hear him growl and follow. Oh my god I'm going to die! I keep running trying to get away. Now I think I understand my nightmare. I try to scream but before I can yell I'm tackled to the floor. The man turns me over and sprays something in my mouth. I keep struggling and he punches me in the face to get me to stop. I slowly pass out and feel myself get lifted off the floor.

"Brought you a friend." I hear a voice say. "(Y/n)?! What did you do to her?!" Another voice yells. "Same thing I did to you, well I hate to knock her out, resilient little thing." The first voice chuckles. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n) Wake up!" I hear someone shouting as a door closes and locks.
I open my eyes only for them to burn and it to be blurry. "Are you alright?" The voice asks. Wait I know that voice. "Finney?" I ask in a weak voice, "Yes, Yes it's me! Are you okay (y/n)?" He asks in a worried tone. My eyes start to adjust and I see I'm in a room, with a small window at the top, and a bed that I'm laying on. "I'm fine, I guess. Wait, where are we?!?" I ask frantically, finally being able to see him. "The Grabber." He tells me, "he brought us here." My eyes widen. "The Grabber?!"
"Yeah," he responds. "But we're gonna get out!" He tells me seriously. "What? How?" I ask. He points to the phone on the wall. The line is cut. "The line, it's cut. How are we gonna call?" I ask extremely confused. "We aren't going to call. They are." He tells me, "who?" "The kids before us. They can contact us through the phone!" He explains.
"Bruce and Paperboy called me. In the hallway where the bathroom is I've dug a hole. And that window used to have bars over it, but Bil-Paperboy had a hidden cord in here so I could pull it down." He tells me everything. "Okay so, the ghost kids are helping you, well us, escape?" I question. "Yeah, I think." He says. "Okay, what are we gonna do now?" "Wait."
We've been waiting for a few hours, just sitting on the bed or sometimes digging the hold deeper. I wonder how Gwen is doing. I wonder if my mom knows I'm missing? Suddenly the lights turn on taking me out of my thoughts. "Quick act like you're asleep." Finney whispers. I quickly lay down next to him pretending to be sleeping.
As the door open the Grabber walks in and says in a singing voice, "I know you're not sleeping!" Which is extremely creepy. We both sit up and Finney says, "I'm starving" which technically, I'm kinda hungry. "Tell me your names?" The Grabber asks. "Why do you care?" I ask him.
"I usually don't." He tells us. "I find out eventually in the paper. They always print a nice, big photo. With all the details I could ever want. All the things you boys lie about." "Whats different this time?" Finn asks. "Oh..Oh its complicated. It's...too complicated. Everything's different, nothings going right." He says. "You could let us go." Finn tells him. "I'm thinking about it." "I promise we won't tell anyone!" I speak up, "you can blindfold us, drop us off on the street. We'll walk home." Finn finishes.
"Well tell me your names." The Grabber says. "Taylor, Taylor Mullen." Finn says then turns to me. "I'm Alice, Alice Jones." The Grabber sighs then throws the tray on the floor. I jolt up. He then throws a newspaper at us, as Finney opens it I look at the Grabber worried. It has both of our faces with our names and information.
"I was really starting to like you, Finney! And you (Y/n) (y/ln), only a day in here and it seems like you need a punishment." He yells making me flinch. He walks towards me and I back away. "Don't back away now." He warns. I sit still and Finn looks at me. He then slaps me and slowly walks away. "I almost let you go." He shrugs then closes the door. "Are you alright?!" Finn turns to me as I'm rubbing my cheek. "Yeah I'm fine," I look at him. "Are we really gonna make it out of here. Or are we just going to die like the others?" I ask him slowly starting to breath heavy.
"Hey, hey, don't say that. We're gonna figure this out. Trust me." He tries to reassure me while rubbing my back. He then gets up to open the door, but stops as the phone rings. He turns and picks it up and I walk over to see what it is.
"Hello?" He asks. "Bruce? Billy-Paperboy?" But he gets no reply and hangs up. He turns back to me and says, "don't go upstairs." "Why?" "Paperboy says he waits up there with a belt. So don't go." He tells me again. I just nod and look at the tray on the floor.

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High
