The Final Battle

Back In Britannia the battle in Camelot rages as a giant cocoon lays in the rubble of Camelot on as Zeldris is kicked in the head by Mael

Hendrikson jumps down from the broken castle to the other sins

Hendrikson: are you all, right?

Escanor: are you alright Hendi?

Merlin: (canting in an unknown language) Perfect... I've gotten through three minuets

Mael: Zeldris... let's draw this battle to a close. Although they may have been false memories... For a moment in time, we were brothers. If we talk things out, I'm sure we can come to an understanding.

Zeldris: Hmph. I'm sure your former self Estarossa would gotten a good laugh out of that if he could have heard it.

Zeldris holds his sword up creating a blade of darkness as the new blade

Mael: Zeldris...

Mael creates light blades out of his hands as the start to spin.

Zeldris charges at Mael as Zeldris sends attacks at Mael as he blocks all of them. The two then both exchange blows and blocking each attack.

Merlin: two more minuets

Zeldris looks away for a second allowing Mael to land a barrage of attacks on Zeldris

Mael: you seem to be panicking... quite unlike your cold, stoic self... do you want to win the holy war so badly that you would even have Meliodas become the demon king?

Zeldris hits the ground as Meal land nearby

Mael: are you truly okay with having your one and only brother in this world... becoming like a being like that?

Zeldris: you can say whatever you want

Zeldris stood behind Mael as he swung his blade at Meal

Zeldris: BUT MY BROTHER... MELIODAS WAS THE ONE THAT WANTED THIS... THOUGH I DID AS WELL...

Mael (thought): unbelievable... this blood curdling desperate drive.

Zeldris: so... JUST STAY OUT OF MY WAY

Zeldris went passed him cutting Mael open

Ludociel: MAEL

Merlin: Just one more minute

Zeldris: RRRRAAAAAAAGHH

Zeldris send a barrage of attack in the direction of the others as Ludociel blocks the once's going near Merlin

Ludociel: protect Merlin

Hawk: We're gonna be turned to swiss cheese

King then created pollen garden to protect everyone from the attacks

Diane: King

King: give it up already. You have no chance of winning

Zeldris : GOOOD DAAAAAAMNIT ALLLL

Zeldris creates a relentless attack at pollen garden

Hawk: bubu... he's completely lost himself into desperation

Elizabeth: Zeldris

Zeldris: RAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH

Mael: Just what is it that's backed you this far into the corner? Why are you pushing yourself to this extreme

Mael slashes at Zeldris back

Mael: it is unfortunate

Zeldris then falls down to the ground. He weakly stands up and walk toward Merlin

Merlin: everyone I owe you my gratitude you all managed to hold him out long enough

Merlin spell finally kicks in as stopping time around the cocoon everyone looks at shock at the cocoon and nothing moved around it

Hawk: has the cocoon's time really stopped?

Escanor: look Hawk. The bird has frozen

Zeldris falls down onto the ground

King: though it seemed like an eternity it was over in an instant

Hawk: WOOO HOOOO THE HOLY WAR IS OVER

Diane: HIP HIP HOORAY

Elizabeth: well done Merlin

Mael: Brother... I...

Ludociel : for now... don't say anything

Escanor: I'm so glad

Gowther: me too

Merlin then dropped to the floor

Escanor: Merlin... are you alright?

Merlin: that incantation leave even me drained I'm going to make the captain treat me to plenty of booze later

Elizabeth goes over to Hendrikson

Elizabeth: Hendrickson... I'm so grateful for what you did for my sister and Gil

Hendrikson: Lady Elizabeth... how do you know about that?

Elizabeth: King was watching with his spirit spear the whole time

Hendrickson looks around for King but doesn't recognize him in his new look.

Hawk looks at the cocoon as he eats a cube turning into a dragon pig and starts to fly overhead.

Hawk: get your ass back to normal already! Everyone worked their butts off for you, Meliodas. And there's only one day left until Elizabth's curse activates, you know......huh? The cocoon is empty

Everyone suddenly feels a strong presence as they start to sweat in fear.

Elizabeth: Meliodas... is that you?

Zeldris: kuku... Hahaha... you'd better keep your promise... Demon King

Meliodas: you sure went through a whole lot didn't you Elizabeth and... eight deadly sins. And that rare beast.

