The next day after the little bandit thing I got up because of Rin shaking me awake. "Git up y/n. Lord Sesshomaru and master joken are leaving." When she said that I got up.
"Okay, okay, I'm up," I said. With that, we were on the move.
Rin looked at me tugging on my clothes. "I have a question?"
"What's up?" I asked looking down at her As we followed the others.
"What did they do to you?" She asked with worry in her eyes.
"Nothing much. They just want-" I was then cut off.
"F/n?!" I looked to where the voice came from.
"Oh hello, Kagome!" I said waving at her as she ran closer to us. When I did Sesshomaru looked back at me with a look on his face he said "go on" and then it had the look that said, "your dead" you know his usual face. "I'm going to hang out with her, I'll be back before dark." With that, I ran off.
"Demon."
"Y-yes?"
"Go keep an eye on her."
"Yes, Sesshomaru."
"So I have a question?" I said as I and Kagome stopped at a lake.
"What is it?" She said with a smile.
"I have heard the story from joken but... I don't really trust him. Can you tell me why Sesshomaru and Inuyasha don't really like one another?" I asked as I put my hand in the water.
"Well, what I have gathered it's because Inuyasha's mom was human and his dad a demon. That made him half human and half demon. Sesshomaru doesn't like humans, and since his brother is half I guess that means he doesn't like him either." She then put on finger on her mouth as though she was thinking.

"He does call Inuyasha half breed as an insult? So I guess it is because he's half human." She then looked at me putting her finger down. "Why do you ask?"
I stood up from the water and looked into the distance. "I just wanted to know, can you promise me something?"
"Yeah? What is it." After she said that I turned to her and stuck out my hand for her to shake.
"Promise me we will always be friends, also we won't let those boys come in between us," I said. She then shook my hand.
"I promise. Maybe someday you can come into my world and stay the night." She said.
"That will be great!" I yelled with happiness.
"Hay y/n, where did you get those scars?" She asked with worry.
"Oh, that?" I asked quickly hiding my arms behind my back. "I got those from a bandit," I said with a goofy smile.
"I'm guessing that's where you got that splinter also?" She asked.
I quickly looked at my arms. "W-what were?" She pointed it out to me. "I can't believe me and Sesshomaru missed that," I said with shock.
"Sesshomaru help you get them out?"
When she asked that question I started to blush when I realized how close we were to one another getting out the splinters, a smile then came to her face. "I have a question? Why are you blushing?" She asked with a little giggle.
I covered my face. "W-what blush?!" I yelled going down to my knees and hiding my face from her.
'oh god, d-do I have a little crush on
s-Sesshomaru?!' at the thought I got even more flustered. "Oh god," I whispered.

"Do you like Sesshomaru like that?" She asked with a smile.
"S-shut up," I whispered.
"What!!" As soon as we heard that voice demon landed next to me. "You can't fall for that demon!! He might kill you when you least expect it!!"
I stood up and looked at him with a death look. Out of nowhere, I kicked him into the water, he started to panic as he flipped and flopped in the water as he drifted off. "Uh y/n, do you think he will be okay?" Kagome asked.
"Yeah. He's fine, it's not the first time I've done that to him. Last time he went down a waterfall when I kicked him into the river." I said as we started to walk.
Once I and Kagome split ways I had time to think to myself only I done it out loud Wich was not a good idea but you know what who cares. "Do I have a crush on him? Oh my God, what if I do?" I asked myself putting my hands on my head.
"Okay, okay, think about this y/n. It will probably pass sooner or later. Just have to give it time." I said crossing my arms.
"Yeah? I'm sure it will to sweetheart. Besides it's not like your going to see him again." I turned to see who it was.

Mycology
Declan was but a teenager when he was invited to Gaia. It wasn't some popular VRMMO like the ones his friend keeps recommending, nor was it a 'game' in the traditional sense. Gaia was the stopgap to Indiri, a living breathing world, the final creation of a dead genius. Invited to this world by Eve, the overseer and an AI light-years greater than any that came before her, Declan was given a choice. To join or not to join? Well, why the hell not? Hello, this is a pretty basic VR story which I started writing out of boredom, don't expect anything too great here, it's a somewhat unique setting but with mostly slice of life comedy shenanigans with no real 'plot' since I can't reliably include stakes in a world where respawning is a thing. I'll try to upload at least once every other week but real life stuff may get in the way occasionally. **WARNING** Protagonist comes with an inbuilt wizard hat. Also, any mentions of chapter titles shall be met with falling rocks TPK. **ACTUAL WARNING** Story may or may not read like the fever dream of an eclectic sasquatch with internet connection. Do be warned, that this story has extremely slow pacing by design. Join the Discord!! https://discord.gg/p2gxqs4 Laugh at my empty Patreon!!
