《His Name Was Tate》our group

Me and Becks sat in the back of our English class. She looked extravagant as always. And I still looked like the bad ass that I am. "Isn't today your dads first day at the Mancini residence?" She asked quietly. I nodded my head.

"I'm a little nervous for him. Though he's an amazing chef he does have the tendency to be forgetful. I just he hopes he has a good first day." I said

"He'll be ok. Your dad is clearly an intelligent man, no matter how clumsy he my be. Besides, though Mr. Mancini is an intimidating man, he always treated his staff like family." She grabbed my hand and gave me warm smile to reassure me.

"Thanks." I said. I was gonna say something else but Rebeccas eyes shifted over to the front of the room. I looked in the direction she was staring at and saw what caught her attention.

"Boys? Your on time? I hope this becomes a permanent thin through out the school year?" Mrs. Robinson. They stood in all there glory. Tate stood in the back in silence. I took a quick glance at him. And my heart couldn't help but speed up a bit. His eyes locked with mine and I immediately looked away.

My breathing began to become uneven as I could feel his stare from the front of the room. I tried to focus on my breathing instead of the hot guy staring a hole in the side of my head.

"We can only hope Ms. Robinson." Mike said with a smile.

"We'll try our best, Ms. Robinson." Tim said. She nodded towards them.

"Take your seats." She said with a smile. I kept my eyes closed but I could hear there footsteps slowly coming toward us. "Fuck me." I heard Rebecca say under her breath.

The footsteps stopped and I felt a presence near my desk and j knew it wasn't Becks. "What do the three of you want?" Becks asked.

"Your father....is an amazing cook." Tate said from next to me. My eyes shot open and my breath caught. I looked him directly in the eye. His eyes were so dark. Like a pool of darkness that you could drown in. The longer we stared, the more I felt consumed. There were a coldness about them, and the was something else but I couldn't put my finger on it.

He was wearing his hood, so I really couldn't see his full face but I could see those eyes, as clear as day.

"Yeah, he really is. He talked about you almost all morning. It was kind of cute." Tim said from behind Tate. Mike stood in front of Becks with a wide smile, however she was doing everything in her power to ignore him.

I smile at Tim and looked back at Tate. Before I could get a word out the bell rang and the boys sat near me and Becks. Tate sat in front of me and Tim behind me. Rebecca sat next to me and of course Mike sat behind her.

"Alright class. Let's get started." Said Ms. Robinson. Today we were talking William Shakespeare. I'll be honest I was not paying attention what so ever. I couldn't help but stare at the back Tate's head. I shouldn't like him. He can't even remember my name for fuck sakes.

Besides, a relationship with my condition, as soon as he finds out that im sick, he'll be running for the heels. And not to mention, his father is one of the most powerful men in the world, and he could be the next in line for being the head his family business. Getting involved is the last thing I need. Besides I'm probably not his type.

"Alright, for the last forty-five minutes of class I want you guys to get in your groups and once your in your groups I will assign you all a play. One of the groups will have five, instead of four since we have an even amount of people. Once your in your group turn your desk toward each other to tell me your ready. Alright, go ahead."

People immediately flocked together and me, Becks and the boys were all that was left. Me and Becks made eye contact, and we could see the pure disappointment on both our faces. We should got up as soon as she said group assignment. We turned our desks toward each other like we were told. I was face to face with an annoyed Becks and we sat next to a quiet Tate. And on the other side of me was Tim and on the other side of her was Mike. I raised my hand to tell Ms. Robinson we were ready.

She made her way to our table and looked at Becks immediately. "You okay?" She asked worriedly. It didn't seem she was asking about her health but something else. She looked around the table then back at Becks. Does Ms. Robinson know about the relationship between her and the boys? Becks nodded her head. "I'll be fine." She said with a smile.

"Alright, you guys will have the basic one. Romeo and Juliet. Have fun." She said. She tapped Becks shoulder and then went to the next group.

"Romeo and Juliet......this should be easy." Tim said with a smile. As I looked around the table I could feel the somber and uncomfortable energy oozing from everyone. Yeah Tim....this should be real easy.