Hawk: rare?

Meliodas gives off a simple smile

Elizabeth: you're not Meliodas... who are you?

The sins get a bit of shock in them

Zeldris: Meliodas. I kept my end of the bargain. It's your turn to keep your promise now... Tell me where Gelda is

???: oh Zeldris... your heart is still bound by that bloodsucking vampire of a woman? Not only Meliodas, but you as well... I'm utterly dumbfounded at how you could allow yourselves to become like this.

Zeldris: ??

Diane: that tone... it really isn't the captain is it

Hawk: Meliodas has never once called me a rare beast

Elizabeth: I knew it

Merlin: sis-sis this is bad

Ludociel: to think... someone as monumental as this would appear on the battlefield.

Zeldris: this can't be... what are you doing in Meliodas's body... father?... What's going on here? Didn't you say you were going to make Meliodas the new demon king?

DK: did you truly believe I would allow a traitor like him to take the throne? All I wanted was a fresh, young, powerful body.

Zeldris: !!

DK: the commandments were fragments of my power. He who absorbs them all shall become the demon king. In other words... they will become my new vessel for me to inhabit. And that pesky Saiyan almost stopped me from getting this body

In a second the sins surrounded the Demon King

Elizabeth: Leave Meliodas' body at once

Hawk: if you're really a father, then do at least something for your own son

DK: For my son? Hmph ... I see. To grant the dearest wish of one's son is the duty of a father?

Hawk: Hoe?

DK: verry well! I've come up with a good idea. Elizabeth, I shall free you from the curse of eternal rebirth that afflicts you.

Hawk: PUGOOOH WOW. That was unexpected this pig daddy can listen to reason after all. I can't believe you'd free Elizabeth from her curse yourself

DK: I will break her curse... and then kill her as brutally as possible... when he sees your corpse... I wonder how he will react? Will he fall into despair knowing he'll never again be able to see you, and lose the will to live? Or perhaps, will he be relieved you are finally freed from your curse and thus lose his purpose in life? Either way, it works out perfectly for me. Don't you think so eight deadly sins.

The demon king swings his claw down at Elizabeth as Gowther grabs hold of her getting her out of the attack's direction

Gowther: Ready Merlin

Escanor: Hendi, get over here

Merlin here I go

Merlin creates a perfect cube around herself and Hendrikson, Escanor Gowther and Elizabeth

Hawk: LET ME IN TOO

A perfect cube forms around Hawk which is just a bit too small for him to fit in

Hawk: mugyaa ah... th... thanks

Merlin: KING DIANE REMEBER MAGICAL ATTACKS WON'T WORK AGAINST THE DEMON KING

King and Diane: GOT IT

Mael: allow me to help, as well

Diane swings her hammer down onto the demon king

Diane: we will protect Elizabeth, no matter what it takes!!

King: I won't let you have your way with the captain's body

Spirit spear strikes the demon king. As a punch from Mael comes out of nowhere as he follows it up with more strikes.

Mael: impossible... he hasn't even budged, and isn't wincing from my attacks... instead he's perfectly blocking every last one!

The claws on the demon king swing around hitting everyone as well as breaking the perfect cube that was supposed to protect Elizabeth. The all laid down on the ground injured form only one of the demon king's attacks

King (thought): this is bad after all these back-to-back battles my magic is at its limit.

Ludociel: stop it, you can't possibly compete against an opponent like him

Mael: I can't just sit doing nothing and allow Elizabeth to be killed

DK: I simply cannot understand. Why do you continue to struggle in futility? I'm going to free her from her curse and grant her the repose of death.

Hawk: Hey Demon Kingy. If you dare harm a hair on Elizabeth's head, then you'll have the captain of the scrap's disposal knights... rather... the king of scraps, lord Hawk to deal with. And as the king of scraps, once I unleash my true power, I'll be able to gobble you up in one bite!

Elizabeth: HAWK... DON'T TAUNT HIM.

Hawk: ohoooh some demon king you are. You're shaking in your boots aren'tcha

Ludociel: I... is that creature a complete idiot? What is he doing?

The demon king grins as a claw strikes down a Hawk as it then rises with a broken Hawk in the claw

DK: looking at that face of yours makes me boil with rage. I'll send you to your brother right here and now

The claw starts to squeeze Hawk.

