《Coco Butter Kisses - Bad Education Mitchell Harper × OC》Jealousy

A week or so had passed since 'the hangover incident'. Mitchell and I were back to our usual fighting, except now it felt more like banter than it did fighting. We also managed to pay each other a small smile each morning when he was late for class.
I sat atop Chantelle and Stephen's desk as they sat in their chairs.
"Are you excited for the French exchange!?" Chantelle squealed.
"Totes!" Stephen clapped his hands and grinned.
They both turned to me, realising how silent and expressionless I was.
"You're not excited, babes?" Chantelle pouted, "This is the perfect way to get over your ex!"
"I dunno," I sighed, "French boys just aren't all they're hyped up to be. And besides, my break up was only like a week ago. It's way too early for me to even slightly have feelings for anyone else."
Mitchell and Rem Dogg burst into class at the worst possible moment.
"Woulda thought you'd be the kinda girl with a proper fit rebound," Rem Dogg laughed.
Mitchell was obviously a little down, but he kept his cool and sank back into his normal dumbassery.
"Yeah she's a lezzo innit," he snapped his fingers and pulled a cheeky grin.
"Bisexual," I swirled around to face him, "Not the same thing."
His jaw practically dropped.
"So you've fucked girls?" Rem Dogg questioned.
"Oi there's no way! Alex has to be a virgin, she's too proper to do any of that shit," Mitchell snickered.
"You don't know that for sure," I grinned, watching Mitchell's face drop, "Last week you saw a side of me you hadn't seen before, who's to say there aren't more?"
"So a dick's been in your pussy!?" Rem smiled cheekily.
Mitchell frowned at Rem Dogg and hit him lightly.
"Oh, poor, sweet, Mitchell," I shimmied my way off of the desk and strode my way over to him until our bodies were almost touching, and placed my hand on his jaw, exactly how he fed me a week prior, "I don't need protecting."
Chantelle and Stephen gawked and Rem just laughed.

"I gotta go," Mitchell said, storming out of class after only just getting there.
Rem went after Mitch to make sure he was okay.
"What was THAT about?" Stephen stood up and grabbed me by the arm, "We want DETAILS!"
"I don't know why he got angry and left honestly," I shrugged, "Weird."
"Not that!" Chantelle took my other arm, "I didn't know you two were close enough for you to do THAT to him!?"
"Well obviously they aren't!" Stephen debated, "You struck a chord, girl."
I sighed and sat back down, Stephen and Chantelle leaning in so they wouldn't miss a word.
"Well after what happened last week, him and I have been closer," I shrugged a little.
"Babes, you never even proper told us what happened last week!" Stephen complained.
I explained, step by step, exactly what happened, even demonstrating on Chantelle how he fed me. They shrieked at every detail.
"What happened to not being ready to move on?" Chantelle questioned.
"We're just friends!" I defended myself.
There was no way I would, in a million years, like Mitchell Harper. Even as a rebound.
Or at least that's what I TRIED to tell myself.

Some time later, it was time for the exchange students to show up. We all gathered out the front of the school, anticipating their arrival.
Finally, a bus pulled up. But as the students got off, we slowly started to realise they were definitely not French.
"They're Dutch!" I exclaimed.
Chantelle and Stephen groaned.
"No you don't get it, some Dutch boys are really hot! A Dutch rebound could be exactly what I need," I winked at Chantelle.
Mitchell rolled his eyes and we all groaned whenever an unattractive kid got off the bus.
Until, finally, the single hottest guy I'd ever seen stepped off the bus.
"See!?" I shrieked, "I could definitely move on if it was for him."
For some reason, this really agitated Mitchell. He walked off, rolling Rem with him.
"You think THAT was nothing?" Stephen snorted.
"Maybe Rem needed something? Or he wanted to go to the toilet? Or maybe he likes Chantelle and was annoyed that she thinks he's fit?"

They jusy both rolled their eyes and ran off to flirt with the hot Dutch boy.
I felt guilty. Mitchell actually could be a sweet guy, I'd seen it before.

Later on in class, we were being taught sex ed with the Dutch students. I was, of course, sitting in my normal spot next to Mitchell.
"You okay?" I poked him on the shoulder, "You stormed off earlier"
"Shut up, you Muppet," he groaned.
But not in his normal playful way. He was genuinely pissed this time. I just rolled my eyes and zoned back into class.
The hot Dutch boy, Hoogeveen, was talking about liking to make girls feel good in bed. He looked over to me and shot me a wink.
"You should make me feel good some time before you leave," I licked my lips and winked back at him.
"Storage room near the cafeteria, after this lesson," he winked back.
Suddenly, I heard a loud scraping noise next to me. It was Mitchell, obviously intentionally, loudly pulling his chair out to stand up. He gave me the cold shoulder and scowled at Hoogeveen before making his way out of the classroom.
Why did he storm off every time I made a comment about boys?
The room fell dead silent until someone from the back called out, "What's a glittorish?"
'Was that nothing?' Chantelle mouthed to me from across the room.
I rolled my eyes and stood up, making a more graceful escape than Mitchell.
Once outside the classroom, I just stood there trying to figure out where Mitchell might go. That's when it all clicked.
Hoogeveen told me to meet him in the storage room near the cafeteria but that's where Mitchell fed-
Of course he was upset!

I knocked lightly on the storage room's door. I heard a voice from inside.
"If it's Hoogeveen, your girl isn't in here."
I rolled my eyes and stormed in, as he had been. Mitchell was sitting on 'the' box, drinking a Redbull.
"Mitchell, I know you're upset, but what the fuck was that? You just made a spectacle of both of us!"
"First off, I don't know what the fuck a spectable is," Mitchell fought back with me, "But I do know this is our spot! This is where we bonded for the first time!"
His voice grew softer and he dropped his head. I dropped mine as well, in shame.
"This morning, you said you weren't gonna get feelings for nobody else for a bit. I thought, that's fine, her choice. But then I find out you, innocent little Alex, is going to fuck someone you just met in our spot? Why him, Alex? What does Hogeveen have?"
I sighed and sat down next to him, putting my hand on his thigh.
"You have more," I spoke softly, and his ears seemed to perk up, "Hoogeveen is the kind of person you fuck as a rebound. I'd feel terrible making you a rebound, because I'd much rather have you as someone I can actually be with."
I was going to continue talking, but I was cut off by Mitchell's lips colliding with mine. He turned to face me completely and wrapped his arms around my waist. I began to get into it and kiss back, before finally pulling myself away.
"Please," Mitchell looked at me with puppy dog eyes, "Let me be a rebound."
"I'm sorry," I sighed, "You're worth more than that to me. But I need a break from dating right now. My ex cheated on me twice and it's been a week. Can we just... go back to normal?"
"By normal, do you mean-"
"Normal after the hangover cure. I like having you around," I smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek, before looking down and seeing...
"I'll leave you alone to take care of that, Mitchell," I giggled and got up to leave, "You know you don't really like me, you're just horny. Jing would be upset."
With that, I left. The kiss was incredible though. I touched my lips an sighed. Mitchell was cute, but he only liked me for my body. It was obvious.
