I sighed as I made my way onto the plane, sitting down beside Yoongi.

"You miss her, don't you?" he asked, staring at his phone.

"Yeah." I said, staring at the seat in front of me.

"It'll be fine, Taehyung. I'm sure she misses you, too. And you'll see her by February, anyway." he said, and I nodded.

"You're right, hyung." I said, and he looked at me, slightly smiling, but then he looked behind me, rolling his eyes.

I looked at him, confused. But when I turned my head to look who was standing beside me, I immediately understood.

It was none other than Sumi.

"Hi, Tae." she smiled sweetly at me.

"Oh hey, Sumi. I didn't know you were a flight attendant." I said, looking up at her and smiling.

"After I graduated, I finally decided on what I wanted to do." she said and laughed.

"How have you been?" I asked her.

"I've been doing good, actually. I got my own house now." she said, and I smiled.

"Well, that's good. I'm happy for you." I said, and she thanked me.

"I heard you and Selena Gomez are friends now?" she asked, and I nodded.

"Yeah... we're great friends now." I said, and she nodded, her smile now gone.

"Oh, well, I better get going now, nice to see you Tae." she said and left.

Yoongi rolled his eyes again once she left.

"I've never liked her." he said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"She's too fake." he simply said, going back onto his phone.

I just shrugged it off, going back on my phone to see I missed a text from Selena.

She messaged me saying that she reached her house.

I texted her back, but got no response.

That's weird, she usually responds pretty fast.

Maybe she's taking a shower or something...

20 minutes passed, and I then got a text from Selena.

Selena: sorry I didn't respond

Taehyung: it's fine, don't worry

Selena: I met up with Justin

Taehyung: huh? why? did he hurt you?

Selena: no, he just asked if I could tell the media that what he did to me is all made up and he said if I didn't do it, he would expose me for "cheating" with you

Taehyung: what's his problem, anyway? once he got exposed as he should've, he basically threatened you

Selena: I don't know, he can "expose" me all he wants. the media are aware that you guys literally just arrived to America anyway, so it would make no sense on how I cheated or got in contact with you.

Taehyung: you're right... I just wish I could be there for you.

Selena: it's okay, Tae. I'm just lucky I have you.

Taehyung: I'll be here for you, I promise

Selena: thanks, Tae. I have to go take a shower now, bye :)

Taehyung: bye :)

Once I got done texting Selena, some staff then came out and handed us snacks.

Sumi then walked back over to me, handing me a bag of chips, which was my favorite kind.

"Thanks, Sumi." I thanked her, and she smiled, handing me a Sprite.

She smiled and walked away. But once I looked at the Sprite, I saw a piece of paper at the top.

Confused, I grabbed it and opened it, seeing a number.

I saw no harm in it, so I added her number to my phone.

I looked to my left and saw Yoongi asleep. No surprise there.

After a while, I got a FaceTime request from Selena. Smiling, I accepted it.

"Hey, Selena." I said.

"Hey, Tae. How's the flight?" she asked, and I saw her sitting on her bed.

"It's good, we have a long way left, though." I said, and she nodded her head.

"Yeah, you should rest." she said, and I then looked over at Yoongi, putting my phone in front of him for Selena to see.

"Looks like Yoongi already beat me to it." I said, and she laughed.

I giggled and put my phone back in front of me.

"Hey, for real, though. Get some rest." she said, pointing her finger to the phone and having a serious look on her face.

"I will, I promise." I said.

"And remember, you promised me." she said, and I nodded, smiling at her.

"Wait." I suddenly said, catching her attention.

"What?" she said.

"Smile." I said.

"Why?" she asked, beginning to smile.

"I'm going to take a screenshot of us and post it onto Weverse, the app where I update my fans." I said, and she continued to smile.

I smiled too, taking a screenshot of us and telling her I was done.

I then posted it onto Weverse with a caption of, "Selena says hi."

"Okay, I'm done!" I said and smiled.

Suddenly, I heard Taylor calling Selena's name.

"Oh, I have to go now, talk to you later?" she said, and I nodded.

"Yeah, don't forget to text me!" I said, and she nodded.

"Of course I won't forget. Bye, Tae." she said and hung up.

I then took a photo of Yoongi and uploaded it onto Weverse as well, saying, "and Yoongi, too."

I laughed and then decided to take a nap as Selena told me.

Soon, we arrived back in Korea.

I exhaustedly made my way back to my apartment and lay on my bed.

We had to go back to our normal routines tomorrow, which would basically be waking up early and practicing.

But soon I remembered about Sumi. She would probably want me to text her right now.

I then texted her saying hello.

Taehyung: hey, it's Taehyung

Sumi: oh hey, Tae! I'm glad you texted me.

Taehyung: well yeah you did slip a piece of paper on my sprite haha

Sumi: oh yeah, well I just wanted to get back in contact with you again, it's been a while

Taehyung: yeah, it has

Taehyung: sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you back then...

Sumi: oh don't worry about it Taehyung, that's the past

Sumi: anyway, want to get something to eat later today?