Elizabeth: STOP IT... DON'T KILL HIM

Just then Hawk vanishes from the claw as the demon king looks surprised

???: can you hear me, cap'n?

Merlin: so, you made it back?

Escanor: I... always believed in them

Diane: yeah

Mael: he's

Hendrikson: the fox's sin...

Ban: let's kick this deadbeat dad of yours outta here already

DK: you're going to drive me, the demon king out? You? All by yourself? How do you expect to do that?

Hawk (crying): Ban... you came back for us... you really did

Ban: always pushing yourself too far aren'tcha

Ban throws Hawk over his shoulder

Ban: take care of master for me

Gowther catches Hawk

King: Ban! No matter how immortal you are, there's nothing you can do against him all on your own

Ban: ah, about that... unfortunately, I'm not immortal anymore... I brought Elaine back to life which completely used up the fountain of youth

King: then that means

Ban the cracks his knuckles

Ban: now then. Shall we get to driving you out?

DK: you foolish boy... this is the power of a god

The demon king creates a store as it consumes everything destroying the remains of Camelot. King created pollen garden to protect everyone apart from Ban.

Diane: Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: Diane! Is everyone all right?

Diane: Mael and the others seem to be fine... but Ban is still on the outside... what should we do?

King (struggling): Ban

Escanor: I'm sure he of all people will be okay

Gowther: there's an energy storm out there that's intensely toxic and caustic I don't think any kind of life can possibly survive it

Diane: no, that can't be.

The demon King look to see Ban hadn't been killed

DK: ohhh so you can withstand this?

Ban: compared to the conditions of purgatory, this is a pretty adorable little breeze you got here

The demon king swings is claw down at Ban as Ban vanished from the strike. A punch come out of nowhere striking the demon king. The demon king blocked the punch with his hand causing him to stop the storm as it started to die down.

Everyone lets their barriers go down as King falls returning to former looks.

Ludociel: why did the storm stop?

Mael: brother look at that

Ludociel sees Ban and the demon king.

Ludociel: impossible. He's going blow to blow with the demon king

Ban grabs the demon king by the head sending his knee into the demon king's stomach. The demon king swings his claws at Ban as he avoided them with ease as Ban sees an opening sending two punches in the demon kings' direction as both made contact the demon king send a claw into Ban stomach and another into his back sending Ban to the ground.

DK: Kahaaahaha did you really thing that you could win against me on your own?

The demon king felt a bit of pain as he bends over groaning

Ban: hey moron. I'm not on my own

Escanor: I don't believe it! Ban's attacks had a real effect on him

Gowther: but that's not all

Diane: this feeling... It's...

Elizabeth: there's no mistaking it... from within the demon king, this presence we're sensing it's Meliodas.

Merlin: that's just like him to fight the demon king from within... it's not like him to throw in the towel just yet

Hawk: turn that Demon King pig into ground pork

Diane: HAWK that's the captain's body

Hawk: ah... that's right

DK: I knew that I should have killed you three in purgatory

Ban: good to hear Fire is alive

The demon King sends both claws at Ban as he jumps around avoiding them, before jumping behind him kicking him in the back of the head sending him flying to the ground as Ban lands here the demon king sending another kick to the demon king's head. The demon king reacts by headbutting Ban in the head as Ban grabs hold of him sending the demon king into the ground breaking the ground creating a valley

Ban: what's wrong Demon King? Having trouble controlling your son's body as you'd please? Or perhaps you've been rejected by your son? Just so you know, you're nothing compared to the real Meliodas' strength.

The demon king looks up catching Ban off guard grabbing hold of him with his claw swing him slamming him constantly into the ground sending dust and earth everywhere

Diane: BAN

The demon king hold Ban next to him stabbing Ban with his hand in his gut

Demon King: don't get cocky!

Diane: he's begun overtaking Ban

Elizabeth: MELIODAS STOP! YOU CAN'T LET YOUR OWN HAND WOUND BAN LIKE THIS

Escanor: CAPTAIN! CAN YOU HEAR OUR VOICES?

???: no, he can't

The demon king and Ban gets hit by a wave of fire making the Demon King drop Ban. The flames quickly disappear as a figure stand next to Ban.

