《Addiction [boyxboy]》14. "you're both expelled"

I walked into school on Monday, after a boring weekend all by myself.
After my date on Friday with Alex, I lost my phone. I wasn't able to text or call anyone all weekend. But luckily, this morning I found it under my bed. I swear, I looked there a hundred times. But I had to leave it at home to charge since it was on the whole time it was under my bed, so now it's dead.
Ha, that rhymed.
Anyway, I walked into school Monday morning and started towards my locker. I was almost there when I tripped, I thought I was going to fall face first but someone grabbed my arm quickly and pulled me back into their chest.
I sighed a breath of relief and looked up. I expected it to be Jacob or Alex, but I was really surprised to see Tony smiling down at me. "You always seem to be dropping something or falling." He said while smiling at me.
I rolled my eyes and stood up straight. "I'm just clumsy." I replied.
I turned around and started toward my locker, the sound of Tony's footsteps close behind. I reached my locker and started putting the combination in as Tony leaned against the locker next to mine. I looked over at him, confusedly. "Is there a reason you're following me?" I asked.
He looked straight in my eyes. "We're friends. And friends follow each other around, right?" He asked.
"I guess." I responded while turning back to my locker and searching for my history book. I couldn't find it so I turned to Tony. "Friends also help-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before Tony was ripped off the wall and thrown on the floor.
I jumped before looking up at the attacker, who happened to be Jacob. He was walking towards Tony who was lying in the ground, rubbing the back of his head. Jacob lifted his hand and made a fist, right above where Tony was lying.
Tony's eyes widened and that's when I came back to reality, seeing that fearful look in Tony's eyes.. I ran up to Jacob and grabbed his arm that swung down and was just about to hit Tony in the face. "Stop!" I yelled as Jacob turned around and looked at me.
"What?" He asked.
"Don't hurt him!" I demanded, which had his eyes widening with a look of confusion in them.

"Why not?" He asked. "I've told him to leave you alone multiple times and he won't listen."
I stared at him for a second before speaking. "I don't need you to protect me. And either way, Tony and I are friends now." Just as those words left my mouth, he furrowed his eyebrows in what looked to be confusion and anger.
He was about to talk when he noticed that everyone in the hallway was looking at the scene he's caused. He looked back at me. "We'll talk at lunch." With that said, he turned around and walked away just as the homeroom bell rang.
I turned around to Tony. I walked up to him, still laying on the floor. "Are you okay?" I asked in concern.
He groaned as I grabbed his arm and helped him stand up. He stood up and sighed before speaking. "Yeah, I'm fine." I sighed and walked back to my locker. "Thanks. For stopping him." He said suddenly.
I closed my locker door and turned around to face him. "No problem." I smiled and he grinned back. "Do you need to go to the nurse?" I asked him, which he scoffed in reply.
"No..." He trailed off in thought and then paused before speaking. "But if it means I get to spend more time with you," he quickly grabbed his head. "My head really hurts."
I laughed. Tony isn't as bad as I thought.
.....
So, it turns out we really did go to the nurses office. I was waiting there with him even though the nurse told me to leave. Tony wouldn't let me leave.
But I was surprisingly fine with it.
Now here we are, sitting in the nurses office just laughing and joking around.
He was just about to tell me a joke when the nurse came in. "Ok," she started off. "I know you're not really hurt and you're not even supposed to be here, even if he was hurt." She said to Tony and then to me. "Both of you get out before I call the principal and have him come down here."
I got really nervous and started hyperventilating. "Do it." Tony dared her. "Call the principal." That's when I started freaking out even more. I've never gotten in trouble, I can't now.
"Just get out of here." She said and then looked at me. "You're giving your boyfriend a heart attack. Then you'll really have a reason to be here."

He looked at me and smiled before grabbing my hand and taking me out of the nurses office. But before the door closed, I realized what the nurse said and turned around to yell. "He's not my boyfriend."
"Could've fooled me." I heard her mumble just loud enough for me to hear before the door closed.
I looked at Tony who smirked and then winked at me. I blushed in reply. I looked at the time. "We've missed half of our classes." I said.
"Well..." He trailed off. "Do you just want to skip the rest of the day?"
I thought for a couple seconds before I came to my conclusion. I was about to tell him 'yes' when suddenly I was picked up, thrown over a shoulder, and carried away.
Already knowing who it was, I spoke. "Jacob, put me down!" I said, firmly.
He didn't even respond, he just kept walking towards the cafeteria. He walked into the cafeteria and headed towards our table. He placed me I'm a seat and sat next to me. "Why are you hanging out with him?" He asked me without any emotion in his voice.
I looked at him and saw that he had anger written on his face. "Why does it matter?" I asked him back.
"Because..." He said so deadly that I sunk back in my chair. "He's bad and he's my rival. He's up to something bad, I know it."
"Well, what if he's not?" I asked him which had him glaring at me. "What if he's just trying to be nice? Did you ever consider that?"
"No." He said, his voice cold and dark. "I know him, he's not nice. He is definitely up to something."
I rolled my eyes and got up to get lunch. Before I could reach the lunch line, someone grabbed my hand. I turned around to see a bubbly, smiley Alex staring into my eyes. "Hey." He greeted me.
I smiled back and got in line while he walked behind me. "So," he said. I looked over at him and he had this glint in his eyes. "Would you like to go on another date with me this Friday?"
I looked over at him and frowned. I mean, he's really sweet and everything but I want all this drama to just end. "I'm sorry. You're really sweet and kind and charming, but right now isn't a good time."
He frowned and his eyes got this sad look in them. "Oh..." He trailed off.
"Maybe after all this drama I have going on right now," I looked him in his eyes. "Maybe we can go on a date then."
He smiled slightly and nodded.
He paid for his lunch and I paid for mine before we both went to our separate tables.
I walked towards my table but before I reached it I noticed that someone was missing. My eyes widened and my pace quickened as I got near the table. I laid my tray down and looked around the cafeteria before asking out loud to everyone at the table, even though I was scared of knowing the answer. "Where's Jacob?"
They all either shrugged or ignored me. I sighed and looked out of one of the windows behind our table to see Jacob approaching Tony outside. Tony was talking to some guy when he Jacob reached him and tapped his shoulder. Tony turned around and as soon as there was a clear view of Tony's face, Jacob punched him. Right in the jaw.
My eyes widened and I gasped as I left the cafeteria and ran towards the fight that was starting to break out in front of the school.
Jacob was straddling Tony while punching him across his face, over and over again. I grabbed Jacob's arm and tried to pull him off of Tony. "Stop!" I yelled, which just ended up in Jacob putting his attention on me and quickly pushing me away.
It gave Tony just enough time to shove Jacob off of him and straddle him, punching him in his face. He punched all over his face; his nose, his jaw, his cheek. Everywhere on his face. People started crowding around them as they chanted for them to continue fighting.
Everyone stopped chanting and fighting when Principal Johnson rushed through and got to the boys, pulling them apart.
The next words that he said shocked me.
"You're both expelled!"
.....
OH JESUS CHRIST!!! AAAAHHHH!!!!
Well, that's what you get for fighting in school...fight afterwards if anything.
