《TroubleMaker (Twilight) (Editing)》Chapter 14: home sweet home

The trip back to Forks were quiet. Alex either glared at the Cullens or stared out the window. All in all she just wanted freedom and to never see another vampire as long as she lives. She was seated beside Demitri and Alec for the ride neither spoke to her though and she was fine with that.
When they finally got off the plane she attempted to avoid the Cullens which was hard with to vampires following her. "Your not going with them" Alec asked glancing at the covern.
"And why would I do that. I live at an orphanage" she questions leaving the airport. She started to walked when Demiti got in front of her. "That makes things easier. I'll adopt you until you finish school" he says smikring."then none of us has to deal with the Cullens"
Alex couldnt help but smile at the tall vampire. "True but I still have school with then so speak for yourself" she says rolling her eyes. She then thought about it. If she stayed with the Cullens they will stay on guard but with them she could get them to relax. So with a nod of her head she looked at the pair.
"Fine, temporarily adopt me then." She says changing her direction
Demiti dissapeared after that leaving her with alec. "So what did Aro mean by more guards" she asked
"There are a group of vampires hand chosen by the kings just to protect you. It's a great honor and they cant wait to meet you next week" Alec explains
Alex paled slightly. She thought she would have more time before she had to be watched by more vampires. She could feel her freedom slipping more and more the longer she spoke with the vampires. "No what maybe living with the Cullens wont be so bad" she comments regretting it the second she saw Alec looked at her suspiciously

"Or not, I'll love to be stuck at a house full of volturi guards specifically there for my safety " Alex says shrugging
Alec nods checking his phone. "This way my queen" Alec lead her into the woods making her nervous.
"Your not gonna kill me right?" She asked looking at him
He looked at her in surprise "I'll never hurt you my Queen. I'm simply going to run us home" he says holding his hand out to her.
Alex took his hand letting him pick her up before everything became a blur making her close her eyes. When she felt home stop only then did she reopen them to see a big house. "It will hold all your guards. We will be near " Alex says putting her down
"Great" Alex mumbled rolling her eyes. "Still dont understand why I need babysitters " she added walking into he house. Alec chuckled at his Queens antics.
"The world is dangerous "
"Trust me I know" she walked into the house
"Let me rephrase. Our world is dangerous "
Alex smirked at that and walked upstairs. Finding a demetri standing in front of a door she smirked.
"My room" she asked
"Yes my Queen, you have a walk in closet and bathroom also" he says opening the door
Alex walked in and looked around. The walls were painted black and in the middle of the room was a queen sized bed and two two that she only guessed led to a bathroom and the other a closet. She decided to explore later and throw her duffle bag onto the bed.
She was finally alone and the first thing she wanted to think about was running. She refused to be mated the the Volturi kings and to have her freedom taken away and shadow by vamp babysitters.
She still had all the money she stole now all she had to do was pick the right time to 'dissapear and preferably before next week.

Only Villains Do That
While waiting on an Akihabara train platform one day, ordinary high schooler Yoshi Shinonome was suddenly plucked from his normal life in Japan and whisked away by a beautiful goddess to Ephemera, a world of magic and adventure, to serve as her Hero and drive back the evil Dark Lord. This is not his story. Standing nearby at the moment Yoshi was isekai'd was a man named Seiji - a rude, cranky, misanthropic musician who was not at all pleased to find himself also snatched up and transported to Ephemera by the goddess's wicked sister, Virya. According to this self-proclaimed Goddess of Evil, the whole fantasy adventure thing was a game she and her sister played to stave off the boredom of immortality, and since the good goddess, Sanora, had picked her Hero...well, Virya needed a Dark Lord. A grown man with his own career and ambitions, Seiji has no interest in playing. Unfortunately for him, the call to adventure was not a request. Now, he must conquer Ephemera and defeat the Hero...or Virya promises to make him beg for the release of death before granting it. Playing along for his own survival, Seiji nonetheless is under no illusions who his true enemy is, and it's not the naive young would-be Hero from his own world. Placed in an impossible position, Seiji must make enough progress toward world domination to keep his sadistic patron goddess off his back, but not so much that he can't strike an accord with the forces of Good and convince the Hero Yoshi that it's the goddesses who are their mutual enemy. Forced to embrace Evil without being too evil, Seiji walks the razor's edge, building his forces and biding his time till he can get revenge on the goddesses and be free of them, his only certainty that he will not be getting out of this with his hands clean. A Dark Lord's gotta do what a Dark Lord's gotta do. Updates Tuesday and Friday. Most Patreon tiers get to read one chapter in advance of the public release!