Ban: took you long enough... Fire

(Y/N): sorry... traffic was hell

DK: you pesky Saiyan why can you just stay gone?

(Y/N): we will hold him here you guys go help the captain from the inside

Diane: how are we supposed to do that?

Gowther: everyone! I have got a plan

The sins go to Gowther as he fires a bolt into the demon king invading his mind. A second later the demon king screams out in pain

DK: in that case, I'll sever that power source of yours

Mael and Ludociel stand in front of the sins

Mael: we'll never allow that

DK: the likes of you four archangels dare raise your swords against a god

(Y/N): perhaps you focus on your opponents

Ban punches the Demon King's face and (Y/N) slashes the demon king with his flame blade while his hair is red with silver tips. The demon king swings his claws at (Y/N) as he narrowly avoids it. Ban the knees the demon king in the head. The demon king goes to punch Ban as (Y/N) redirects his punch with is hand into the ground allowing Ban to kick the demon king in the head sending him flying.

The demon king stands up as his claws move around his back creating a weird creature in the sky as it seems to form energy in its mouth.

Ban: oh no you don't

Ban grabs hold of it with snatch pulling it back down into the ground.

The demon king goes to elbow Ban causing Ban to let go but (Y/N) kick the demon king out the way

(Y/N): you destroy that, I'll hold the demon king back

Ban runs over to the sage as he punches it away.

(Y/N) jumps at the demon king kicking him in the face as the demon king grabs hold of his leg sending him around slamming him into the ground.

The sage changes form as it spins around in the air as it moves to Ban cutting him as it flies past him.

The demon king throws (Y/N) into the air about to shoot magic at him as a Kamehameha comes crashing down into the demon king.

Ban stand there trying to block the sage as it keeps flying past him slashing at him only for it to stop close to him as it was pulled away as Zeldris pulled it towards him with ominous nebula as he cuts it apart

Zeldris: focus on getting Meliodas back in his body

Ban nods going to join (Y/N)

(Y/N) hold his Kamehameha on the demon king as a flash of light strikes through the blast striking (Y/N) causing him fall down coming out of his form as his hair returns to black.

Ban comes and punches the demon king in the back before kicking him in the side of the head

(Y/N): sorry I am all out of strength

Ban: leave him to me

Ban punches the demon king in the face as the demon king uppercuts Ban as ben retaliates with a punch to his gut followed by another to the face as he sends his elbow to his face. The demon king was stunned for a second allowing Ban to kick him in the head sending him skipping across the ground.

A black aura forms around the demon king as he screams before flying off in zig zag motion.

Ban: what is it this time?

Merlin: that's the demon kin's death throes

Ban: you... you all

(Y/N): please tell me you were successful?

Merlin: he's planning on dragging the captain down along with him... we need to drive him out of his body NOW

The demon king keeps bouncing around Ban catches up with him

Ban: you seriously don't know when to give up do you?

Ban keeps hold of the demon king trying to slow him down before kicking him into the air

Elizabeth: Ark

Merlin: perfect cube

King: Pollen Garden

Elizabeth/Merlin/King: combo technique triple prison

The demon king stays residing within the prison as he bounces around trying to escape

Diane dances gathering up magic

Diane: hang in there, captain

The demon king burst out of the prison as he shoots at the ground staring at Ban ready to charge

Hawk jumps onto the back of the demon king

Hawk: my final ultimate technique Meet darkness

Lightning strikes Hawk as the screams out in pain

Ban: MASTER

Diane is finally ready as the ground shakes as diamonds rupture out of the ground under the demon king forming a tower as he is sent up with them

Diane: the rest is up to you BAN

Ban runs up the tower as he reaches the top

(Y/N): got enough strength for this "Gift of the Fire Element"

Ban's hand goes alight with deep red flames as he raises the hand into the sky

Ban: I'm comin' for you cap'n. It's time to get your ass back here!

Ban strikes the demon king with all his might splitting the tower in two to half way causing a shockwave in the proses.

Everyone on the ground looks up.

Diane: did it work?

Elizabeth (tearing up): yes... welcome back

Meliodas and Ban laid on the tower.

Meliodas: my body is beaten up really badly

Ban: we are all beaten up badly... ow
