《This World Just Got A Whole Lot More Confusing | MCD and MyStreet Crossover》{Chapter Eight} Pyschically Linked

Shortly after Lizzie left along with the two Lucinda doppelgängers, Lady Aphmau found herself being taken to the side by her own clone. The girl, although identical, seemed much softer and less weathered. Sure, she had been through a fair bit, but it was nothing compared to what Lady Aphmau had gone through.
"What is it?" She snapped rather harshly.
The other girl blinked in surprise and waited a moment before replying.
"I just... I wanted to know more about you."
"I've told you my story." Lady Aphmau replied, turning away.
"Not all of it."
"What makes you think that?" She countered, turning to face her clone once more.
"You missed out what happened to your Aaron."
Lady Aphmau froze, her eyes darkening.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She answered sharply, trying to keep her voice from breaking.
"Yes, you do," Other her pressed, "He was Lilith and Alina's father."
Lady Aphmau stared at her in shock.
"How could you possibly know that?"
"Maybe we're psychically linked?" Aphmau suggested with a smile.
Lady Aphmau frowned.
"Okay... Lilith and Alina may have said something, well, more than a few things that lead to me that."
Lady Aphmau looked away and sighed.
"You can tell me what happened," Aphmau offered softly, "I'd be an impartial listener. Or maybe just biased to your side."
"It's not really a story with sides. Just one with a bad ending."
When Aphmau still looked at her hopefully despite her grave words, Lady Aphmau gave in and sat down on the cool ground behind the stairs. Her doppelgänger joined her.
"This is not a story for the faint of heart." She warned, still trying to dissuade the other girl.
"I can cope." Aphmau reassured her.

Lady Aphmau sent her one more dubious glance before she launched into the part of the tale she had neglected to tell beforehand.
It took a fair while to get through it all, answering many of Aphmau's questions along the way. Lady Aphmau found that she did feel better, reliving those happy moments and pretending she didn't know how it all ended. Eventually though, it did.
"It took me a long time to get over it, I'm still not really over it, but Lilith helped. A lot actually. And then I found out that I was pregnant with Alina, which I was not expecting at all. The way my friends found out was less than graceful as well. I kind of just collapsed in the market one day, and it all went downhill from there."
"It turned out alright though," Aphmau pointed out, "You have friends, and a family."
"For now. But our story isn't over yet."
"Then I guess you might as well enjoy this brief period of peace while you can." Aphmau smiled.
"I suppose so."
As if the divine had heard them and decided to play a cruel prank, their peace shattered in that moment, as a scream tore through the air.

Bleen Fada - The Legendary Pathfinder
It had been decades since dreams started to kill. Today, it's finally over.Mahon was once a general and an impressive warrior. In his dreams. In Nightmare. There, he put an end to the war that plagued mankind for decades. In the real world, however, the war has been raging for millenia, and Mahon is weak, his body frail from all his years spent dream-fighting. But it's time for a new beginning. In a world he knows almost nothing about, he will struggle to climb back to power, a necessity if he wants to achieve his goal. But he doesn’t lack willpower. And he already reached the highest ranks before. Who is to say he can’t do it again? That is, if the Fada let it be… This story takes place in a medieval fantasy world. Swords and schemes are the common ways to assert your place among the powerful. This story follows Mahon on his journey back to power. Not a simple one, as he will uncover some of the deepest mysteries that had been buried deep down along the ages. As of now, 98% of my chapters are through Mahon’s PoV and I want to keep it that way. There will be no unending PoV swaps for multiple chapters. Although war/conflict is one of the main themes, it’s not really a story about war. Instead, expect fights, plots, foreshadowing, progression and adventure from these chapters. It’s my first time publishing a book, and English is not my native language. I hope you will enjoy the story and that you’ll be indulgent enough to point out my mistakes with kindness. I wish to grow as a better writer and provide something that will make you cheer for, and shiver in anticipation. As long as you’re not, it means there is something to improve. Note: It's a slow progression fantasy, and some have raised complaints about the depressing tones and slowness in some of the first chapters. Rest assured, it soon disappears as Mahon progresses.
