I looked down at this small child who was grabbing onto my leg did she just call me mama? I thought as I made eye contact with her
"Oh umm hello there my dear I'm afraid I'm not your mother" I said kneeling down to look her in her eyes and holding onto her shoulders
"But you're Tommy's mom aren't you?" The girl asked with an accusatory tone of voice
Shaking my head i looked at tommy then back at the redhead Child
"Sort of?" I said confused, I wanna be Tommy's mother but he's not an orphan so he still has a family to go back to i smiled standing up and this like 10 year old starts to fucking float to maintain eye contact with me
"Sort of isn't good enough!" She demands with a puffed up face that had gone red
"What?" I was so confused and kinda intimidated... I don't know if I like this I thought to myself
"Either you are or your not!" She said putting her hand on her hips
"I am?" I asked turning to tommy and he nodded
"Oh ok" I looked at the floating child "yes I am his mother." I said
"So you're mama." She said looking at me blankly and I felt really uncomfortable
"Yes??"
"So you're my mama"
"No."
"So you're not Tommys mama?"
"I am.."
"So you're my mama."
"No!"
"Yes."

Tommy looked over at us
"What did i do!?" He yelled loudly from the therapy couch
"Are you or are you not my brother?" She asked
"I am not your brother." He stated
"Incorrect try again." She demands
"I am your brother?" Tommy said confused
"Yes." She said "so that means that you!" She pointed at me "are mama!" She yelled
"Ok..." I gave up trying to resist it now
"Wait what even is your name?" I asked
"I'm may!" She smiled softly hugging me again
"That's a nice name" I said
